Good day, Pete and Carol! Yes, watched your jeep backed out at 14:19 and was wondering, indeed, why no coffee-making scene like usual. You let us know soon after 😎 Have a great and safe trip, you two!
I'v e been traveling for several months and have missed a number of your vlogs. Glad to catch this one. Brought back good memories of vacations in the Badlands with my family as a kid. Cheers-
Just found you guys I've been purging videos. Thank you for this beautiful drive today. Im in NE Ga now,my home town. We are retired military and U.P. was our favorite place. We drove to wis, Iowa,mn,N.D. it was beautiful. Thank you for the ride.
My family is from upper Michigan. I dream of going back and putting my feet in the sandy beach of Lake Superior in Marquette. Love your travel adventures, as always
Hallo Peter and Carol, my name is Rudolf. I am so glad that I found your videos only a few weeks ago on RUclips! I am a 70y old M:D. living in the South of Germany . In the 80´s I enjoyed sharing my passion with with my American Wife, first US then Centralamerica, later northern and central Africa with a truck. At present building my expedition truck on the basis of a FordRanger pickup plus a trailer . Next trip planned for 2024 to Eastern Europe. Now that it's possible to use RUclips to share ones joy with others , we can communicate this. You are doing it in a wonderful way! Thanks for your efforts you have you have put in into your videoprojekt. It's a gift for so many! Keep safe and healthy, yours Rudolf
Just discovered your channel 2 days ago and have absolutely fallen in love with you all as a family. We love what you are doing with your family and the values you are teaching them! Blessings!
I am really an RV RUclips junkie and how is it that I just found you today? Crazy. I watched the year living at the cabin then this. What a great family. Thanks for sharing. I keep telling my family that they need to have a RUclips channel. I am way too camera shy. I just need to find a way to pay the way and I would be taking those amazing adventures. I did subscribe so hopefully it will let me know when you upload.
I welcome you from Polish. I act a little differently now. I write down all the geographical names you mention when discussing your trip and immediately check Google where it is. In this way I "lighten" my gray cells geographically. Thank you for that.
Hi guys. 'Not enough room here to say all the good things about your family and adventures. We MAY have missed a video since just before New Zealand but 'can't picture that having happened! We did, however, try for the second time to get information on your EFRT knife but have not had a reply via e-mail from the address provided. 'Sure would like some info on that knife. Seeing Carol's knife got me on the "case" again! We ALWAYS have Sunday breakfast with you all; thanks for the weekly "lift"! 'Wish we could make Loveland and meet you, especially since we're in western Colrado.
Thank you for your comment and sorry about the slow response. The company we were working with to make the knife had supply chain issues, trying to get steel and ended up stopping production on that knife for the past few years. I will try and get a hold of them to see if they’re back in operation. Thank you for your patience.
My husband and I just found out about you and your family! Wow! You're an inspiration!! We can't stop watching :) Thank you, folks for sharing your adventures!!
So good to see you back on the road! I know y’all were anxious to get your trailer and head out. We love that area of the country. Pray you have a great time. God bless you with His, peace, comfort and safety.
Awesome video as always Epic Family Road Trip. This was a awesome adventure can't wait for the next adventure. When Pete opened up the garage door and it was Peter and Dan's adventure bikes got me thinking about the awesome adventure they'll have driving to and around Alaska.
There was so many scenes where I expected Lando to come running on to the screen 😃 With the kids all going different directions and no Londo, it almost seems like the end of a very special era ☹
Just makes me wanna get out on the road with my family when our little one’s a little older, I’ve spent a lot of time out in that area and being from the heart of the Midwest (Chicago area), it’s like a whole different world, love it! You don’t realize how much you accumulate in your camp and adventure gear until you tear it all down! Be safe out there and enjoy the peace and time with each other!
Glad you overall are having a good trip. I'm watching this video after your latest video dropped, where you had problems with your fuel pump. It was neat to seeing you (very briefly) in passing on M-28 near Shingleton. Safe travels on the rest of your Epic Road Trip!
Your videos are so special, I always feel like I’m almost right there experiencing it with you! We are praying for your safety as you travel, and for those in Canada that are being forced to leave their homes do to fire. Thank you again for sharing your passion and your Joy…
Great to see the backroads - my father always encouraged me to skip the interstates and savor the journey. Glad you loved Munising. Marquette is also nice. We’re improving our forest land due south of there on the Stonington Peninsula. You guys have provided many inspirations to our family and have greatly enhanced our adventures!
Then you need to read "Blue Highways" by William Least Heat Moon. The whole story is him traveling the byways. Major Highways used to be printed in blue on maps but when they changed them to red he followed the old roads, which were now in Blue. It was a cult classic back in the 70's but is still a great read. I give copies to lots of friends.
I really enjoy the less formulaic and edited content. Speaking for myself, I don't come to youtube to have a "netflix style" production. I want to see the rough, barely edited content. It's what makes content like this enjoyable. Keep up the great work. And please, don't ever over dramatize and produce your vids. They are perfect, just like this!!!!
Glad you guys are doing well and back on the road Carol and Peter.... Its kinda weird not seeing Lando with you guys!! Hope you guys and the family are doing well, its been a busy year for us we have a lot of episodes to catch up on. LOL Say Hi to Pete, Dan and Caroline for us.
Ha! You drove through my hometown of Superior Wisconsin! Fun to see. And when Carol said, "I love North Dakota," I laughed out loud! Have to love prairie land and wind!
I didn’t want this episode to end after being in North Dakota this year it made me want to go back and discover more of the state. Happy traveling. Looking forward to the next episode for sure
This video gave me the extreme urge to get out on a road trip! The music was perfect too! We missed Lando so we went to Dans channel to see him. Thank you!
What a fantastic video. I've never been out west, but son and family traveled all out there last year, heading to Yellowstone. They loved the badlands too. Take care traveling folks. Looking forward to your next video.
That law about not filming in the National Parks really sucks. Last month I had to stop my cameras as we entered the North Rim in the Tooweap area. The stars there were amazing.
The badlands are such a cool area to visit, I would love to go back and explore that area some more. It is great to see you guys back in the States! Hope you have an awesome time here and look forward to future videos. ps. Spotted a nice patch on that headliner! 👍
Just found your videos for the first tonight! Really enjoying them! I don't know where you are originally from or where you call "home base" but I am in the Thousand Island's region on the Ontario, Canada side! Come visit this area sometime -- it is also a beautiful area! 🤗💜
Originally from the Caledon/Orangeville area. The thousand islands region is beautiful, my brother has a place there. We are glad you found our channel. Have a wonderful day.
Fun episode for us since you zipped right through our neck of the woods in Minnesota and we loved seeing some new camping spots in the Michigan and North Dakota areas! Safe travels!!!!
Great to see you back on the road. We just left Ottawa in the very same direction on July 30 (through UMP, Badlands, Custer SP, to East of Yellowstone (US 212) we are now headed south to dinosaur NM.... Safe travels and thank you for sharing your exploits.
Another enjoyable episode, although there is A very empty feeling about the empty nest edition, although it is inevitable. Note being from the US or Canada, it would be nice to see a little more of the small towns you pass through / coffee at. Channels like yours are a great way to see the real country.
I know other RUclipsrs that I watch that stopped going to National Parks in the US because they were not able to film. They received a fine. But, because of a court battle between someone else, the judge deemed it "constitutionally wrong" to deny people to film. Not like a film crew, but able to carry a camera and a tripod to shoot. They have now begun to film in national parks again. Just an FYI.
It feels very strange not having Lando there with you, but he will be happy with Dan & later Peter. Wish you all the best for your Journey, stay safe, hope you won't run into any fires. 3:59
Can you tell me what tires you would recommend based on your travel experience with different terrain? I have a Wrangler as well with Nitto Mud tires and I don't think they would do well living out of the Jeep full-time. Thank you and safe travels!
I wish I’d known you were co I g through MN… we have a newer route up north that spans from east to west along the north end and touches very little pavement. The MN border to border trail.
It's emotional leaving your youngest behind, and Londo. However, good to see you on the road, again!
HEY! Good morning everybody and thumbs UP to EFRT! 👍👍
2/23/24 - Such a wonderful caring family! I have 3 sons & know exactly how you feel.
Thank you 🙏🏻
Thank you! The scenery is so beautiful.
Carol you are a superstar. Love all your interaction with the videos!

