This one is a REALLY interesting card. Prices are coming down a bit and this is a compact, "low" power & powerful card that you can get into your system.
Definitely eager to see how it performs against the 7800XT & 7900XT in the games I test.

Let's hope you test the 4070 Ti Super 16GB (aka the 2024 equivalent to 3080 10GB /6800XT 16GB), they could've called it 4080 LE (or the dozens of names on the pre-GTX Geforce era..). Because 4070 is only good with 16GB (the same as 4080), 4070 Ti Super is the best(or only needed) for gaming in 2024 (and to endure some years, 3 or 4 ar top level, for sure...).

I got my 4070 Super a couple weeks ago. I couldn't be happier with it. It's my first founders edition and it's my favorite box in my collection of PC part boxes.

Best entry level card for gaming (and other things) in 2024 for sure. Saving money in other area of the pc will not affect your FPS and image quality possible, as much as not buying a 4060/4060Ti class gpu named 4070... Curve Optimizer using NVIDIA overclocking scanner tech with MSI Afterburner will make you go even an step higher, and get almost 100% of your AD104 Silicon. You can totally get 4070 Ti FPS perfromance on the 4070 Super TDP power budget... for free and saving 65W (At max power) and hundreds of $/€ vs owning a 4070 Ti.

I have a 4070 TI Super in one Fractal Terra and one 4080 Super in another and they are truly amazing. Quiet, low temp and powerful. Much better than the 3090 in those terms in my other Fractal.

Beautiful Card. Got my 4070 Super last week. Asus Dual White OC. I love it. Overclocked it's getting 50-70fps in Cyberpunk with PT. 1440p DLSS Quality and Ray Reconstruction. 50fps in the more demanding outdoor areas. 70fps indoors. Only settings that are not max are Screen Space Reflections, set to high (no use for higher since I'm using PT). And I turn off Motion Blur, Chromatic Aberrations, Film Grain and Depth of Field. Then there is Frame Generation which gets to the 90-100+fps range. Also tried the game without DLSS but it turns of Ray Reconstruction and it looks way worse.

11:00 sweet a last epoch benchmark! I hope you include an endgame area into this with more monsters. From what I've seen (possibly there was some user error involved) it seems LE prefers Nvidia gpus over Radeon ones with similar specs. We shall see if you include those in future videos though!
Itching to upgrade from my 3060 ti but I think I'm waiting for next gen RDNA 4 or Blackwell offerings so I've got about a year left or so.
The funniest things is Nvidia is sending cards when Fabio has built his channel helping AMD users to fix AMD issues... come on AMD!
AMD already stepped up! They sent me a 7800XT to keep already and will get a 7900XT is one or two days as well! They also sent a 5700X3D to test (thing that I will do soon) :D

Amazing card, bought a rtx 4070 super inno3d twin a week ago. It boost to 2850 mhz, uses under 200 w (most times around 170 w) and performs twice as fast as my previous 2070 super. Never goes past 66 degrees core, 2 degrees cooler memory (64 max) and 15 degraes more hotspot (81). It's a bit noisy at around 80% fan speed but it's a dual fan card.
Can't believe i can play cyberpunk maxed with path tracing, dlss quality, frame gen, at 1440p and get 70+ fps, it's mindblowing.
(I'm latency sensitive but it's doable)
I hope that's dogtown driving FPS because only 70 with FG on is pretty terrible actually.
@@anitaremenarova6662 no it's not, it's base game fps, even in cherry blossom market, it's 70+ in worst cases and 85-90 most of the time. Also, cyberpunk has really good latency by itself so even 70 fps with frame gen look and feel good
yoyo Ancient, the last of us part 1 (PC) just added FSR3 + frame gen. with a small patch. maybe interesting to you :)

how would you compare it to the windforce 4070s you tested before in terms of performance, temperature, noice and quality? Again great review from you.
I tested the normal 4070 Windforce, not the 4070Super that has higher power draw. Overall the founder edition is a very good card and in terms of looks and quality is much over the Windforce. In terms of sound and temps are believe both are more or less on par, with the FE being slightly smaller

I would never buy a founders edition because they are either ugly or bad temps or loud fan noise. But this one was seriously nice. I love the black finish... and white led light. But hey... I should be quiet because I have a sweet 7700XT that works absolutely fine and no more spending money until 2 years. Cheers Fabio!

