Why should it be positive? Blokes a drug cheat. Tried paying off a farmer, then ducked the klitschko rematch. Went off and did a load of gear. Fought tomato cans, ducked Usyk. Ducked Usyk again. Balloons up to a slob, gets knocked about by an MMA guy and now has got a convenient cut again, to duck Usyk once more.

It smells like delaying tactics from Fury. He's obviously not ready to fight Usyk. He's genuinely afraid of losing to him.

Exactly, it's not that he's afraid of Usyk, it's the reaction of losing to Usyk and having to live with it..he got the shock of his life against Ngannou, and knows anything less than 100% won't be enough.
Whether he can ever get to 100% is another thing.
He bs'd in that face off where he said he only needs 5 weeks training, then rants and raves that he trained for 10. He didn't even have Andy Lee there with him in camp, never mind Sugar Hill. I don't think he had any intention of fighting in 2 weeks and either he got the biggest stroke of luck he will ever get with that cut, or it was planned. It definitely didn't happen the day that he uploaded the pic because the swelling would have been way more and the stitching would have been fresh.

I don’t think he was feeling good at all about the fight being less than 2 weeks away and I honestly think he wanted a way out that would mean he can’t fight no matter what, and the only way for that is a cut. It even looks like a razor cut. It’s perfect. I don’t think Fury CAN get to 100% these days. I think he might try, but I really think he wasn’t feeling good enough (like in the past before fights) and we all know he’s terrified of losing a single fight. That’s his bragging rights for life gone. And there’s nothing more important to fury today than that ‘0’. He will literally do anything to keep that. So I’m sorry but I think it’s been done on purpose then they’ve quickly filmed that sparring clip.
If Joshua kept backing out of all these fights, you'd be hearing something very different coming out of Jordans trap!

Simon Jordan trying to get back in with Fury…Oliver’s already well in there. What they both don’t comprehend is that when a massive bully like Fury chooses not to fight a fighter who he might not beat with ease, that makes him a coward. Other fighters, particularly smaller guys like David Haye, Tony Bellew and the man himself USYK…are real fighters, courageous men who genuinely want to fight the best of the best. If it wasn’t for Fury and Wilder blocking up the division, Usyk would be undisputed already…possibly Joshua before him. Strip Fury and give “undisputed “ to the man who deserves it.

When Turki was being interviewed next to Tyson he said he's hoping to add another big fight to the postponed date and he seems like a big Wilder fan, still wants the AJ Wilder fight, was supposed to be Wilder v Zhang but became Parker v Zhang so I have a feeling that he's still pushing to get Wilder back in ring and that postponed date will probably suit Wilder who's undoubtedly still in shock at the Parker performance and has been figuring out if it was a bad night, or inactivity, or mentally done with boxing, or physically shot or his trainers etc.
Francis has been calling out Wilder recently and that Usyk fight falls about 3 months after the AJ v Francis fight. Could Turki possibly be trying to arrange Wilder v Francis on the Fury/Usyk card in May?

With Whittaker I think it comes down to a generational thing. My dad phoned me up during Ben's fight and said " I don't like this cocky one. I'm not going to watch much more if he carries on".
I'm in my forties and I'm not keen on fighters belittling guys with less talent also so although I accept Ben's gifted it's not for me at the moment. Go to the younger generation of teenagers and 20's and 30's age groups and I'd guess there are more who like Whittakers showboating than don't. One things for sure though. It's going to be fun watching Ben's career unfold and what he achieves.
