Thanks for watching, from all of us at Matt's off-road recovery! - Авто/Мото
Damn, my bronco has never been seen this much! Been in my family for 26 years and a hand me down. Couldn’t and wouldn’t sell it for the world. Guys, Matt only charged me $100 bucks for that tow. I literally begged him to charge me more. I definitely owe him a rack and a bottle. Thanks again guys.
@Toasty love it man!!! Thank you!!
Damn, that's REALLY cheap. Was there any reason he did it for so little? I can't imagine running that business with rates like that.
that thing has some great patina man!
@@MrEazyE357 I think you may find featured recoveries are often cheaper than normal. This video has had 500k views in the first five days, that's between 500 and 1500 dollars already (maybe more if Matt has a really good CTR) and within a year should make around 3 grand or more. That means he can be a bit generous on his pricing for featured recoveries.
@@MrEazyE357 His business is youtube, recovery is to get content.
OJ appreciates your hard work getting his bronco out
It was Al Cowling Bronco, not Orenthal J Simpson’s, but who really cares anyway.
@@reefer-joe I was looking to see if anyone new that. Had to have been the slowest L.A. police chase ever...
That one NEVER got dirty. 🤠🌵
only one OJ comment, sheesh
@@reefer-joe
I know AC was driving it during the chase but I think it was OJ’s Bronco. He had driven the night of the murder and there was blood on it and on the seats. Nowadays the cops would have gotten the DNA in it. But I was sure it was OJ’s
Matt uploads a video and I click while drinking my coffee. No annoying intro, no annoying music. Just content... Great crew, some laughs and a different situation with every video. This is why he'll be at a million subs probably before end of the year.
Yesssssss
Should have been drinking some O.J. instead.
👍👍👍👍💯💯💯
Agreed! Well said
100 % agree about annoying intros and music.
Just watching this episode is great medicine! 👍 I'm a disabled combat veteran and lemme tell you Matt, I'd sign a waiver and pay you just to tag along and help out. For some reason this is like therapy for me.
Thank you for your service and your sacrifice, Sir.
Thank you for your service. We appreciate it more than you know!
Thank you Sir for your service and sacrifice. From another vet.
Hi Chris, I'm disabled too now and live vicariously through Matt and crew as well. Good we can be grateful for all the good times we had and enjoy others pushing themselves while we look after our well used mind and body. Brings back memories and keeps the cogs in the noggin going. Good on you for having a great attitude.
I don’t care what you’re pulling out, side x side or vehicle, I watch em’ all! You and Fab Rats are my favorite RUclips channels.

The sound of the Morvair doing what it's built to do is freaking awesome.
.....!!!!!!!!......
It's very nice on the ears isn't it. I wish Rory would swap out his big block for the same. Good engine and isn't obnoxious in person. For some reason just on videos. An external mic might help. When I watch Rory I mute the parts where there isn't talking because of it. Makes it a bit of a hassle but Rory is worth it. @trailmater

Oh man that pun Hertz.
@@chrisrobles2012 C'mon man
Well played 👏
I am sure Al Cowlings appreciated you freeing his Bronco.
Pulling ~20k lbs diesel truck and gooseneck trailer uphill in sand was a pretty impressive feat for the Morvair.
20,000 lbs might be stretching it .... maybe 12 k....
@@wutafungi Not by too much really, a Featherlite 6 horse trailer is 10,000 pounds by itself with no tack/cargo, and that truck is about 7,000 from the factory.
Yes really impressive!
It's split though with the Ram, it's not doing it alone...wouldn't likely happen
I may be wrong, but I think it would have been easier to pull it out with the bulldozer that was driving around the beach( 12:17 ).
Rudy with his arm around the b-pillar reminded me of Hightower driving a 1976 Civic in Police Academy. Does that make me "seasoned"?
old. it makes you old, Mahoney
When I saw Rudy with his arm around the B pillar I thought the same thing.
I watch every video of youres i can. Im a disabled mechanic / tow driver done a lot of nasty recoverys over the hillside. Truley admire you guys and your work.....
