Wanted to say the same thing, but I KNEW that someone had to have beat me to the punch. Before you watch it, you should know a few things. Based on comments from other reaction videos to the song, it should come with a warning label about making you cry like a baby. Possibly before they even start singing. Also, make sure you watch the music video, not just the audio. Whiskey Lullaby should be required of every reaction channel. And even if you swear to never listen to it again, everyone should listen to it at least once.

I'm a huge Slayer fan (odd for me to be here you say?) and I love having my face melted off by them. Alison Krauss is hands down my favorite singer though. Her voice melts my soul. She has such a perfect voice for everything that she sings. I've seen her having the voice of an angel, and that's completely true. No grit, rarely an effect, just pure perfection.
The band members are also each world class musicians on each of their instruments. Each one of them has won awards for their playing in their solo careers. Each member of this band is a living legend in their own right.
Please do more from her as she has decades of great music to choose from.

Alison started off as a bluegrass singer and musician as a teen. Thats where a good portion of her Grammys came from. One of her best loved songs was a duet with Brad Paisley called Whiskey Lullaby. I'll also recommend another artist worth a look or listen who has a distinct but amazing voice and that would be Linda Ronstadt. When Will I Be Loved, Its So Easy, blue Bayou and desperado are some of my favorites from her.

Alison is a terrific bluegrass musician who made a name for herself as a fiddle player at the ripe-old age of 12. One of her biggest hits was a duet with Brad Paisley called Whiskey Lullaby. Keep a box of Kleenex handy. Brad and Alison performed that song (and many others) during a swanky soiree at the White House during the Obama Administration.

Love Alison, you can do her anytime! Next up I'd suggest Ghost In This House, written by the great Hugh Prestwood. It's another song that she re-recorded, the original was done in this case by Shenandoah. It's also been done by the Dixie Chicks. These songs a from a great era of Country Music, the 1990's. Speaking of great singers from the 90s have you guys done Terri Clark? I don't recall seeing one. I'd suggest Better Things To Do or If I Were You. I just saw her on Saturday night with Paul Brandt, two great Canadian artists. They did the show minimalist and acoustic; it was absolutely fantastic !!!!

When you are the greatest female blue grass singer in the world it doesn't hurt to have the greatest musicians to go with it. She is pitched here to match the song but she can sing whatever music you like. Strange; she didn't even touch the violin she is famous for!
