I replaced mine with Dobinson's Nitrogen gas shocks. At some point in the future, I'll head up to Rockhampton and get some new springs and torsion rods from them...maybe. That's a pretty expensive investment. You should have seen how flogged out the upper control arms were on my V6. Man, how the previous owners kept it on the road I'll never know.
I can relate to the flogged out upper control arms haha, my first courier was cooked. But you live and learn hahaha, at least it's a replaceable part, the passenger side shock mount on my current ute has been snapped off and rewelded so I guess you can never have a perfect one 😆😆
@@Finndawg I saw that. Solid weld though. Looks like it'll last. I've replaced a lot of the suspension and brakes on mine, to ensure it's reliable, and to ensure I can fix any breaks...
Hey man just a btw tough dog and probably other brands make a front shock brace that bolts in with one hole needing to be drilled to reinforce that front upper shock mount
good sir, you are my last hope 😂. what would you say is max size tyres/wheels, that i could get for my 'Ford Courier GL, 2.6L, Unleaded Petrol, 4 SPEED AUTOMATIC'. The current stock ones i have are 195R14C-8ply, but i was hoping you would know what the max size would be. if it requires like a 2 inch lift or whatever im down for it😂. Love the content keep it up. Courier Kings
They're in the parts pile man, can't be fucked moving them over at the moment haha, got a big project on the way so putting my energy into that at the moment.