I loved Rudy's weather forecast. Puts his hand out of the window. "It's chilly." Best ever! Yes, 80 degrees is chilly after four months of hotter than hell.
I love that Rudy stuck his hand out the BACK window while riding shotgun 😂
That Morrvair is not a large vehicle.
Yeah, and out of the back window. Maybe it feels cooler back there 😂
To be honest Matt, I treat your channel like a TV show. I watch every episode regardless of what's on. Keep on with the great content.
Same
Exactly i dont get his logic with that. You have no idea what you're going to see until you've watched it
@@Jacobtheunwise Maybe something to do with watch analytics, if a high number of people stop watching the videos that have a razer recovery in it, it lowers the ranking and reach of the entire channel.
that's mostly why their sub count has been growing exponentially recently compared to before. they are Just optimizing.

I was on the 405 when O.J's Bronco pulled that 35 miles an hour run from the law, it took us three hours from Long Beach to Ocean Side which is normally 45 minutes, O.J appreciates you getting it out, he's out and could use a ride!
Pretty sure that was Al Cowling's Bronco. OJ was in the back.

Now I understand why Matt builds his own rigs instead of buying new ones. He builds them SUPER HEAVY DUTY like nothing on the market, to get the job done. SMART!
Everyone who does serious off roading modifies their trucks
@@grantadamson3478 Yes sir, I totally agree with you. However, Matt has gone above and behind with not only suspension and tires (like most off roaders do) but also front and rear HEAVY DUTY LOCKERS, and stuff like that. He just installed a Toyota/Lexus V8 to the banana. 🤠
@@grantadamson3478 exactly lol
@@HappyCarReviews Not sure why you highlighted "heavy duty lockers'. Nearly all club members where I live who do serious and even not so serious off-roading use either ARB or some other brand of front and rear locker. Unfortunately those types of lockers have there limitations but will do in most situations if you use them judiciously. (We have resorted to building our own.) Lockers are a relatively easy and cheap mod.
Many as Matt has done, change diff housings, diffs, axles, brakes, engine and trans, cooling etc.
Wheels/tires, beadlocks, snorkels and lift kits etc are minor mods and will usually improve off road ability but no where near what is required for serious/competition class. I'm talking 400+ hp and what is required to get that to the ground efficiently.
Also, I think you will find that the Banana is running a 4.6 liter stroker not a v8.
Purpose built vehicles
Sounds like an idea for a sister company. Matt’s RZR Recovery. Give those jobs to the newbies and you’re free to do what you want.
That’s a subcontractor
Awesome idea ! There u go Matt !
hey so I'd like to apply for this guys good idea lol
They should a “weekly RZR roundup” and cut all the recoveries into like 3minute clips each. Lol
That's something I'd do if I stayed out there.
It'd be called Robins RZR Roundup 😂
I recently went on vacation in the Lake Powell area and came home to MN with Covid. I found Matt's Offroad Recovery while in isolation and watch it for 3 days straight. Holy smoke. That was a huge weight to pull through deep soft sand like that. I'm amazed the Morvair pulled it out. Incredible.
he has a video of it pulling a duece in half out of sand, it's a pretty capable tow rig

I have this sudden urge for a glass of OJ 🤣
My Grandpa would drink a glass of buttermilk with chunks of cornbread in it. He had it as a kid when they had almost no money way back in the mid 30s.....
@@cdub166 i still think you might miss the reference to the car chase across LA. A former 49er riding a white horse with a wall of flashers behind him. In the end found not guilty.
Well, technically, the subject of the comment was "old farts". Not the white bronco in the video. So, while everyone does know what BassnTRUTH was talking about with the OJ comment because we are intelligent enough to make that connection, he was actually the one that was off topic. I was continuing the original subject of the first comment, which was "old farts", hence I mentioned my Grandpa.
the only problem is that Matt is a very seasoned driver, but he is a long way from being an old fart
RZR recoveries do get a little old if they're uneventful, but I always enjoyed seeing the more extreme ones as far as damage or circumstances so as long as those continue to be shown from time to time I'd be happy.
