As a Mongolian I love and respect THE HU tremendously. Due to their rise to stardom many young kids and adults started to learn traditional instruments and traditions which is one of the greatest achievements they've made. Thank you for reacting and loving their song.
WHAT A HAPPY SURPRISE!! You found the Hu! These guys are beyond phenomenal and their stage presence is INSANE! I've been blessed to see them 4 times. They are also big teddy bears off stage ♡
Besides their music, they also have Hu's in the kitchen - yes, they can all cook and Hu are we where they take you into their homes and daily lives. I've seen them twice here in Australia and would go see them again in a heartbeat.
They are known in US and we went to their concert in Santa Fe NM!! Love their music it reaches into the mind ✊🏽 and touches the heart! Modern ancestral music 💜
They traveled all over Mongolia for two weeks to shoot their own video for this song. I think they did a terrific job. Loved seeing the country too. They're just a fabulous group, especially live. They get better and better each year.
Yes it's very cool!! The horse is very sacred to them, much like a cat to an Egyptian. They actually make a horse somewhere in every song, you just have to listen carefully to catch it, it's in Wolf Totem too, just don't know exactly where off the top of my head. I love "Star wars fallen order" as well, it's the song they did for the video game.
Throat singing and hard rock were meant for eachother. Some years ago I used this music to scared away some drug seller in front of my kindergarten. They never came back. 😂
omg you have no idea how happy i was when this popped up on my feed. my best friend and i have very different music tastes, but the hu is one of very few bands that we can both jam out to together!!! they have literally no skips, all bangers. so slay to see one awesome dude reacting to these equally awesome dudes!!!
WOW ..Roscoe so happy you have discovered the Hu. Many Dimash Dears love The Hu too.❤️🌹👍 This was my first Hu Band song 3 or 4 years ago. I love these guy and they are such nice people despite the "badass"😂🤣😂 lyrics. My favorite is Mother Earth with LP version. The Song of Woman with Lizzy is really good too. They do a truly badass Chaggis Khan and cover Sad but True from Metallica. Thanks Roscoe. You made my day.👍🌹🌹🌹❤️🔥🌹🌹 This was one of the best The Hu Band reactions I ever saw🤣😂🤣Pay Attention!👍❤️🔥🤣🤣As good as your first Dimash reactions. Great🤣😂🤣👍👍👍🥰🥰🥰 Hugs from a Canadian Dear🇨🇦
I am so pleased to see you enjoy The HU, I have seem them live and even without understanding the lyrics, the power and passion of the band shines through. The HU are simply brilliant musicians who have all attained major status in their home Country of Mongolia with several actually becoming professors in music
Temuulen "Temka" of the Hu is a (mainstream?) composer. He's composed music for films. And the band members: Jaya, Gala, Enkush, and Temka: I believe all of them have PhDs in music.
I been listening to The Hu for years and years. I dont know if there is a better type singing for metal than Mongolian Throat singing. I been listening to these guys longer than BTS (I am firmly an ARMY and STAY now) and metal for over 30+ years. Their use of tradtional Mongolian sounds and instruments is really cool and fitting. They even were invited to play on Metallica's 30th anniversary project due in large part to a remake they did of "Sad But True" in Mongolian. Per Wikipedia "In preparation for the project, Metallica invited some musicians who had gained notice for covering other Metallica songs in the past, such as the Warning,[5] the Hu,[6] and Rodrigo y Gabriela.[7] Metallica then invited artists from a variety of genres to contribute unique interpretations of the songs.[8] The invited artists were permitted to choose which song to cover.[5] According to a statement made by the band, "The Metallica Blacklist offers up new dimensions of the record whose gravitational pull first drew the mainstream to Metallica - and provides new insights into the universal and timeless appeal that kept it there: the boundary-smashing influence these 12 songs have had on fans and musicians of all stripes."[9] If you like metal or want a neat way to be introduced to it, The Hu is a great way to do so. They even did a version of their most well known song in the West with Jacob Shaddix of Papa Roach called "Wolf Totem" that I'd love you to do. Man it is awesome. 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜 edit:: "PAY ATTENTION" HAHA. Did Daddy Roscoe come out?😂😂😂
Hi fellow stay and army, I just discovered the hu, but I love them already. I used to listen to a lot of metal and rock prior to getting into Kpop. I listen to a lot of Korean rock too.
Awesomw you finally made it ro The Hu....there is soooo much more to discover with this band. Enjoy the ride. Next should be the Wolfs Totem....Black Thunder....Rock 🤘🏽🔥on
I love that they showed the beautiful geography of Mongolia. The professional videography really brought this to a new level. They have several other powerful songs you should check out. I saw their concert in Seattle and they didn't disappoint!
Just saw them in Ottawa about 10 days ago, in an auditorium holding roughly 1200 people. Fantastic! What an adrenaline rush. Would see them again, anytime.
