I saw The Hu play in 2022 before Megadeth and FFDP. I hadn't heard of them prior to the show but I was blown away by their performance. Incredible music and such an amazing experience.
8:52 the Instrument made the Horse’s “Whinny” you heard, it’s called a Morin Khuur (Horsehead Fiddle), and Master Morin Khuur players can mimic horses and Falcon cries with the instrument. It has only 2 strings and is played with a bow, the “Male” (thicker) string is made from 150 tail hairs from the player’s own horse, the “Female” (thinner) string has 130 hairs, using hair from the player’s own horse “binds” the instrument to the player.
It's funny that the ancient Mongols were like locusts, sweeping away entire nations from the face of the earth, but when we listen to Hu, even the descendants of their victims become Mongols for a moment. I have it worse, because a small part of my blood is Tatar, and when I listen to Hu, this drop starts to boil ;)
everyone should be enjoying this Mongolian Folk Music sounds terrific and the camera shots angles has a very cool vibe the shots of the landscape mountains and such
This is the second song by the Hu I’ve heard. Very intriguing. The first is a collaboration with Lzzy Hale called “Song of Women”, very cool and moving. You would like it I think. Great sympathies (empathies?) here for struggling to find words. Nice to have company. 😏 Thanks for giving us this one. MB Edit: How could I forget? I’ve also watched “Wolf Totem”. A lot of cool imagery.
I'm a huge fan of your channel! I'd love to see your reaction to bloodywood(it's an indian street metal band) Would you consider creating a reaction video for it?
The two songs you really should react to from the Hu are "the great Chinggis Kahn" and "legend of mother swan" both are slower and really showcase the vocals

If you like cool cultural stuff, then you need to take a listen to ALIEN WEAPONRY - and their song "Kai Tangata". Maori metal from New Zealand. ❤🤍💙
The true soul of humanity is music and the arts❤
I hadn't heard of the Hu prior to Iron Maiden announcing them as a guest act, thanks Maiden!
I’ve seen them live. What a great show.
I really hope they come to my town again my wife and me loved their live show
This song jams! The horse sound is my favorite part!
I hope that someday you get to see them live. Brilliant performers.
8:29 the effect was made with the instrument itself.
This song has such a fun bounce to it. Mongolian feel good music
My favorite song of theirs

the instrument is ancient and inspired from horses since they lived on horse back. Its supposed to imitate horses noise.
Mongolian here. You are great! Keep that energy!

The last verse of this song hits so hard ngl 😂😂😂, love this song🤘🤘🤘
Check out the hu-wolf totem feat jacoby shaddix of papa roach its really good.
*08:30* It does make a sound like a horse because the instrument itself is made from horse tail, Isn't that fun?!

As you love The Hu, you should give fellow Mongolians Uuhai a listen as well as they are similar, but different. Khar khulz is a great starting point.
You look like the principal from school of rock 🤩 🤘
Mother Nature by The Hu Band ft LP 👍 react to it very nice 👍
Try listening to Bloodywood. Indian metal at its finest.
I recommend "alien weaponry- kai tangata"
they sound a hell of a lot better live but the music is still great
This music is Mongolian national music and sounds like a horse🔥