I do enjoy Matt going into detective mode to figure out just how wacky the driver got to smash their RZR they way they did. That's always fun.
Pretty much exactly what Matt said.
Holy Moly pulling the dodge out, man he hit second gear in the Morvair Jesus all you heard was Bald Eagles 🦅 and freedom 🇺🇸
Well, I’m thinking that horse trailer may have been the best flat recovery yet. The MOORVAIR sounded great and although it didn’t look easy, it looked great. What a powerhouse.
I hope to see it with a six liter one day, maybe with an 80e backing it up. I’m curious as to how long the 60e will take the abuse. Then again, I think the 80e 1st gear may be too long for the application.

Excellent work as always. Of course the names you're looking for in connection to the white Bronco are OJ and Al Cowlings for their infamous slow speed chase.
That was one of coolest recoveries y’all have done on the beach with that 3500 ram.

@@alexanderSydneyOz not everyone learn it!
We watch for the crew, any recovery will do! It's your big personalities that keep us coming back., the recoveries are just the backdrop. I wouldn't worry too much about making each video setting too unique or epic Matt, it's you guys who are the entertainment!
I think the problem is that not enough people watch those types of recoveries. MORR probably can't justify paying camera crew, editors etc for them. Editing and filming takes a long time. People always say how much MORR must make but don't consider how much it costs to do so. They're out there every day working hard and deserve what benefits come their way in my opinion. He treats people fairly from what I can see. As with all businesses, the charge often takes into consideration how much the customer can afford, whether they're disadvantaged some way etc etc. We've seen him quickly pivot and say it's on the house, or just charge cost when the customer is a vet or something. Good practice in my book. In my old B to B company I would actively try and help customers along in getting their businesses going, or just cutting them slack when I know they were out of pocket. Creates loyalty and is just a nice way to do business.
The very back and nowhere side x side recoveries are extra interesting.. love watching the banana haul the trailer through terrain a lot of people wouldn't/couldn't take a jeep through
"White Ford Bronco" Why does that just ring a bell? Maybe you had to grow up in the 80's & 90s to get why thats "a thing". Maybe this is a subtle tribute to Norm McDonald who recently passed.
O.J
Born in 81 but even most younger people know about the OJ thing.
OJ Simpson once said he would take a bullet for Nicole. That’s some bad luck. When the one guy who would have died for you, kills you.
Good ol’ Norm.
This comment is almost too smart for RUclips, absolutely more of a Reddit comment 🤣🤣🤣
Now this is quality content no bullshit cheesy intro no dumbass music strait to the point action and information LOVE IT.
“More seasoned” - that’d be me. I do recall that infamous white Bronco on the California freeway followed by a dozen police cruisers.
Same here the Rodney King riots going on also! Crazy years
If I've said it once I've said it many times - the Morvair is a true BEAST!
Haha, yes. As my opinion don't matter, it's nice to see someone else running 8" rims and whatever low PSI needed. No bead locks needed.
It's such a blast to see the Morrvair work. It has such amazing torque and of course, the magical rope, to yank heavier vehicles out of the sand!
The analytics don't lie.. If we don't watch it, like it and share it - we don't get more of it! :) I'm probably that person who would watch the razor recoveries - but I'm glad there isn't 5 videos a week with side by sides being stuck.. That last pull must have set some kind of a speed record on that beach? Thanks for the great content guys!
I agree - one of the reasons why Matt has been more successful than others doing similar content is how he regulates things like razor recoveries and only posts the really interesting ones. The are other channels out there that have great content but also dozens of video after video of them showing up on site and winching heaps of twisted metal onto a trailer and driving away. There’s just no way that can steadily keep someone’s interest up.
There's something that could have been done different but that was over with before you got there Matt.
I love it once that morevair sees pavement it doesn't matter what she's dragging
And the award for knowing pop culture goes to Matt.
