The only thing that makes me question this is the snippet we got from Dain in the Teyvat Chapter Storyline Preview. “The rules of war are woven in the womb: the victors shall burn bright, while the losers must turn to ash. When the God of War shares this secret with the Traveler, it is because she has her reasons.” If she’s sharing this secret with Traveler that would hopefully imply Murata is still alive. But with the chapter being titled as it is, there could definitely be shenanigans afoot.
Hoyo really won't let Himeko live in any universe, will they? (The pyro archon's name is Murata and Himeko's full name is Murata Himeko) (Himeko died in almost all the games she appeared including GGZ and HI3, let's pray for Himeko not to die in HSR) (Also Himeko was the Herrscher (God) Of Fire in PE so this supports this even more)

And also cause we get to learn more about dragons since Fontaine. So having a archon dragon hybrid would really be something new and cool

We know the Pyro Archon is tough, and she wouldn’t break at just losing her Gnosis, she would fight back. But what if she broke at losing her sister? To a war nonetheless. (While this theory does interrupt the theory of Xbalanque being the previous Pyro Archon, he is most likely the Pyro Dragon Sovereign, a title he could’ve gotten elsewhere, or maybe he’s Murata’s brother? We don’t know. I think your theory is awesome though, I can tell how hard you worked on it)

Not just the Gnosis, who'd have the Authority, the Throne? I guess we aren't quite clear on how Archons are replaced after they die (or at least I missed people talk about it), so I suppose it wouldn't be impossible for there to be some sort of competition. But it seems odd that Celestia would leave one of their Thrones sitting empty for so long!
It could be a situation similar to Inazuma, where the gnosis and authority are being temporarily held by someone until someone is worthy of it…. And I think Celestia wouldn’t mind since the war would make Natlan so busy with war that they would not try and find the secrets of the world

There's a theory that you'll work with a Rukkhadevatta'd Pyro Dragon to resurrect the Pyro Archon. On one side, it's a good side, on the other, it'd be using the same character story the third time.
I think it might be succession crisis, like Murata never officially stated a successor so at least two people close to her are fighting to be the new Pyro Archon. Capitano is either there "provide foreign support" (coughstealthegnosiscough), a ballsy foreign challenger or actually a Natlan native who came back to participate, whether as a challenger or a supporter (hell, maybe he knew Murata personally). Except everyone is oblivious to someone, maybe a follower of Murata or another person close to her, trying to do some necromancy to bring her back (zombie ex-archon weekly boss, anyone?)
Considering the comic took place 1000 years ago, and you can't truly kill an Archon unless you destroy their throne, chances are the new Pyro archon has already been reborn by the time Travelers get there. So there's probably a chance that we get to train the new Archon to win the gnosis battle

It is more likely the traveler will help the fire archon rebirth in a figurative sense while having the gnosis go to the tsaritsa. My bet is that once we finally will meet the cryo archon we will find out that the Fatui aren't the bad guys after all and that she has a good reason for collecting the different gnosis that OR the Fatui are in fact evil and they somehow manipulate the cryo archon.

Im gonna assume the tribes in Natlan are fighting for the gnosis . The winner will take on the form of Maurata because her consciousness is trapped inside the gnosis, but lack all her memories, and in her rage and misunderstanding she will hold a competition for another tribe take the gnosis and relive her from the suffering by defeating her in combat Turning her current host into ash and allowing the new host of the gnosis to become the archon as Maurata ! This would also mean the tribes are fighting over the title of children of Maurta because the tribe that has the gnosis would be royalty.
So the definition of the word *murata* means someone part Hispanic and African. Specifically used to make fun of one’s race during the age of exploration in South America and Meso-America. Some were part of the lower-class and barely any were part of the middle class. This was because the social hierarchy during this time was based on race (hence “de las casas,” meaning from the houses or homes: Spain). Murata is probably considered lowly in Natlan (not because of her race, but because of the theory of the social hierarchies in Natlan based on how good you are at war).
Maybe she died without making a will. Then her kids or sum have a war for the gnosis then other factions/tribes fight for it bc they want it too. Maybe, maybe. Maybe even a lil magic at the end to see our queen's decision? OR OR, a spoopy artifact she left behind saying some crap like "None of them were fit for the role of Pyro Archon." We'll probs get a character with the right personality but not great combat abilities whom we might end up siding with. We'll just have to wait for Natlan.

to be fair my theory would be like this. there would be an event where they're fighting inside the ring, there's competitors including traveler, varka, capitano and murata herself. as for the land of dragon, their nations are full of dragons and that could a like to how to train your dragons.
I hope Vanessa has a part to play in Natlan. Or maybe her sister (?) Who was in the comics. I really want the tribe of Warriors to make an appearance. It would be cool if the girl who Vanessa was taking care of ended up returning to Natlan.
Vanessa is currently trapped in Celestia so she definitely won't appear in Natlan. (There is a theory that when someone is strong enough to ascend to Celestia, they are not recognized but seen as a threat for their power, so after they ascend to Godhood they get trapped in Celestia for eternity, which is hinted by in the end of the Manga, Venti looks like feeling pity and not happy for Vanessa. And also Vanessa used to be a slave fighting in an arena to entertain civilians. However when she entered Celestia, she entered into a kind of arena, before the gates closed behind her, so this supports the theory as well)

Everyone is dead, only the traveler is alive. In order to be recorded by Irminsul, the person has to have died and their story recorded. The Traveler is trapped in a repeating instance, everyone around the traveler are just shadows of their original selves.

