So, even though they're not from my generation, I became hooked on Carpenters music early on when my first grade music teacher had us sing bless the beasts and the children at an elementary school music recital. You should be very glad I'm not singing now. Anyway, in order, the songs are:

This is beautiful. I have always loved the Carpenters. Karen's voice was chilling- she was the reason I began singing at such a young age. Very well done.

Piano Doc - I found you while searching for piano solos for a Christmas program at church. I have been playing piano by ear since I was 4 years old. The style and logistics you use in your versions of these songs is phenomenal! It is obvious that your music is "unwritten" and comes from your soul. If 82 is the year you were born….I am 11 years older than you. Our taste is music is nearly identical….my son was amazed that someone else other than me plays the training montage from Rocky 4! Thank you for all you share. Keep the music coming and I hope you reach the stars with your God given talent! Never forget who gave you the ability to do what you do! PS - I love the white Yamaha….I have a black Yamaha digital grand….would love to someday own one like yours!! Thanks for sharing your gift

9 years later this still rad. Just wanted you to know that I play this to my mom at least twice a week, she has early dementia at 66. This always makes her day. So post something new!

My first memory of The Carpenters was when I sang "Sing" in chorus at elementary school. My Dad also played their records from time to time. I've always thought Karen Carpenter has one of the most beautiful voices.

I love the Carpentersn and I also love your Medley. You are really a Talented Piano Player! I belive other Persons wish they could play like you! I only miss some Songs. I know that you cannot play every Song of them. If I would have to choose the List of Songs it would be pretty much almost like yours, not particular in this Order:

I know I’m a little late to the party here, but just found this while searching for Carpenters piano covers. My word! Utter beauty. Where have you been all my life! You are seriously way ahead of your time, phenomenally talented! I’m an extreme fan of the Carpenters, a lifelong admirer of their music. I’ve never heard anyone, besides Richard Carpenter himself, of course, play their music so beautifully. I’d love to hear you play so many more of their songs. Do you take requests? :-)
