    1.32 why the output of Q appears in the lower gate,
    As the lower state haven't completed first iteration.

      As you can observe from the circuit, the output of the first NAND is connected as the input to the second gate that's why the value will appear at the lower gate as input...

    Why can the outputs not be identical?

      Q is the input and Q (bar) is the complement of Q that’s why output can’t be identical.

      S = 0, R = 0, both outputs would be 1... but this is not allowed because .... why?
