It’s time for another medley - this time from a living legend and one of the queens (or should I say kings?) of American pop music - Carole King. Without her, Divas like Aretha Franklin would have nothing to sing. Bands like Herman’s Hermits would have nothing to play. She helped make others famous, and in so doing became famous herself. Her music has touched many generations, no doubt having been played in countless bedrooms, at many a bar-mitzvah, and has lent itself to many a motion picture. It’s no surprise one of the most popular current Broadway musicals (which I have yet to see) features Carole’s life and music. Anyway, hope you like the medley!

Carole King, James Taylor and Carley Simon were my favorites as a teen. Tapestry was such a great album!
Carole King songs are so masterfully written, and the tempo is so right for piano. Thanks; sounds great, masterfully played! I play this as background music in my apartment.
Carol King had one of those talents for song writing that can produce real classic, straight down the middle originals. You have to really Be someone to do that. Much appreciated.

It so wonderful to hear you play. Every time I am in real trouble of too many things to be done - I just stop working and go to relax for a while, and once and a while with a beautiful song played by you.
And still, my most beloved song, is yours.
My daughter is meanwhile also playing piano and so we are already to here at home (she is already better then me) two people enjoying those wonderful instrument.

Im amazed, this is so beautiful, really. I would like to have the sheet for playing a little part of the medley in a competition, but I understand it's complicated :(
Sunday afternoon in 2022 cooking in the kitchen. This medley came up on RUclips. Don’t know if you’re still following your channel or not. I enjoyed the medley quite a bit I have a criticism of course and that is maybe it’s just the way it recorded it sounds very loud and harsh. I don’t think the problem is with you your style or you’re playing it’s either your recording equipment or the piano itself. Maybe a slightly larger more mellow piano might be suited to Carol King. I know the Stahelin pianos today its owner shrill that’s what I think of modern Steinways Etc.see anyway I certainly enjoyed your medley because Most people are forgotten that Carol - dashed off on her way to a mah jong game,”Will you Still Love Me Tomorrow.@. Her husband Cherry came in about 10 o’clock saw the sheet music and wrote the words and the rest is history. They also forget that she also gave us locomotion and that little Eva was actually working for her is a cleaner and babysitter. I could go on but won’t. Thanks for keeping your musical life and get yourself more mellow piano you deserve it.

Hi. I do feel the same. Great playing as always but something is different to the audio. Probably another way of recording or as you've said a litte bit out of tune.
