I've had this video ready to go for a few weeks now. At the time of recording this I was told this would be 500 Credits, the official price at launch is instead 600
My main gripe with this mod is that they just called this hammer Mjolnir... I mean, come on, Skyrim is based on Norse mythology, right? But it's inspired and changed to fit into the Elder Scrolls setting. Shor/Thor, Sovngarde/Valhalla. And they just call this... Mjolnir.... Now, the word translates to "lightning maker." They could have done some really cool stuff here and called it Strunnir. "Strun" is the Dragonword for "Storm," and "Nir" could have been kept for "Maker" as an inspiration used for a Skyrim Dragonword from a Norse word. So having that blend that everything has. So it would feel like the Elder Scrolls version of Mjolnir... I mean, the weapon's got Dragon carvings all over it. So Strunnir would have been a mad name for the hammer.
@henryethagaming1368 I know that. I meant it feels like something you'd see on the UNPAID section. Like star wars lightsabers as a mod. It just wouldn't make sense lore wise and neither does thus.
My general policy right now is I only look to cover the Creations that seem like they might be worth it at first glance. I've only had one (so far) that I felt really burnt on, but the ones that I think look bad I don't bother buying at all. I realize that buying the "bad" ones and reviewing them would maybe serve as a warning to others, but I'm at a point where I don't want to waste my time and money on something I'm going to dislike
Silent Moons Weapons is the most I have personally felt ripped off. The dungeon was short and basic, the gear could not be improved, crafted, or disenchanted, and at launch one of the weapons was bugged and didn't even spawn. Spell Tome Craft was basic but it at least did exactly what it set out to do, I knew what to expect just from reading the description before buying
ahh the book needs to be updated... Its calling "Jorrison Stormherland" a Nord that Fought with Ysgramor. There were no Nords at that time. they were all Altmorans. And in a setting if Tolfdir wrote this, He would know his histories being a mage professor. For Stormtrance it would be better if it was made a power like the Ring of Hircine. So your not using this mode by mistake all the time.

Ysgrammor, who is arguably THE Atmoran, is basically just a Taller Nord in Sovngarde, and it's worth noting that Miraak IS a Nord, very unambiguously, if they intended him to be Atmoran they could have made him much taller like with Ysgrammor, The Ebony Warrior, or Tsun, but they didn't. The timeline between Ysgrammor coming to Tamriel with his 500 companions and the Dragon War is ambiguous, but we have a clear link between those different periods and his name is Ahzidal, he would definitely be an Atmoran, but as a Dragon Priest he doesn't seem any bigger than other Dragon Priests who would logically be Nords. It might not be interesting, but there doesn't seem to be any substantial difference between Atmorans and the Nords other than Atmorans being from Atmora and sometimes being Bigger.

In Norse mythology, Skirnir is the servant of Freyr who is sent to deliver Freyr’s message of courtship to the Giantess Gurd. Additionally, Svalinn is the shield that protects the world from the sun’s heat; if it were to fall from the sky, the world would burn. In theory, this could potentially mean that Svalinn is more powerful than both Dawnbreaker and Auriel’s bow.
The tree shaped engraving within the dragon stone is a reference to the world tree/if radio in Norse mythology, the goat is also a reference to the fact that Thor could summon goats with Mjolnir in Norse mythology
For anyone wondering where to get the sky shard ores you can find some in the mungadr mine where u first encounter the draugrs there will be ore veins on the floor just look carefully as well there’s another single ore sitting on a table inside the mine right before the entrance to where you first encounter the draugrs as once uve fallen off the bridge that collapses in the mine there’s a skeleton on the floor with 2 ores next to it for reference of the area I’m talking about with the draugr you encounter the thalmar around that area at the end when u clear the dungeon

Why? Just find one teleport to the cheat room make 10,000 now u can upgrade without all that searchy grindy crap. U don't have to u can play it normally but I don't have the time to look.
Honestly if they include all of these new creations into the new Skyrim Rerelease (it'll happen we all know it) then it'll actually be worth it. But I still will want Elder Scrolls 6 over Skyrims 5th Rerelease
“Skyrim final edition” exclusively for series X, PS5, has all creation club + all verified creator content, few graphical updates, and 15GB of mod space on console. Now THAT would be cool

Wow these puzzles ARE really good. I especially loved that one with the mage, warrior, thief, and the water. I have never seen that in a mod before, very inspired.

