Lunatic Reverse has been completed on 0% growths, definitely possible. People have even memed on the difficulty with SOYO runs (reverse drafts where you and a group of others pick horrible class/character combos)
Not deploying Kris past chapter 1 results in Jagen between each map trash talking Kris' performance saying their skill is too low and their defense is easy to deal with and they should do better as a Royal Guard which always makes me laugh if I ever see it

Next what makes robin so powerful especially with being a dual user of atk and magic yet still very powerful as a whole Oh and any mc that can solo their game like sigurd
Mage Kris is probably the one of the few classes that has an advantage as a female since aura comes so early. Though on hard 3 and 4, you can be easily softlocked on the first chapter if Jagen rolls his stats a certain way.
You only get two as a mage, though if memory serves, if Jagen rolls too much HP, it becomes impossible, at least later, prolouge maps. It's been a while since I've tried it, but I've had to reset in Jagan multiple times during that playthrough. Not to mention you would need good levels, (at least mag and spd) to make later maps possible. This is assuming h3 and h4 like I said, where mage is very poor early on.
@A_Person_64 actually mage kris, only starts with 1 on h3, so yeah if Jagen rolls too high of HP and or STR the prolouge is unwinnable. Mage has so little offensive and defensive stats it makes h3 and h4 very painful. On h4 you do get two vulneraries though I don't think it helps all that much. Jagen will have to roll 27 hp for prolouge 1 to be winable in h3 as he will out damage kris's healing and survive with 1 hp.
Actually, the story improves substantially. There were a lot of weird things on Mystey, such as Marth not knowing Anri's story. It makes a thousand times more sense that Kris is the ignorant on that subject.
A friend responded to the Kris-centrism critiques this way: Archanea was never heavily invested in its plot. While I slightly disagree, I get her point, and the game is a good game. Plus, Katarina.
I'm gonna say it: I think Chris' negative impact on the narrative is blown way out of proportion, you'd think with the way some people talk about it that he'd be on the same level as the 3DS avatars.
i don’t go to this part of FE so maybe i’m dead wrong but unlike the other avatars mystery did exist prior to the remake so instead of having a new story revolving around them it is an old story that existed without them prior that has been altered to function around them so you have a much better frame of reference for what a kris-less mystery is like than say a corrin-less fates. idk what the changes are though that’s just my guess
Pretty much the same for all avatars that aren't corrin. Fire Em Bros made a good video on how Kris doesn't really impact the story much at all it's really just people trying to justify avatar hate any way they can tbh.
Honestly, Kris ain't great, but the actual quality of fe12s narrative is the real issue. Just loads of bloat, inane supports and properly boring prose. Especially bad when shadow dragons localisation was so snappy and punchy.

Alear being more support focused was cool and much preferred for me since good combat in this series is so easy to attain (Radiant Dawn hard mode withstanding) so having more support/utility is welcomed since its more rare.
Ik people say a lot of good things about FE12 but on top of everything else that heinous tutorial (and the other microscopic new gaiden maps) + the role kris has bc of tutorial grinding really kills my interest. Just ruins the chRacter scaling on top of FE12's horrendous character balance. Then again your full playthrough of FE12 was very interesting. Anyway good video as always explaining less well known stuff.
