Omgoodness Rossmonster is the perfect “squishing” a capable 4x4 truck with a cabin - its ingenious using actuators to slide the roof up and down whilst having 4 solid sides!!! That’s perfect! Traditional Truck campers with solid walls tend to be too tall and thus abit top heavy and restrictive in going under bridges and gnarly trails - the ones with the tent sides was a good solution to keeping the height adjustable but this vehicle has solved the problem properly! The way it’s shaped too is perfect for going on trails. Excellent design - totally want one now!
Pete as you stood on the edge of the cliff i could only imagine being awe struck of the power of creation being formed. The groaning of the peaks and valley's yet the soothing sound of babbling stream to the roar of the ocean with the white foam at our feet.The Awesomeness of our Amazing God.

Another great video. I will definitely have to go to the Gooseneck area! As a Ford retiree, I have to say I’m happy with your choice of truck. It’s pretty hard to beat the SuperDuty platform to use as the base for a build. I hope that truck gives you many trouble free miles as all of my Ford trucks have given me.

Hi Pete and family! I've been a subscriber of your channel forever, it seems. Today is the first time that I am disappointed. - I started 'overlanding' in 1991. The spot that you camped at overlooking the goose necks has been my/our 'secret spot' since then. I learnt about it from a friend in 1991. And I think it is absolutely fine and good to tell a friend about it - but PLEASE do not advertise these wonderful spots on the internet! Those spots might be crowded and lost after that. Let people explore. Isn't that part of the satisfaction of overlanding!! - Take care and enjoy your journeys! H aka HvE

Congratulations on your new vehicle. Regarding the broken drone propeller, you can fix the parts together with superglue and bicarb. Sand down and it’s good to go until you get replacements. Safe travels.

Great new rig. Not sure how well it will do on shelf roads but you still have the jeep for that or add a couple more motorcycles to your growing fleet.. Coming from a Ford Diesel Tech (For 40 years) Make sure you replace the Fuel Filters with Motorcraft Filters every 20K Miles. Very nice set up guys!

I lived in Kayenta for 30 years and miss it terribly. We loved the goosenecks and exploring Cedar Mesa and visiting the bears ears. Thanks for sharing, brought back lots of off-road memories! The locals term for tourists standing in the road by Monument Valley is terrorists… they were oblivious to traffic.
My thought - would like to see the new vehicle next to one of your jeeps for height comparison. :) Also, now you have 2 jeeps and 1 RV to let your kids pick from! :)

Beautiful camper wish you great offloading trips. I am a Edmonton boy, have been camping since 2003. Not going out a lot because of age (74 years) and health issues. Epic family is my favorite watch. I hope your Baja will keep you warm in Canadian winters. Good luck

Oh my goodness. Congratulations on your new rig. Personally, it’s not something I would like. But, hey I don’t have to live/travel in it. There were so many amazing off road vehicles you could have a chosen? Simply love your taste in the cabin, Jeeps, and Winnebago’s. But not this.
On a truly positive note, you have four sorta walls and you’re inside when you get up in the morning.and most importantly a potty!

The rig looks good. The only problem is a ford. Now the idea of the rear camper is very Good. But for me your jeeps still the star of your channel.

Very nice set up; my wife and I switch from our roof top tent on our truck to a pop up camper as well this year. We enjoyed the comfort during our late fall western trip as well. Look forward to seeing more of adventures.

I was at the Gooseneck last Feb 2023 and the winds where 60 mph+. We couldn't do much. Plus it was about 10 degrees.
Oh My Gosh! Talk about the best of both worlds! A "cozy home" on wheels, Capable wheels for sure.
