Definitely no judgement there! We have similar roads in some areas of Manitoba. Can go from clay that turns to pure grease with seemingly a drop of water to swamp mud here. Doesn't matter what the road conditions are though, if you feel you're not skilled enough, call for help instead of wrecking your ride. He made the right choice by calling Matt.
I was almost gonna say something about him deciding to call for help but he made the right choice i think. He knew he wasnt gonna be able to get it out so he made the right call. I worked for a tow company years ago, they had a giant semi sized wrecker, I always liked the recovery aspect, but there were alot of accidents that were difficult to work. Cattle trailer with 70 cows in it flipped on its side comes to mind, ive never seen so much blood and poop in my life. It was all over all the winch lines, tow ropes, straps, I have never felt that dirty ever. People not knowing their vehicles limits has led to alot more than body damage. This seems like a much more fun environment to work in. Wish I could go.

Mud, glorious mud. We have a lot of clay here in Arizona that turns to liquid snot when it rains. 0:50 Man, that water is so clear and the rocks underneath. You guys have such beautiful scenery out there. In the Midwest that'd be surrounded by brush and the bottom would be clay mud.

Darwin Barrett------Sometimes they cooperate on very difficult jobs , that are " messy" . They just did a video with Robbie Layton , of Layton Autobody , and Rory , with his Trail Mater , where they had to drive to Indianola , to rescue 3 vehicles . I have always been impressed with the filming and editing quality of this channel. I think, when others get involved, it throws off their filming flow and they end up with choppier editing as a result. I'm a fan of Robby, but they gotta learn how to edit out the fluff. Stay Warm, Be Safe
I still think you need to put a strap on the morvair tailgate so Lizzy can shut it easier
I love watching these guys! They seem so genuine and honest. Too bad they don’t come as far as Louisiana.
Yall are about to hit a milli. Nice work and keep on keeping on. Feel better matt.
I grew up driving in mud like that so what you were saying made perfect sense to me! I have learned a lot about driving in sand just from watching this channel. You guys are awesome!
Jaymie sure does well driving in adverse conditions. Matt I hope you are feeling better soon.
She can wheel for sure!
Plus, she’s great to look at.
Good call by the last guy. Know your limits and don't be afraid to ask for a little help when needed. Besides, body work is getting WAY too expensive these days.
In video advertisements always signal the beginning of the end of good youtube content. It's a sad day.
Im glad to see some paying sponsors. They deserve it
Your character is amazing Matt we need more of that in the world keep up the amazing work and videos
Matt's always teaching, always helping. You guys ROCK! Thank you all
" We're settled up..." The world needs more Matt's.
The drone footage on this recovery is fantastic! What beautiful scenery! Good investment, Matt.
So true Matt! I was brought up around banger racing on dirt, raced on dirt as a young’un then i built cars for guys who raced tarmac (look up uk banger racing, like derby but faster, harder n racier). Driving stuff thats bent or broke or on dirt is better than any skid or advanced driving bs. Love how the channel has grown, props to you all!!
👍🇬🇧👍
What about rallysport? They'll roll the car back on it's wheels after a crash and "press on regardless."
Gotta love a sport that dismisses a roll-over by saying "he had a moment."
This seems like a much more
fun environment to work in. Wish I could go.
Aw man, not ads!
since there was not a linc, was it really an ad or just a clever fun spoof, think about it.
@@rogerdunn5491 yeah you right 👍
I enjoy watching your videos and thanks for keeping it REAL and not scripted or a stagged reality show.
It may surprise a bunch of you but less than 50% of people when I've asked them couldn't explain or comprehend how ABS works. Matt, I knew you spoke actual LOGICAL truths!! You Sir, understand ABS and I'd deduce, ALSO the principals of TCS and DSC!!!
Hey MORR! I really like your videos. Was really surprised to see the "fishing ad". Gotta make ends meet somehow I guess...
Awesome video…….. but please lose the advertisement that has nothing to do with what your about. Maybe promote the kit and accessories that you believe in. In means more than a random add.
Please keep the channel real.
Loved it when Jamie, says at end, that was fun, we need to find more mud!
Mud, glorious mud. We have a lot of clay here in Arizona that turns to liquid snot when it rains.
Got caught in frog strangler downpour while driving back to Pleasant Valley and 4X just becomes useless and driving downhill becomes barely controlled chaos. I must have been putting on quite a show because the bull elk standing next to the road never moved as he watch me slip and slide by.
Matt you make me want to grow up and be able to help people and do what you did at the end. The world is lucky to have you.
Being poor can also make you learn how to drive a car that won't shift, or stop as expected, or having an engine that stalls in rush hour traffic, etc... Love these vids Matt and crew!
Being poor can do all that? Cool
@@carlt8188 Guess I was rich enough to have a car...
Great video, the videographers are excellently . This channel is so enjoyable anyone can watch any chapter they are so enjoyable. Good rescues everyone safe. Please take care yourselves thanks 😊
I enjoy your videos a lot, because of the interesting recoveries and your family and friend adventures. PLEASE DON'T RUIN THEM WITH ADVERTISING GAME CRAP, ETC! Just keep them in the link.
Thank You!
They gotta make money somehow
totally agree, how many people would download such game vs how many people would donate just to see the content, the same way they send cookies and things or donate for charity they would chip in.