Also, I've said it before, the Morrvair has a fantastic exhaust note. If it were a man his name would be Sam Elliot. Deep, confident and all business.
If it were a man it would be named Good Ol Ed!!!
Sounds so f’n good 💯
Matt, I’m so happy that you’re trying to keep us happy by doing the beed locks.
Maybe hes making himself happy by not debeading so much haha. Trail repairs are not joke.
Should do a weekly rzr roundup where you just compile them all into “shorts” like bare minimum of the recovery. Lol!
I’m assuming they’ve decided that’s it’s not worth the labor hours of editing/filming the rzr recoveries though. So they may not even be filming most of those now.
I was almost thinking the same, maybe just a photo montage showing the damage, for just a few seconds - assuming they can take a quick photo.
13:30 mark. I love how Ed just still along for the ride lol. Old guy is ready for whatever comes along.
I saw the OJ Bronco go by. My Wife and i were living in Beuna Park Ca at the time and we could see the freeway from the top level of our town house. I guess I'm old. I was in a 4x4 club back then, can't even remember the name of the club now. Still have the cJ7 though.
Hey Matt and Crew, greetings from Florida. I just found your channel a couple months ago and been watching all of your videos. I appreciate all the hard work that your team puts in to make these videos possible.
I really enjoy every minute of what ever you guys decide to post, please don't change your ways because a few people don't want to watch certain videos.
I don't do to much off roading and want to do it more often just can't right now.
I have learned a great deal from watching your channel. Thanks again for everything, maybe one day I could come up and stop by and meet everyone, who knows. Take care everyone.
If we band together (in the hundreds of thousands) he will be able to justify the cost of the extra crew and editing. From what he said it sounds like it's something he's tried in the past, but it didn't work out so well. Maybe he could have another crack at it with the extra subs these days.
The morevair’s exhaust reminds me of the original general lee.. oh crap.. does that make me “seasoned”
I had to watch the power pull several times, that was beautiful!
And there was just something mind bending about Rudy wrapping his arm around the B pillar... MORRception!
And that hot sand makes me want some Juice...
The last time I saw a bronco moving like that was in 1994,
Maybe do a razor versus Can-Am totally at the end of each week or month and whether it was a mechanical breakdown or customer damage

Well, the slow moving chase was brought to an end before it made it to us and we stood there for another hour until someone drove by, assumed we were waiting for OJ and told us the chase had ended already!! lol ..Oh well ....It was the desert.. What else was there to do?
Lancaster!? Jeezuz....I can't believe you'd admit to that ;-)
@@brucekoster9253 It was worse then that. We were on the Ave A overpass in Rosamond!! We were at the old Sal's Town on the 14 and ave A when we heard about it .lol Midway between Lancaster and Mojave . AKA In the middle of F'N Nowheres!! only good thing about living there is Edwards AFB, Willow Springs Racetrack , dirt bike riding , mine exploring and the Feline breeding compound. Old retirees and AFB personnel during the day... Tweekers, Drug dealers and gang bangers at night. Its one of those towns you think you will never escape. I'm sure Glad i did!! That whole area is known for the meth people that inhabit it
@@BUD420MAN I used to enjoy running across there in the truck....but I haven't for a good 10-12 years. Can't say that I miss it ;-)
@@brucekoster9253 I moved to Az in 94 from there . Got tired of walking to lancaster to find a job that doesnt exist. Got lucky and someone i knew had experience in drywall and i overheard him saying they couldnt find any workers to move to AZ. I raised my hand! didnt care what i was doing, it was going to get me out of there. I now work for myself doing drywall, paint and handyman stuff. Loving every minute of not being in Cali!! I do like going camping at Lake Isabella and the Kern river areas like Johnsondale and Trail of 100 giants. Planning a trip to magic mountain eventually .. but will never live there again. NEVER!! lol
That "white bronco" recovery was faster than the car chase Mat was hinting at lol
Well, it was a slow speed chase.