I would prefer if storm trance was an togglable ability used much how shouts and such are used... That way we could still use our power strikes normally...
I think the transformation being tied to standing power attacks is gonna get very annoying very fast, but I do very much like the look of everything else

I think they did a really good job with the design of the dungeon, it looks unique and the puzzles are creative. The weapons and armor look well designed also. Personally however i don't think it's worth 600 seeing as Coven of Crones is 500 and you get an entire new land with multiple quests, dungeons and enemies. Whilst i dont particularly agree with paid creations i think 500 is a fair price for what you get. I don't think 600 is for this creation, even though it looks well done. Just my opinion.
I will say that when I first played Truth in Legends, it was before I knew Coven of Crones was going to be 500. I think Coven of Crones is very much going to be an outlier in terms of cost-to-value, but I really liked the mindset that they had in setting their price point
I would love to play with this but I’m using a requiem based mod pack call constellations and there is no way I could do all that custom patch work myself

I've been sitting on this video for a while too, the Creation has been done for over a month, but went through some extra QA and testing to be safe. I will be going back to some free mods after I finish up Coven of Crones too

The shield never showed up for me but I cant advance without it, I had to use console commands to even get out and now that I went back to where the shield should be theres nothing there, anybody have any ideas?

so i get to the end boss i had to tcl to get througg the claw gate becuse i coulnt find the dammed claw, so i get to the last boss and solve the puzzle and the controler vibrates and the boss dosnt spawn, nor can i move the mirrors again..
Anyone knows how to start it? Cause for me when i go to the mines the miners are still working on opening the entrance. What do i gotta do to trigger them breaking through it?
Anyone know how you get skyshards to upgrade this? Not any information on this anywhere online that I can find? And right now the weapon and armor is far too weak for my level so ive basically wasted 600 credits
This weapon and armor set is very cool, especially with all of it's unique mechanics, but I don't know if it's worth 600 points. Coven of Crones is 500. Bard's College expansion is a 1000. But onto a more personal thing, minor nitpick, just the weapon actually being called Mjolnir pretty easily breaks my immersion, there's a pretty large distance in my mind between actual Norse Mythology and TES Nordic Mythology. There's also the concern that given how specific this gear and powers are, that it might be the star of a playthrough where you use all or most of the mechanics but if you happen to not be using any of it I think this could go to waste, just decorating some armor and weapon displays in your house.
No it's better this way quicker this way rather than pausing the screen to select a power... U just do It... All u have to do is memorize what mjolnir can do.
There's a bug I think. I got the mod and now i have two mjolnirs one is a staff and the other is a mace. The biggest problem is that the damage numbers keep changing from like 30 to 18. Btw Does anyone know how to find the ore to improve Mjolnir?
All it does is freeze whenever I get to the boss, and it’s always random, even froze right as I went to claim Mjolnir. This is why you don’t pay for mods, they will ALWAYS scam you
21:00 yeah once i get the enchantment i always have a ring of water breathing on me (actually my first time doing the thieves guide quest i had just used all my soul gems to enchant jewelry to sell and water breathing with petty soul gems can be more expensive than other enchantments as the price is fixed not on the power of the gem so in short i was able to survive the dungeon flooding completely accidentally with the thought of my character now being the Skyrim equivalent of Batman (yeah im a nerd))
Dude it’s so weird, I booted up Skyrim on my PS5 and the title screen showed “Skyrim received a new update” and said truth in legends on it. I’m so confused
@@Dafydd-n5h Morrowind is definitely different. Combat is based on “rolls” so you can miss if you are swinging at them. I’d recommend Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion first. It’s definitely aged, but it’s the closest to Skyrim so you can work your way backwards easily.
He glitches out when he is in his 3rd health bar he starts to fly all over the god damn room all sporadic like Had to use slow time Telekinesis to bring him close to me and let the ash guardian do his thing. U do know u can keep him as a companion?
word of warning dont do this quest with a follower i took serana with me through this quest and when i had to float down that huge hole she wouldnt move any further
As followers I have Serana Mercer Frey Thonnir Farkas Brother verulus Barbas Katja Saadia my wife Apostia (from the new paid creation fallen heros: death knight armor mod) Edit: just got Umbra and Ebony warrior About to get miraak. They didn't fall down the hole but when I reached the boss room they teleported themselves in with me and we beat thors ass real good for choking me... Then I turned him into a companion lol 🤣
@ I had serana with me and when I went down the hole she did teleport down but didn’t move any further afterwards nor would she move after leaving the dungeon

Multi follower framework but u need the cheat room spells to remove their faction then set their um love for u to 3 - ally then set them as a follower... Now just talk to them pay'em 100 gold... And their yours. Even Thor Stormherald. Edit u have to clone Thor 1st... then make the second thor your ally while companions deal with the 1st thor or just kill the 1st thor but sometimes when Thor dies he remains in human form most times he turns to ash tho so u need him to remain in his human form... Loot him using the cheat spell 1st if u pick up the hammer he turns to ash anyways resurrect him remove his faction, set him as an ally, take his gear, teleport to the cheat room, duplicate his gear, keep a set for yourself now teleport back use the cheat spell set/see their inventory give him back all his gear... And yes he uses all the abilities he used against u against your enemies... Even his stormtrance mode.

