"Respectfully, it seems the reviewer may be underestimating the professionalism of the Sony A7CII. Contrary to the suggestion of having less dynamic range compared to the A7IV, experts like Gerald Undone have highlighted its capabilities. Exploring these aspects further could provide a more accurate portrayal of its strengths.

Due to Sony’s new AI chip gives these cameras improved & the best skin tones because of better AWB. These bodies are the a7RV, ZV-E1, a7cii, a7cr and new a9iii. I agonized over the same issue! Had the A7Siii and the original A7c as my B camera for a year. All good except that big camera is 10 bit and the a7C is only 8 bit and missing the front aperture dial, so I took the plunge and got the A7cii to get those 2 things as well as a newer faster processor, 33mp and the new AI chip and super glad I upgraded as it is a great hybrid camera. It more closely matches my A7Siii on 2 camera shoots and it doesn’t overheat! Almost got the a6700 but wanted to stay FF obviously and that model also has overheating issues on long-form 4K video

You can design a camera with ten memory card slots. Number of memory card slots does not make a camera, professional. Profession lies in the photographer, not the camera. Sony is not in the business of making all the cameras to suite you. Find one that suits your need and go for it. Cameras are made for different use cases and different customer financial situation. I wonder why many youtubers want a 500Dollar cam to have features of a 5000usd cam. You want a small rav4 car but still you say its not professional because it cant carry 20 people, cant go 300mph, doesnt have 4WD. If your aim is to review this camera, start by telling who and for what is it made for. Then go to the features. Dont tell us this is not a pro camera. At least visit Sony design hq and do a research about why a particular model of camera is the way it is. I ddnt mean to speak ill, however your video is infoemative but kindly work on this issue if you have seen a point. I am your proud subscriber.

Thank you for the video. While not having two card slots or as good of a EVF as the A7IV you are the first reviewer who claims the dynamic range and colors of the A7CII are really different from the A7IV. I’ve owned both and I also do not see that. The other differences of the single curtain vs dual curtain mechanical shutter and 1/4000 vs 1/8000 shutter impact my stills shooting more than color difference or dynamic range. For me it’s a second or third camera and its small size is its best feature for travel. I use it along side my A1 and A7RV and I’m very happy with what it provides for stills work. Take care.

So I liked the video but I think you're focusing too much on it not being 'pro'. As a professional photographer, I've picked one up recently and any commercial client work I shoot is all done tethered, so while it records to the only 1 SD it's also recording to my laptop. I appreciate you can't do that for a wedding but to say it's not a professional camera I think is maybe not looking deeper than an initial look and the general first glance most people see of it.

Is Sam Holland serious. He says he knows Sony Cameras and complains of the skin tones. Everyone knows to use S-Cinetone.

No Cinema camera has 2 card slots, give your heads a wobble. Not a professional camera? I've never had a card fail on cinema cameras or hybrids

This camera is overpriced at $2198 U.S. I'm sure the A7V when released will be around $2498 like the A7IV is currently. Personally I'd wait for the A7V if you can.
