- First time checking out The Hu, and I really enjoyed the sound, I will read up on what the lyrics mean, but I wanted to just feel the vibe of the song.
I sometimes get lost in translation when attempting to translate lyrics from different tongues, but the vibe I got from The Hu with This is Mongol, is the pride of Mongolia, and the history of the country.
Really cool song.
Let's check out THE HU - This Is Mongol | FIRST TIME Reaction

These guys are amazing. My own favourites are The Great Chinggis Khaan, Yuve Yuve Yu, and Shoog Shoog.
They are Mongolian, yes. The voices are partly from incorporating Mongolian throat singing and they use traditional Mongolian instruments alongside modern ones.
❤❤❤
Cool
Hey Bruce. They are awesome live, saw them open for Halestorm a couple years ago.
They are from Mongolia, and use traditional Mongolian Instruments along with guitar ,bass and ,drums. Metal/rock crossed with Mongolian folk, and throat singing. Yes, they reference their Mongoilian heritage.
The 2 string being played with a bow is a Morin Khuur or Horseheads Fiddle. The 3 string being played like a guitar is a Tovshuur. 4 members and 4 touring members.
Gala and Enkush on Morin Khuur and throat singing.
Jaya - throat singing , Tumur Hhuur( jaw harp), Tsuur (end blown flute)
Temka - Tovshuur
Touring Members:
Ono - percussion
Jamba - guitar
Davaa - bass
Odko _ drums.
They have redone several songs with new English lyrics and guest singers. This was redone with Wm. Duvall (Alice In Chains). "Song of Women" was redone with Lzzy Hale(Halestorm), "Yuve Yuve Yu" with Danny Case (From Ashes To New), "Black Thunder" with Serj Tankian (System of a Down) and DL from Bad Wolves.
I know you like Papa Roach, so you will want to check out the redone version of "Wolf Totem" with Jacoby Shaddix.
They have also covered "Sad But True" by Metallica, in Mongolian.
I will have to check out some of those songs with english lyrics, I def enjoyed their vibe!
Yeah This is Mongol. Thank you
thanx for the reaction, songs like Wolf Totem have subs. see you on the next one
Sweet! I’ll check out wolf totem next!
♥ :) ♥ awesome band. Starting listening to them a few years ago. Just fantastic. Of course need English lyrics whenever possible, but not really needed to enjoy the music.
Wolf Totem is usually the first video that reactors are directed to. Try that one.
I’ll check that one out!!
I remember discovering these guys (or this guy) a few years back. I dug them at first, but started getting weird vibes and bad dreams when I would listen, so I stopped listening. But this has definitely got a kickin' sound.......I think it would make a great driving song.
Ya I think nightmares are possible haha
No nightmares or strange thoughts from this music for me. I have other issues, but not from the HU Sorry to read about your issue with it. Everyone is different, makes for an interesting world.
@@adam.4487 as the old saying goes........."Variety is the spice of life." Thanx for the comment my friend.
You are welcome.👍but this is not one of my favorite songs.
The Hu means human in mongolian language. One of the guitar like instruments is closley related to the Kazak Kobys but I forget it's name.
Try Wolf Totem, Yuve Yuve Yu (almost Pop- like) The Great Chinggis Khan, Sad but True cover, and for a more Ballad feeling go for Mother Nature featuring LP version is best, and Song of Women featuring Lzzy Hale from Halestorm.
Happy to see The Hu getting onto your channel.🔥
🥰🥰🥰Hugs from a Canadian Dear🇨🇦
Thanks!!!