I hear you I hate ads just as much as you do but he is pulling people out and not charging them and probably still paying the guys with him so to me that is pretty cool so I give him a pass
You are welcome to unsubscribe too
How hard is it to fast-forward through an ad if you don't want to see it? At least they made a funny segue into it.
Whiners. "I just want my free entertainment. How dare you inconvenience me for 30 seconds to make a living off of it!"
Kindness is contagious, hopefully other's see how kind Matt is and will pass it along to others in need.
This is one of those videos that needs an "after" shot of the MORRVAIR after that muddy recovery.
I would like a montage of it getting sprayed down.
0:50 Man, that water is so clear and the rocks underneath. You guys have such beautiful scenery out there. In the Midwest that'd be surrounded by brush and the bottom would be clay mud.
Noooooo! The one channel I thought I could count on for not selling out. But here we are.
Great as always, hope you all had fun at the 4x4 Jamboree, it looked like a great show.
As much as Matt is embracing the winch, I am starting to really like Kinetic ropes...I can see it's benefits!
You should buy at least 5 of them from Matt. They would look great in your vehicle.
You have a super beautiful smile Lizzy. Love how you are getting more camera time. Thanks for sharing this another outstanding recover (s)
MORR has always been one of my favorite channels, but I pay for RUclips Premium so I won't have to see commercials. Please don't spoil things with ads. Thanks.
since there was not a linc, was it really an ad or just a clever fun spoof, think about it.
Yes, premium here too. It was ironic though when I would see can am ads while Matt was rescuing a broken can am..
@@rogerdunn5491 maybe I need to develop a better sense of humor. It seemed like an ad. "Walks like a duck, talks like a duck, ..."
You may pay for premium but that doesn't make up for the fact that RUclips screws the content creators over. A quick 30 second ad you can skip past is worth dealing with to continue to get Matt's videos. Keep in mind, Matt has to pay his camera man, editor and additional support he may need to be able to provide these videos.
@@SketchyAsFunk I'm just trying to provide respectful, helpful input. My preference is to not be subjected to ads. I may watch videos with ads, but I'm less likely to watch, and I think that applies to many other people as well. I hope that input is helpful to Matt. i don't begrudge him the income. I'd prefer him to have a Patreon account or to simply list sponsors at the start of a video. Just my opinion. I hope it that is helpful.
Loved Jamie saying, that was fun, we need to find mud more often.
...I knew the promos would be coming sooner or later.
since there was not a linc, was it really an ad or just a clever fun spoof, think about it.
Man what a nice guy you are Matt. Made that guys night with a free shirt and a free rescue.
Matt, your videos always put a smile on my face.
Get well Soon Matt. Nice to see everyone out there working and helping. Please stay safe everyone. Jim
NO NO NO. Where is the skip ad button Trevor? No ads allowed. Good teaching Matt. Open a class and I'll enroll. Hope you feel better.
was it really an ad or just a clever fun spoof, since there was not a linc, think about it. Reminds me of the early SNL shows where they would do an ad and it took you half of it to realize it was all a spoof.
@@rogerdunn5491 Watch the end of the video. Sponsor, followed by discount, makes this an ad!
WOW, the poor Morrvair gets a serious mud bath with those large tires! I look forward to each of your posts.
Don’t be a sellout Matt!
Please no more annoying sponsorship ads
980 thousand subscribers outstanding Matt and crew and Lizzy as well as Rudy and everyone else involved and Matt wife as well hello Lizzy
I liked when you showed maps for where the rescues are
Aw heck.. I usually skip all the ad reads but now I'm gonna need Trevor to do more ad reads. Let him be creative with the tone, read the ad with falling down in the snow gusto!! Go Trevor! :D
You're such a hit, sponsors are interested in your work... that's when you know you arrived :) "We're settled up" that's pure class
Absolutely the best videos on the planet. Thank you all!
I hate to say this, but I really love the MORR only videos and I don’t know why. The confabs are good, but some of them seem somewhat chaotic. You guys are the best and I really appreciate riding along with you. Particularly liked the part with Jamie driving, just nonchalantly sliding along in the mud.. ❤️👍👍👍👍👍😎
Darwin Barrett------Sometimes they cooperate on very difficult jobs , that are " messy" . They just did a video with Robbie Layton , of Layton Autobody , and Rory , with his Trail Mater ,
where they had to drive to Indianola , to rescue 3 vehicles . It gave you an idea of all the different skill sets , and pieces of equipment , that are out there .
( I do understand where you are coming from . The group jobs are more stressful . )
I have always been impressed with the filming and editing quality of this channel.
I think, when others get involved, it throws off their filming flow and they end up with choppier editing as a result.
I'm a fan of Robby, but they gotta learn how to edit out the fluff. MORR videos have a great ratio of quality content vs video length. I don't skip through MORR videos, I always watch the whole thing. (well, until they placed a dumb fishing app ad in there. I skipped over that part right away)
@@williameddy1662 yes, that was an excellent group recovery and I understand the need to work with others. I got the impression that Robby was the one who asked for assistance on that one. MORR and Fab Rats teamwork recoveries are also great videos. I love them all, just find the MORR only videos to be smoother.
Here in Eastern Canada, half frozen greasy roads are what all our back roads are like for 6 months of the year. Dedicated studded winter tires on my 4x4 from November to April.
I wasn’t expected the truck to actually be in the lake
Channel SOOO much better w/out stupid ads.
Love that Morrvair rumble!
Matt and the gang need to go to the mug bogs in Florida.. those boys and girls down there are insane!!!