It's a great job. And the job is such that every intervention is interesting in its own way. Also, everything contributes to a harmoniously tied team that does it very well. And, of course, nothing without the wicked monster Corvair
I never would have thought I'd be addicted to an offroad recovery show...someone sent me the link of that abandoned honda(?) rescue(?) the most insane tow I've ever seen and been hooked ever since.
"I was in park" ... Yeah, I think he knows. Matt has the patience of a saint.
edit...I was just looking up off road recovery costs and came across Lizzie's Instagram page...that is one incredibly strong and athletic young woman. "One and half bundles of shingles" up a ladder...my back is screaming out in pain.
Yeah she is a bad ass, and good at everything. Lol
when she's young yeah but the older you get the harder it gets. my energy took a dive when i turned 35
@@leadnsteel1428 i think that all depends on how active you stay. I just turned 35 and i still feel young and always have energy. Ive had a physically demanding job fot the last 17 years so thats kept me in shape.
LOL, between the Anakin quote, "more seasoned", and "you better not" this was probably one of the funniest MOR episodes.
I suspect the real secret to Matt's razor recovery is Matt with a big side helping of Ed, Rudy, Lizzy, and Trevor. So not many competitors can bring that combination to the job.
Love watching the Morrvair just paw the ground. The way you hauled A with that truck and trailer in the sand ❤. Badass!
"More seasoned" Thanks for not calling us old.
Oj was out there making sure no one found the knife when he got stuck!
Love the channel man. Being a local, its awesome to see the views you guys are getting on these videos. Very helpful and great content 👍
That Bronco exhaust sound.. Holy moly. I wish we had cars like that in common in EU.
The Morrvair was pulling the Bronco faster than Al Cowlings was driving it on the freeway!! 🤣😂 So I guess I’m seasoned!! ❤️🐞
Good morning, Bug!
@@Mumblix - Good morning ! ❤️🐞
It was faster than Ronald getting to Nichole’s house to deliver the sunglasses!
Hey Bug!!! 😍
There is nothing seasoned about you!!! You are gorgeous! 😜
The Morrvair is such a badass rig, I can't stand it lol. Love the banana, but the Morrvair is on a whole new level.
Wait for the new, much improved Banana.
When Matt says he bought MRAP axles, he wasn’t kidding.
The new Banana will continue to rule the recoveries for years to come, wait and see.
And I’ve never talked with Matt, just paid attention to what he’s said!
If you’re not sure what a MRAP is, look it up in military vehicles.
@@PhilipAnderson the Banana is going to be insane!
Yes , that Morrvair is amazing. I love the way it sounds and that its built for the purpose. I dont think Matt could have built it any better
And in the next category of our show tonite, we have the trophy for the "Land Speed Record held on sand- by a Ram pulling a horse trailer Matt Winder accepting the award"...
Matt's last name isn't Winder...
@@chrisgriffin2587 it is now, the internet deems it necessary for the lore and continuity henceforth.
Damn they where hauling 🤣
@@chrisgriffin2587 😆
I've watched about half of all of your videos. I'm from cave creek, AZ and know all about Show Low up through Moab. All of my neighbors are horse people and I was belly laughing through the whole horse trailer section til the tears started. My goodness that was hilarious. Any real cowboy would have tied the horses to the trailer and get that thing unstuck on his own. I'm glad dressage exists so your crew can post the content!
Great vid of the “O.J.” Getting pulled out and lizzy was probably in her element driving that horse trailer
O J simpson LMAO 😆😆
I suddenly feel like drinking a tall cold glass of OJ while watching The Naked Gun.
Apparently you’re one of the more “seasoned “ viewers ;)
My gloves don't fit
@@doctorseuss5349 They must acquit
Matt I really enjoy watching the progress of the banana being rebuilt I grew up with the classic square body Jeep Cherokees and they're great little off road machines
Get a bronco! They're SWEET. TTBs are awesome for going fast, but maybe not for rescuing people in 4x4. They also require a fair bit of maintenance, but you'll go faster through stuff than everyone else will and they're great for getting long travel if you want to catch air too.