Recently bought this card(well the MSI Ventus 3x version) and I'm completely blown away! Every game I've tried at ultra settings, DLSS quality and frame generation gets 130+ FPS. Pretty sure it could go higher but my 1440p monitor caps out at 144hz. Even slightly older games like Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order and Monster Hunter World run so smooth and look amazing.
As much as I love amd cards for price to performance, I can’t deny that Nvidia cards often look way better aesthetically

Say what you want about Nvidia pricing, shady marketing, anti-competitive and anti-consumer practices. That horse has been beat to death and we all hate them for it. But they know how to make a Founder's Edition buyer feel special.
With AMD you usually _don't_ want their reference models, but with Nvidia the FE is one of the preferred ones and often fetch a higher price on the used market on that alone. I think part of it is that they look mature and not kid racer style like so many AIB cards do today.
Actually, the new AMD custom reference designs are also cool, not even close to what they were in the past

@@AncientGameplays I was speaking more to the fact they often have inferior cooling leading to poor overclocking vs AIBs, but yeah they're far better looking than they used to be.
@@slim420MM Only the pricing really effects _you_ as the consumer, after that you have a superior card with superior features. Besides, AMD is hardly innocent on all those counts as well.
Idk why anyone gets hyped about reference models, they're worse built than many partner cards and you can only get them for normal prices at launch.

People need to let that shit about bus width go... Bus width means nothing without the rest. Ada Lovelace cards (like RDNA2 and RDNA3) have equal or narrower bus width (take of the 7900 series) compared to the previous gen (ampere), but they have have faster VRAM and MUCH MORE l2 cache, which compensates in most cases
Nice1, good to see that you were sent this by Nvidia, maybe AMD will give your channel the recognition you deserve 🤞🏻 The 40×× cards have gotten a fair bit of stick, but I've been really happy with my 4070Ti Gaming X Trio, I wasn't sure if it would have the required performance but it does or comes close enough. I didn't fancy putting any more Wattage thru the 12VHPWR connection, so a 4080 was out of the question. A bit pricey but it's the perfect partner for my 21:9 OLED, The 4070 Super is (or should be) a more cost effective option with fairly close performance
How does it perform on the ultrawide? I'm leaning more towards 4070ti super due to the increased VRAM, 12GB failing in 4K already is pretty scary to see.
AMD is gladly sending me stuff now too. They sent me a 7800XT to stay (already retested some games) and a 7900XT will comes as well!
They also sent a 5700X3D for the current CPU tests I am making :D

Of course!
While this is undoubtedly an extremely efficient and really powerful card I still prefer the 4070 ti super. You can find partner models that are light and compact compared to the 4080 and it has 16GB VRAM meaning it's perfect to last several years past its warranty.
Yeah, the best point is 256bit/16GB VRAM versus the normal Ti

4080s consumes less power but it is still overall slower at 4K and sometimes 1440P. Although has usually the better upscaler and framegen works well in all titles

Wow, the 4060 Ti 12GB we'all hoped for!
Founders Edition gpus are well priced (for 2020-21 Scalper Cpu Era) 609€ (4070), 669€ (4070 Super), but what is better is to find if you search any hardware tracker for under MSRP ones low 600€ are to be found, the same as we have been seeing under MSRP 4070 in the 550€ whereabouts.
The only thing missing is a 7700xt price (or at least a 7800XT), NVIDIA needs to compete more agressively with AMD as they can't keep up with CGI software innovations or server... only cpus are unmatched in x64 (let's forget any ARM emulating x64 can beat any of them in OPS/W or OPS/GHz or IPC, x86/x64 are just a legacy and developer need too much 1978 technology comaptibility dragging...).

Biggest mistake of my life tryed out AMD, in my opinion. It can run good. But you need always and always tweak so much. So much life time of spending driver tweaks to get low Watt, low temp and high fps.

4070 Super is around 4070Ti level, which doesn't have many cards above it (4090 is super expensive), but has the 4070, 4060Ti, 4060 below it

I miss Nvidia,right now i have Amd Gpu and it feels like living in hell their gpus are ok but the drivers are really bad,next time im buying Nvidia and i will never look back again,this is the third time i am giving Amd a chance and every time i end up disappointed.

@@ilift350 im using rx 580 since it came out, no problem, brother is using 6700 xt like 2 year now, also no problem, its just that for amd u need everything to be up to date, drivers, chipset, and most of time its user fault, amd is more sensitive if u dont install drivers and rest properly, need clean installation, nvidia on other hand is less sensitive, my brother had 1050 ti before he upgraded and for like 4-5 years, he never did clean installation, only did if u count fresh window and he had no problem
