Excellent vid guys! I've got about 30k miles on my 21. After the initial updates and a new battery, it's been rock solid. Two Sturgis trips and countless weekend excursions. Ive owned a lot of bikes from nearly every major brand and this one has been my favorite.

Awesome, just found this channel. Buying a new '24 when they get in for the riding season. I live out in the foothills outside of Sturgis, so can't wait to get out on a bike again in this area!

really like all the Pan America content, truly, but wish you all would be a smidge critical with any issues you may have about these, I know they're not perfect like any motorcycle. sometimes it feels like you're a HD advertisement avoiding any negative aspect.

Not every channel needs to be critical. There’s tons of critical content out there for every brand of motorcycle, and certainly the Pan America. Any issues have been well documented.

I'm interested in the BIKE RACK for my '21 PAS. I already have the hard box racks. Would be great if it can handle a 50 lb e-bike.

I love your review. The pan-america sounds like an awesome bike. Makes me wish I was young with low opportunity costs again. I'd buy me one and hit the road.
Keep up the great content, keep the adventures coming.

Nightmare reliability stories keep me off this model. I have a Road Glide now and it’s fine. Had a R1200 GSA and it had its mechanical issues which were $$ but it was running fine when I sold it.

I as totally into this video. Then you threw a bike on a bike. Wow. Wasn't expecting that! I'd be totally scared to put my 8k Spec. Roadbike on there ROFL. my luck it would catch every rock and crack my carbon .

Before I‘d mount a bicycle rack on a PanAm:
    1. get the engine running low-rev, too, it‘s so 90s how it behaves as a v-twin.
    2. rip of the flappy screen and wobble rear grip crap that harley still didn‘t fix and replace it with solid wunderlich parts
    3. think of a bike rack that doesn‘t stick out the bicycle into the next lane. It‘s the first that goes and you with it, if it is grabbed by anything.

So what about reliability? You sing the praises like a Harley ad. No issues with starter clutch, stator, fuel pump, or ecm? Never went into limp mode? Are you using the stock battery? How often were you plugged into a battery tender? There had to be something that you didn’t like

    • @Glitched-PanAmerica

      Besides the Japanese Bikes!
What Big Bike Manufacturer DOESN’T Have reliability issues ?
Look at bmw 1300 they just stop production of them do to reliability and failure!
I love my Pan American 18,000 miles and with a Harley Dealerships everywhere you look, resources are available!
BMW dealerships have a 3 month service wait time.

@@Glitched-PanAmerica Can’t agree just because you haven’t personally had any problems. The Hondas and Kawasakis that I have owned, were reliable. The other Harleys that I’ve owned have been reliable. Also just because Harley has a large dealer network, doesn’t mean that they know how to work on the Rev Max motor. The Harley techs that have worked on air cooled push rod motors their whole career, don’t even want to know about VVT. The Pan America forum from Toronto is mostly complaints and a recent poll was about 50-50 as who is happy with their Pan, and who is not. If your bike is trouble free, consider yourself lucky

@@noidreculse8906two years ago, the service center technician aptitude was definitely a problem, but in the last 14-16 months, they have undergone a massive training campaign based on the popularity of the Pan America (per a chat with Harley Corp.), and I personally have seen improvements with the techs at my local shop between the 5k and 10k services, was like night and day. Won’t speak on the rest of your comments as I generally don’t agree with the “all other bikes don’t have reliability issues” argument, and believe that argument doesn’t hold any water. Also, forums and social media intrinsically will highlight complainants in my opinion. Just like reviews, satisfied people don’t tend to make a lot of noise, angry people do.

I bought a 2023 Pan AM, no doubt it is fast, fun and unique. However, it broke two days after I bought it, shut down and screen went black and wouldn't start. Goes to dealer, get it back. Broke immediately again. I lose excitement and trust for the bike. I then ride it around town for about 500 miles. It's doing okay so I decide to ride from NC to IA when my Mom had health issues. The entire way kept having issues. Audio controls and GPS quit working, had ride mode failure with warnings and faults. Ride modes no longer functioning. Then bike would occasionally not start. I took to the IA Harley dealer. They had it a month and a rep came out from Harley. Said nothing was wrong with it. They gave me some BS answers and just reset everything. I had to leave it there since I couldn't trust it. Then had to pay to have it transported to NC. IMMEDIATELY after unloading the bike wouldn't start and had faults. Goes to dealer again and they clear faults and reset it and say it is good. I have pics, videos, documentations and everything. After making the 1000 mile trip to Iowa the bike Has 2k miles on it. Harley won't buy it back, help me get in to another bike, won't even offer more warranty. NOTHING! To add to their poor customer service I have owned 4 Harleys and bought 2 new ones about a year apart. I'd think at 34 years old they'd want to keep me as a customer. I have loved the brand my entire life and no longer have any love or respect for them. Including buying a Pan Am special, with hard bags, fog lights, exhaust, axle guards and many add ons and extended warranty I am $29,991 invested. I asked the dealer what they'd give me for the bike to trade into something else. They offered me $9k after all this, so after getting stuck with a lemon I'd have to take that big of a hit......I hired a lawyer. Hopefully I can get out of this nightmare. I am flying to Milwaukee next week to go to corporate too and try to discuss, I hit a wall with customer service and they won't let me talk to anyone above my "rep." I have never felt so helpless and stuck with a poor quality and expensive purchase/product.

@@wikeywikeywhick3852why are we frustrating you? The issues we are having and experience we have are not created by us. We wanted to love the bike. But if it has been nothing but broken, In shop and untrustworthy then why would we not feel the way we do? Sad that we frustrate you but I share to try to prevent others from possibly having same issues after spending hard earned money.