The Hu band rock live we saw them as headliners in Indiana and will enjoy them again here in Michigan at the UpHeaval Festival in July, my wife is so excited she loves them, we both love them
"Traditional instruments with modern musicality...." You would LOVE Alffy Rev! I actually put in a request for one of his songs a week or two ago in the discord. It not only features his amazing musical abilities, but also the incredible vocals of an amazing young female singer who performs portions of 9 or so traditional folk songs integrated into the masterpiece. In the video every time you see her change costume and makeup she is representing a different ethnicity within Indonesia and her tone, pronunciation, and accent changes also. She has also sang everything from folk to pop to hiphop to rock to trap, you name it, and she's only 20 years old. It has the message of being proud of our past and heritage and incorporating it into our present works to build an even better future. Some people argue over whether the old ways or the new ways are better and pit the younger generations against the older generations. Alffy genuinely believes that our cultural heritage is an important part of our soul and does not hold us back, but rather gives us a strong foundation to create amazing things not only in art, but also as a society. ...and he is a DJ, composer, director, etc. that has reportedly mastered 71 musical instruments both traditional and modern. 😊
Love the band. I found the RUclips music video. Absolutely fabulous. I love world music and the enrichment it provides and the creativity invested. The Hu have provided another rich flavor to the music of the world.
I just discovered this musical- artistic-folk Mongolian with Nerve adjustment, Spinal tapping WOW! It sings and resonates from the bottoms of my feet to the top of my head...Gonna watch your reaction again..I subscribed too..
The HU are great because they have powerful roots and a strong core. That's how their art has such a clear message. Reading a little bit about Genghis Khan and the Mongolian Empire would take out the "speechless" mode.

To me it was the first song of The Hu. I'm into throad singing anyway. Heard stuff like buddhism monks do 10 hours of throad singing and I knew even Mongolians do it. But The Hu's metal version seemed to me next level. I was baffled and loved their way. And I too didn't expect Jimmy Kimmel making music reactions. One of the best reactions to that song.
Yes it was Mongolian/tuvan throat singing you heard in the beginning. There is 3 styles to, what you hear in the beginning and end is Kargyyraa, the deep sound. Then you have Khoomei a lighter sound, and at last is the Sygyt style also known as whistling sounds
I'm so glad you found this group. The HU is amazing. Please check out some of their songs. They did a remake of Metallica's Sad But True. They have also had a few singers step in like Serj Tankian, Jacoby from Papa Roach and Lizzy Hale from Halestorm. Welcome to the Asian Culture. There is much to explore
Welcome aboard the HU train! Try out Sugan Essena, Wolf Totem, Song of Women and Mother Nature with LP. You really can’t go wrong whichever you choose!
They are amazing. Gets my testosterone going....and I'm a woman🤣 Love that the traditional throat singing and instruments and Mongolian culture mixes with the contemporary rock and metal vibes. The horse people of Chinggis Khan ride. Outstanding stuff.
Love The HU. Surprising amount of BTS fans like them. Just Rammstein now & you've gone through my playlists. If you like throat singing you should check out Bukhchuluun Ganburged - Mother & Father is one of the most moving pieces of music I've ever heard
As a Mongolian I love and respect THE HU tremendously. Due to their rise to stardom many young kids and adults started to learn traditional instruments and traditions which is one of the greatest achievements they've made. Thank you for reacting and loving their song.
Oh my god that's so amazing!!! Hearing that the Hu have inspired the younger generation to embrace their heritage is absolutely heart warming.
I do throat singing as a hobby, inspired by these guys.
I'm agree with you 🤘
Ancient poetry…. They showed the 4 corners of the Gobi Desert
Five thumbs up.
The Hu is proof that old school and new school can exist side by side and together can make something that surpasses both.
The HU - Wolf Totem is also very awesome.
WHAT A HAPPY SURPRISE!! You found the Hu! These guys are beyond phenomenal and their stage presence is INSANE! I've been blessed to see them 4 times. They are also big teddy bears off stage ♡
Nice!! Got to see them once in D.C. at a small venue right before covid shut everything down, and again in Philly a year ago, phenomenal live group.
Oh and btw, they are all classically trained musicians at what is like the Mongolian version of Julliard.
They traveled all over Mongolia for two weeks to shoot their own video for this song. I think they did a terrific job. Loved seeing the country too. They're just a fabulous group, especially live. They get better and better each year.
Wow....he made the sound of a horse with his instrument! 8:16 So cool.😎 Roscoe, you will probably love Wolf Totem too.

Mimicking a horse with it is considered something of a right of passage from what I've been told.
Throat singing and hard rock were meant for eachother.
Some years ago I used this music to scared away some drug seller in front of my kindergarten. They never came back. 😂
The guitars are amazing. Beautiful craftsmanship.
Omg.... 이 노래를 찾아내시다니....
수년 전부터 나를 푹 빠지게 만들었던 기가 막힌 밴드인데....