I think there is a very high chance of this and here’s why: every regions archon has been in some sort of incapacitation state or something similar: Nahida in the sanctuary of surasthana,Ei locked herself in the plane of euthymia,zhongli is now presumed dead and is living amongst people, venti is the same and now focalors’ divinity in the oratrice while furina acted out her part which she was freed from. It might mean that we either resurrect the pyro archon or we find her somewhere
Or maybe... do we get a chance to create a new Archon? Do we help someone we've previously met or someone new attain the seat of power and work on ending the endless war?
This also reinforces the theory that nobody's home in Celestia, or they are soundly asleep. This basically because dragons, the major antagonists to Celestia, coexist peacefully with humans, and may even hold the Gnosis in their grasp and are just waiting for a dragon strong enough to use the Gnosis and attain real sovereign levels of power.
Who knows if this is what happened in Natlan but so far from what we have seen with the Archons, when one is going to die, they choose or create a successor. And we know that Venti as Barbatos is the only original member of the 7 that is still alive (as far as the people of Teyvat know). So, it’s possible that Murata was the original Pyro Archon, then she died before creating or choosing her successor.
i have a theory, murata or maybe iansan died in old natlan, just like sumeru, so then iansan or murata (if anyone of them died) they replaced that archon instead.
I mean Murata being dead fits with the theme of Himeko Murata being dead in all the universes. There's a theory that Himeko gets killed by all the main characters like Kiana, Mei and that Bronya will kill her next (in HSR or genshin). If Bronyas the cryo archon it might be in genshin.
I feel like it is split between 2 sides. It is stated that in the Pryo gemstone, there will be a battle to earn a name. Perhaps a title as Pryo Archon? There is also a pilgrimage, meaning a journey to a holy place, which might be Celestia. TBF the essence of war is slowly coming back to Teyvat, especially with the hint of the Fatui VS Celestia concept slowly becoming apparent. So it would somewhat make sense if the Pyro Archon would be resurrected.

I think it might be succession crisis, like Murata never officially stated a successor so at least two people close to her are fighting to be the new Pyro Archon. Capitano is either there "provide foreign support" (coughstealthegnosiscough), a ballsy foreign challenger or actually a Natlan native who came back to participate, whether as a challenger or a supporter (hell, maybe he knew Murata personally). Except everyone is oblivious to someone, maybe a follower of Murata or another person close to her, trying to do some necromancy to bring her back (zombie ex-archon weekly boss, anyone?)

Considering the comic took place 1000 years ago, and you can't truly kill an Archon unless you destroy their throne, chances are the new Pyro archon has already been reborn by the time Travelers get there.

@@BeckyBucky3 So far the travelers track-record in saving gnosis is pretty meager. It is more likely the traveler will help the fire archon rebirth in a figurative sense while having the gnosis go to the tsaritsa.
My bet is that once we finally will meet the cryo archon we will find out that the Fatui aren't the bad guys after all and that she has a good reason for collecting the different gnosis that OR the Fatui are in fact evil and they somehow manipulate the cryo archon.

Im gonna assume the tribes in Natlan are fighting for the gnosis . The winner will take on the form of Maurata because her consciousness is trapped inside the gnosis, but lack all her memories, and in her rage and misunderstanding she will hold a competition for another tribe take the gnosis and relive her from the suffering by defeating her in combat
Turning her current host into ash and allowing the new host of the gnosis to become the archon as Maurata ! This would also mean the tribes are fighting over the title of children of Maurta because the tribe that has the gnosis would be royalty.

Vanessa is currently trapped in Celestia so she definitely won't appear in Natlan.
(There is a theory that when someone is strong enough to ascend to Celestia, they are not recognized but seen as a threat for their power, so after they ascend to Godhood they get trapped in Celestia for eternity, which is hinted by in the end of the Manga, Venti looks like feeling pity and not happy for Vanessa. And also Vanessa used to be a slave fighting in an arena to entertain civilians. However when she entered Celestia, she entered into a kind of arena, before the gates closed behind her, so this supports the theory as well)

I think there is a very high chance of this and here’s why: every regions archon has been in some sort of incapacitation state or something similar:
Nahida in the sanctuary of surasthana,Ei locked herself in the plane of euthymia,zhongli is now presumed dead and is living amongst people, venti is the same and now focalors’ divinity in the oratrice while furina acted out her part which she was freed from. It might mean that we either resurrect the pyro archon or we find her somewhere
Or maybe... do we get a chance to create a new Archon? Do we help someone we've previously met or someone new attain the seat of power and work on ending the endless war?

This also reinforces the theory that nobody's home in Celestia, or they are soundly asleep. This basically because dragons, the major antagonists to Celestia, coexist peacefully with humans, and may even hold the Gnosis in their grasp and are just waiting for a dragon strong enough to use the Gnosis and attain real sovereign levels of power.
Imagine if it’s like a phoneix nirvana through fire type stuff like what if like fishcl we get a pyro archon with a fire bird?
Who knows if this is what happened in Natlan but so far from what we have seen with the Archons, when one is going to die, they choose or create a successor. And we know that Venti as Barbatos is the only original member of the 7 that is still alive (as far as the people of Teyvat know). So, it’s possible that Murata was the original Pyro Archon, then she died before creating or choosing her successor.

I mean Murata being dead fits with the theme of Himeko Murata being dead in all the universes. There's a theory that Himeko gets killed by all the main characters like Kiana, Mei and that Bronya will kill her next (in HSR or genshin). If Bronyas the cryo archon it might be in genshin.

I feel like it is split between 2 sides. It is stated that in the Pryo gemstone, there will be a battle to earn a name. Perhaps a title as Pryo Archon? There is also a pilgrimage, meaning a journey to a holy place, which might be Celestia. Perhaps a dragon-born wants to ascend to Celestia and perhaps someone will burn to cinders for a dream for their “archon”
But that's just a theory so I'm going to create a whole ass plotline in my head and be delulu 😃
