That bit on being a useless person 9/10 times, but possessing niche knowledge about something is super relatable. I've had many moments where I said "aww you should've asked me about that" and feel a sense of failure for not educating or warning them before they get ripped-off.

please don’t ever stop reviewing the quality, this is one of the best parts about your videos unlike others who just show the shoe but never talk about the materials or anything! i can kinda tell and get an idea already just by looking at the stock photos but it’s always great to see it in person too like you said but great review like always! keep it up!

And the leather is better than the off white UNLVs & these are going under $100 but I don’t buy shoes off StockX I feel much better if I don’t get them from Nike or a foot traffic site that way I know I’d rather not have a shoe and know that it’s real when I do then have a shoe and not know I don’t trust StockX I don’t trust goat. I don’t trust any of them eBay a little bit, but for older things.
* I bought these becaus 11:19 e I love the color way, and I like ultra man I had them way back in the day but I wasn’t gonna pay $135 for these until Chris’s review.

I did that mistake… And got it cover with a irezumi sleeve. So I’m good now! It’s probably the easiest mistake tattoo to cover up!

For me my favorite tattoo is the one I have of a Bear Paw on the back of my left calf. It was the first tattoo I ever got and I buddy of mine did it for me. It came out amazing and I get comments/complements on it all the time.
The tattoo I regret is the 2nd one I got, it was supposed to be a full sleeve on my left arm of a dragon wrapping around it. I got it started and payed the full price up front, the guy who did it was a friend of a friend. It started off really great but after the third session the quality started dropping and the guy started becoming very flaky. Then when I was supposed to go in for my 4th session to touch up/finish stuff from the previous session, he was drunk off his ass and depressed because his girl just left him. So I canceled the appointment and never followed up to get the next one scheduled. I ended up moving to a different state for work so I never got the tattoo finished even though it was fully payed for.... I plan to get something else done and cover it up but just haven't decided on what yet(it's been 12 years...)

Once again you guys have made my day! I love how real you are . I'm just getting into buying shoes I used to work for Nike and their quality is suspect. My favorite tattoo is the one I got last week . I got it after I watched the Bray wyatt documentary. It's his face half Bray half Fiend . It's just an awesome tat my artist recommended I put on my right shoulder and chest.
I am still a blank canvas so I guess I only have regrets for tats I’ve never gotten. But I don’t regret that because I now feel even more bad ass being clean vs. someone that’s tatted up.

My fav tattoo is a Hannya on my Shin. As for tattoo regret I don't regret one particular tattoo but I kinda regret getting basically my whole left forearm covered in Black and Grey traditional before deciding I want to go for color traditional instead. The pieces themselves are still dope though

Oh the nonsense doesn't stop at the resale shops. The big box stores in my area overcharge for basic models and people pay cause they're nikes. The shoe industry profits heavily on hype and ingrorance that's why I love this channel so much. Please never stop talking about materials

One of my all time favorites, I'll cop two pairs of these
I prefer this "reverse ultraman" colorway compared to the untraman release few years ago. It is way more easier on my eye due to more grey forward around the shoe. The original one appeard too red forward so it was dated looking to me. This latest release reversed the grey with the red, so it is way more versatile matching with wider color choices of pants.
You can usually tell by price point if the shoe is going to have better quality leather. These, the reverse Curry's, Brazils, etc release for around $125-$135 while your crappy Panda pairs will release for about $115. The quality between the two "types" of shoes is VERY noticable. The Reverse Curry's are crazy low right now. While I don't think these will go that low, I can hope. Both are awesome!
No tattoos for me! Almost got a big old Harry Potter idea of a tattoo at one point, but never pulled the trigger.
I copped two pairs on goat for 103 each. Amazing quality I really feel like Nike tried with this re-release compared to something like the argon dunk lows. I wish they would re-do the argon’s if they did I’d have 3 pairs instead of 1.

I kind of hate the argument about re-releases ruining the value of a shoe. First, the value of a pair of shoes should come from the enjoyment of wearing that shoe. Secondly, if you are worried about the monetary value, it shouldn't be affected, because the original is the ORIGINAL. Would you rather have the actual Action Comics #1 or a reprint from the 80s? Or an original Star Wars figure or a re-release from the 90s? The original is always going to be more valuable, so stop hating and let new people enjoy the ability to grab a piece of the legacy and create their own memories.

The flash tattoo regret is relatable. I got a flash piece of a skull smack dab in the middle of my right forearm and consequently ruined my chances of getting a half sleeve there

I go half size up on ALL dunks, SB or not. Size 10 in Aj1, size 10.5 in any dunk. I'm literally like a 10.25, so it's always a struggle for me, even between same silhouettes with different materials.

back then in 2020 when red and grey released i remember when i couldnt get it and dont wanna pay resale. but i really want red and grey dunk combo and i almost get this in a not bad condition but apprently fake. now they are sitting but im not that excite anymore

Al B Sure Gang! I might have to pick these up. My Ultramar's (the silver/red that was shown) are separating and yellowing pretty bad. Also, the rubber sole is getting hard. No tats on my body, just regrettable scars from being injured.

When the brazil dunks were reviewed recently they were shown to have decent leather but all I saw in stores were the plastic pleather versions so if this is the case with these I really couldnt care less about it

i'm sure its been said by many before, but i'm a 9.5 in nike with the exception of dunks. i go down a half size in both the highs and lows. might even be able to go a full size down, but it's just too risky
The only Low Dunks I’ve ever liked were the ones I had back in 2006. They were 3M and maroon and I’d pay top dollar if they were rereleased.
I like that they are bringing back og colorways. 2nd chance at them.

Rather than dunks I’d really like to see the Steve Nash era cradle rocks as a protro. Something that is similarly styled but actually performance oriented for greater comfort.
My only 2 tattoos could be regretable. my first is on my arm and its a microphone and my initals because I made music at the time. I went to go get it done at a guy's house and I told him I didn't want to see it before he started so he could surprise me after. I showed him a reference pic I made in PS and he free-handed it and destroyed it. smh. I don't think I will cover it because of what you said because I see it as a time in my life and a good story to tell on what not to do. lol

Funny you say that about your brother. It's so true. My little Bro owns a legit boutique and I have witnessed people 1. ask if the shoes are fake because of the retail pricing, and 2. say "I know the tag says $X, but how much are YOU charging for them?" Like they have no idea how regular stores work. Absolutely blows my mind.
