This isn't an easy song to sing, and imo, verges on territory that should not be walked upon.
However, this is beyond doing beyond justice to this incredibly personal and nearly "off-grounds" song. Just beautiful.

Musicians as good as this should continue to honor Joni Mitchell by performing her work - - to help us really appreciate what a gift Joni is. Among so many talents - what a complete instrument is her voice!
Mandolin is a great choice on this dulcimer song, tremendous vocalist. So pleasing, I haven’t the words.
Restraint, feeling and sensitivity. All that the song needs. And it's all here, Wonderful!
Wow! An interpretaton of such an iconic performance. And nailed it. The mandolin player manage to give us a performance of Joni's quirky and simple dulcimer, without it being quirky and simple. Aoife's performance conveyed the essence of the song, (And it was an amazing performance.). The band was just, subtly there, which is tough to do in such a personal song. As someone who considers "A Case of You" to be the greatest popular song of modern times, I believe this performance nailed it.

I believe this is one of the greatest songs ever written, and it is such a treat to hear this band take it on- the mandolin instead of dulcimer gives it a beautiful, gentle touch, and Aoife's vocals are just spot on.

I absolutely love this version - its a brave singer who takes on such an iconic work and adds something more than imitation but Aoife managed to give me goosebumps ...!
God I miss “Live From Here”. Chris is not only a genius and virtuoso musician, but such a student of music of so many genres, and he attracted such great talent to come perform with him, like Aoife, Critter, and Alex. Loved the quote of the bass line from the original, whoever played that.

So. For those of us who grew up with Joni and really, deeply know that no one can replace her... this gal comes pretty damn close in the most incredibly etched upon our soul song she ever wrote...

Fabulous rendition ! You can't help hearing Joni because she is unique , and so few people could pull this off , but here we are and these folk are absolutely "channelling" this anthem - entirely making it their own . Masterful performance . Thank you .

I am playing this every day ... she has become my favorite singer. The musicians in this set are extraordinary, and Chris a genius.
I miss this show so much. Saturday nights aren't the same.
Her inflection and phrasing of the song is beautiful. It's almost as good as Joni (almost).
The thing about Joni is that she is so peculiar as an artist, her little inflections both in voice and instruments, and the song construction itself, that only she can really do them total justice. But at the same time, perhaps because of that uniqueness, it is specially lovely to see other performers take her material into their own universe and make it their thing.
I love this version. Diana Krall has a good one, too.

Still watching this after four years. Such amazing sensitivity, expression, feeling. You can tell by the expressions on Aoife's face - she is just not singing this - she is telling a story. Much like Joni did.

I don't watch the news any more. Too depressing. I wake up and turn on RUclips with all of my favorite Aoife O'Donovan, Sarah Jarosz and I'm With Her videos lined up, along with some Mandolin Orange, and then I'm late for work. But its great to listen in the morning while drinking coffee. Warning, don't keep your guitar anywhere near or you may never make it to work.
