At point 8:30, there is a very telling comparison. Two vehicles, two driver door closings, a Jeep, an f-350. Remarkable the difference. As a former f-350 owner, it brought back fond memories of a truck well built. No complaints mind you, with my current, beloved Tundra, but it was quite a telling contrast.

I grew up in El Cajon. I remember in the early '70s going out to the oyster beds in that area via a flat fender '50s jeep with friends. Of course back then, travel was wide open and cross-country travel was the norm. It was sure fun. Glad BLM has at least provided designated trails back to that area.

There are great things in California. We have one of the most beautiful rivers in the western United States that has remained undammed, a river that has never been dammed, the Smith River. Also a river recently undammed after 100 years of oppression. The Klamath just blasted one damn, a first of four to be removed. There are awesome stories to be told here and now. Indigenous communities are still here. " YOU ARE ON INDIAN LAND " is an actual thing.

Brad , South Carolina has lots to do. We have the ocean on the coast and mountains on the north west. Rivers for fly fishing and white water rafting. Fresh water lakes, hiking trails, golf courses everywhere. Not to mention the Appalachian Trail. The weather is great for gardening. We have beautiful State Parks with full hookups camp sites and primitive sites. I love the West Coast too. Lived in Arizona and have friends all over the west. As an Air Force veteran, I’ve traveled Europe and Asia and loved every place I’ve ben. The timing and situations were not always the best. Love all your videos and travels. It’s also good to see all of you together again. We’re blessed to live in this beautiful country with our freedom to move around.

If you don’t mind, I’m gonna give y’all a recipe quick and easy for supper ……. Get some ground beef and brown it in a pan put whatever seasoning you want to in it then put barbecue sauce in it. Stir it all together and get you some canned biscuits smaller canned biscuits and a muffin pan. Put the canned biscuit down in the muffin pan, then place your barbecue ground beef on top of the biscuit and then put cheese on top of that and put it in the oven and cook it until the biscuit is done, oh my goodness we call them barbecue cups you should try them
