    Its unbeliveable how you have great tvs for a small price. Tvs in Brazil are very expensive compared to the salary.

      TV aqui é um roubo, TCL deveria ser marca mediana mas aqui uma mini led é considerada TV premium, e OLED e 8k então nem se fala

    I bought this in 85 in for a $2300 from Amazon over this prime days, I can't believe the price and quality of this Tv picture looks like a $5,000 TV.. from now I just only buy TCL TVS Best of the best piss on the rest🤟👍

    Yep! This TV is GREAT! I have the exact same one you do and am satisfied! And keep in mind, I’m coming from 8 years of OLED. Cost-wise, this TCL QM8 is the one to grab!
    Good review sir!
    Wait…the remote..you forgot to mention the motion activated backlight 😉 minor feature but super convenient and a nice touch.

    The problem is the bravia 9 is twice the price of this tv while its only a bit better, Sony is such a rip off.

    @johnb4905 Месяц назад +1

    I had the Bravia 7 briefly and when light hit it the right way you could see it was dirty with minor scuff marks throughout. I don’t see the external material quality on a Sony being any better than the QM8 and at least the panel is sealed from debris on the later. Yes, if I was going to keep the Sony I would have had to carefully wipe down the panel with a microfiber cloth.

    "Brightness control was a bit off" Rtings did say that gamma was elevated compared to the reference EOTF track, so this tracks with their findings.

    Hisense U8N vs 2024 TCL QM8…which is the best for sports and action movies and upscaling?

  • @OledBurnInKing

    Have you considered making a video on the hisense 10,000 nits 4k mini led tv? I have a samsung 65 inch curve qled 4k tv. I always use the the dynamic settings with hdr because I want to have the brightest settings with the most color saturation with the brightness settings maxed out and back light settings maxed out and the local dimming zone to the lowest settings since there is no option to turn off the local dimming. Otherwise I would turn off local dimming if there was an option. I intentionally make my tv as bright as possible on purpose because I'm already used to using very bright displays. I'm sitting as close as possible to my tv since I don't like sitting far away. I always have auto brightness always off and manual brightness cranked to the brightest settings possible on any display whether the display is from a smartphone, laptop, tablet, external display and a TV. I treat all the display settings all in the same way whether the display is oled and non oled. That's why I don't have an oled tv because it's guaranteed to have a burn in issues because I would intentionally make the tv have burn in issues since I would use a remote to turn off the safety features on oled displays to prevent burn in. I burn in oled displays like headphones that need burn in.

      Not really what I have learnt over the years, is without good processing all that is just extra brightness with no control. Not saying the hisense will be bad. Just saying processing is just as important

    Does thr QM8 hold a candle to the bravia 9?

    Hopefully you weren’t using tone mapping for those games, some people might like that brightness but it’s not creator intent HGIG so…

    • @paulcox2447
      @paulcox2447 9 дней назад

      most games hdr are lackluster at best. Good luck with "creators intent". Some of us like to use the processing and sheer capability of the TV we paid for.

    I'm glad that tcl still makes the battery removable on the tv remote. My 2017 samsung 65 inch curved qled 4k tv has access to the removable batteries. I don't want to throw away the remote when the non removable batteries degrade once they stopped holding a charge. I have rechargeable double a batteries that I use for my sony portable cassette player and my sony portable walkman disc man since I still use 2 sony portable devices. I just recharge my rechargeable batteries on an outlet and let the batteries charge until they are full. There is a possibility that the manufacturers discontinues and no longer makes a remote for the particular model for the tv. Universal remotes are overpriced just to be able to have basic features to use on the remote. With replaceable rechargeable batteries, they are more affordable than buying a new remote when the remote ends up being e-waste. Whenever I shop at places, there are boxes full of broken remote controls and even missing battery covers and these remotes are a mixture of the manufacturers remote controllers and universal remotes. With batteries, there are recycling centers and the old batteries can be used as a form of renewable products since electronics rely so much on batteries. The dead batteries can be reused again from the metals since there are machines to revive the metals from the batteries to make new batteries.

    • @esamafandi3022

      They will lose. Chinese unique selling points are in high specs with low price. They will never reach to the same sony-samsung prices as that will turn into brand competition which obviously the Chinese are going to loose.