You’re in for a treat! Go back and watch their previous years, ♥️ this family!
I just started watching today’s episode and I started to cry when you left Dan and Lando behind. I know how you both must be feeling. 🥹🥹

I'm from Fargo, I know and have been almost everywhere you guys went, esp. Buffalo State Park and the western part of North Dakota.
From Wisconsin here. Cool to see you travel a bit through my Overlanding playground in the UP and northern Wisconsin!! Love all the content!
Como siempre emocionante los paisajes , ya esperando el siguiente video
❤️

Yes it's definitely different. We should all be back together in a month or so. 👍🏻
Great to see you two back on the road safe travels Can’t wait to see what adventures Dan and Pete Jr and Lando have planned
It's a bittersweet day when your babies are old enough to fly by themselves.
Just makes me wanna get out on the road with my family when our little one’s a little older, I’ve spent a lot of time out in that area and being from the heart of the Midwest (Chicago area), it’s like a whole different world, love it! Good to see Worsley is back on the road and running properly
The town for breakfast looked like Munising, I lived in the UP for many years-visiting there right now. Love your adventure podcast!!
Yes it was Munising. Beautiful place! Thanks for watching!
Glad you are getting back on the road. Stay safe and keep the videos coming. God bless!
Thank you!

We just got back from vacation in the UP and had a blast. We stayed just outside Munising. So much to do and see
That law about not filming in the National Parks really sucks. Last month I had to stop my cameras as we entered the North Rim in the Tooweap area. The stars there were amazing.
Why are you not allowed to film in parks

Foto profil nya berubah. Saya kira channel berbeda. Sehat selalu buat kalian sekeluarga ... Salam from indonesia ...
I like watching your video. If i came Canada I will definitely meet with you.
Greetings from Holland, but you need to invest in some microphones for better sound while travelling.❤
Working on it!
I think we need to rename the Jeep "Bandit" to go along with the long way to go, short time to get there! :)
Into a land with very few Tim Horton's? Are you mad!
stunning
Can you tell me what tires you would recommend based on your travel experience with different terrain? I have a Wrangler as well with Nitto Mud tires and I don't think they would do well living out of the Jeep full-time. Thank you and safe travels!
We currently have General Tire, Grabber, X3s on, and they work amazing. We also like the TOYO Open Country tires.
Hope that helps.
If you want to tell me that was a lake I would have thought it was the sea being from the UK we don't get nothing like that good luck in your journey
he s having a party lol
I wish I’d known you were co I g through MN… we have a newer route up north that spans from east to west along the north end and touches very little pavement. The MN border to border trail.
