Really enjoy your reviews on this tv and the hisense u8n gaming is what sold me can't go wrong with either one thanks looking forward to future tv reviews man. 😎
Josh, can you tell me if the local contrast is turned off in game mode on the QM8 when VRR is turned on? If so, does gaming then look better on the U8N? If the Hisense looks better in game mode, then I may wait for the U9N. Thanks for you help!
Thank you I appreciate your donation. I will have to check on this with the QM8. But I will say, if I am being completely honest, the gaming experience on the U8N is a bit better due to more customization options. But I think if you are looking for an overall better TV that is not just for gaming then the qm8 is the way to go. It definitely performs better when just browsing through the TV.
@@Josh_Quinonez Thanks! I appreciate you getting back to me so quick. I ordered the QM8 and it is getting delivered Friday. I have been trying to decide if I should cancel the order and wait for the U9N. I also see the 85" QM8 is on sale now for $2,299 so I may cancel my 75" and get the 85".
I would wait for the UN9 if I went Hisense. That's what I was going to do before I bought the QM8. There are pros and cons to both TVs. I just chose the TCL route. If I had to go Hisense. Would definately take UN9.
@@gpt2010 Cool! I actually cancelled my QM8 order because.. I asked FOMO about it and he told me that the U9N will be superior to the QM8 because of the better processor and the ADS Pro panel. He said he is excited to get it because he has never reviewed a 75" ADS Pro tv before. He prefers it over VA. I really want the ADS Pro panel because it has a faster response time for gaming, which makes it super smooth for fast pace shooters! I have experienced ADS Pro before, and it was probably the most fun I had gaming over any of the VA panels I have had.

I would like the video especially since I own a QM8 too. Not sure why you didn't spend anytime calibrating it. The TV picture quality looks terrible from this video when you know a few tweaks can change that significantly.
It looks the way it does because I recorded this with my OnePlus 12 smartphone which doesn't provide the best video quality. But it was the only device I have that records at 60 fps to give a better idea of smoothness and performance. This video was to Showcase gaming performance an experience not the TV picture quality. But I am covering full picture quality in my full review coming up👍
If the colors aren't completely accurate on video it's the camera I was using. I had to use a phone I don't normally use to record because my other is not working at the moment.
You should calibrate it 1st, picture is washed out, at least your VRR is working fine, unlike my TCL Q7 / C745, it has a flickering and ghosting If VRR ON 😔
So what do you all think? Let me know!
Check Out TCL QM8 Here: amzn.to/4cEssAk
Great Video Josh!
Thanks Steve!

Thanks! Glad you liked them
Hi Josh, I’m trying to decide between the qm8 and the u8n, I see you’ve tested both, which do you think is better
Does picture quality drops in game mode
Can you confirm if the HDMI 2.1 120hz is 48 bandwidth on this tv?
Yea its is

Questi sono gli ultimi modelli tcl giusto? Sono superiori alle serie c60 c70 c80 ? Volevo acquistarne uno avendo una series x
What game is this and wow I really like the tv
I say the names of the games in the video 👍
what is the name of Qm8 in middle east plz
Probably C855 equivalent but it’s not as good
C845 , all the specs are the same and the design, only diff if a downgrade in the nits, but still best tv quality/price
@@jonathanibarrameza Not true, 845 is not as good as the 855 which is also not as good as the 851g.
@@TheMailerDaemonLives there's many issues with these TVs in my country some factory issues and the other after few days or months of using
Ummm why do the colors look so bad? Is it the camera or do you have it in vivid mode or something?