Anyone know how you get skyshards to upgrade this? Not any information on this anywhere online that I can find? And right now the weapon and armor is far too weak for my level so ive basically wasted 600 credits

This weapon and armor set is very cool, especially with all of it's unique mechanics, but I don't know if it's worth 600 points. Coven of Crones is 500. Bard's College expansion is a 1000.
But onto a more personal thing, minor nitpick, just the weapon actually being called Mjolnir pretty easily breaks my immersion, there's a pretty large distance in my mind between actual Norse Mythology and TES Nordic Mythology.
There's also the concern that given how specific this gear and powers are, that it might be the star of a playthrough where you use all or most of the mechanics but if you happen to not be using any of it I think this could go to waste, just decorating some armor and weapon displays in your house.

Stormtrance needs to be a power not a power attack.
No it's better this way quicker this way rather than pausing the screen to select a power... U just do It... All u have to do is memorize what mjolnir can do.
modders will polish this and turn it into something much more convenient, just like they do with other creations
There's a bug I think. I got the mod and now i have two mjolnirs one is a staff and the other is a mace. The biggest problem is that the damage numbers keep changing from like 30 to 18.
Btw Does anyone know how to find the ore to improve Mjolnir?
I just finished the boss fight. It was so difficult, I was on novice level 80 as well.
All it does is freeze whenever I get to the boss, and it’s always random, even froze right as I went to claim Mjolnir. This is why you don’t pay for mods, they will ALWAYS scam you

21:00 yeah once i get the enchantment i always have a ring of water breathing on me (actually my first time doing the thieves guide quest i had just used all my soul gems to enchant jewelry to sell and water breathing with petty soul gems can be more expensive than other enchantments as the price is fixed not on the power of the gem so in short i was able to survive the dungeon flooding completely accidentally with the thought of my character now being the Skyrim equivalent of Batman (yeah im a nerd))

@@Dafydd-n5h Morrowind is definitely different. Combat is based on “rolls” so you can miss if you are swinging at them. I’d recommend Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion first. It’s definitely aged, but it’s the closest to Skyrim so you can work your way backwards easily.

I just jumped on the thing the claw was one and it opened back up water didn’t drain tho
the bug I came across Moljnir wasn't floating above his corpse still attached to him etc.
It being 600 instead of 500 is real scummy if you ask me

@ figured it out bro, you can’t just instakill him. He has to go through all stages of the boss fight. Apart of being worthy ig lol

He glitches out when he is in his 3rd health bar he starts to fly all over the god damn room all sporadic like

word of warning dont do this quest with a follower i took serana with me through this quest and when i had to float down that huge hole she wouldnt move any further

They didn't fall down the hole but when I reached the boss room they teleported themselves in with me and we beat thors ass real good for choking me... Then I turned him into a companion lol 🤣
@ I had serana with me and when I went down the hole she did teleport down but didn’t move any further afterwards nor would she move after leaving the dungeon

@@Spacegamer_64 yep you got it mff is the name. Multi follower framework but u need the cheat room spells to remove their faction then set their um love for u to 3 - ally then set them as a follower... Now just talk to them pay'em 100 gold... And their yours. Even Thor Stormherald.
Edit u have to clone Thor 1st... then make the second thor your ally while companions deal with the 1st thor or just kill the 1st thor but sometimes when Thor dies he remains in human form most times he turns to ash tho so u need him to remain in his human form... Loot him using the cheat spell 1st if u pick up the hammer he turns to ash anyways resurrect him remove his faction, set him as an ally, take his gear, teleport to the cheat room, duplicate his gear, keep a set for yourself now teleport back use the cheat spell set/see their inventory give him back all his gear... And yes he uses all the abilities he used against u against your enemies... Even his stormtrance mode.

Mirror puzzle aint working...
For me, standing power attack just summons a bolt of lightning , no storm trance ability
Also when I throw the hammer, it doesn't come back into my hand, it comes back and hovers around me and my right hand becomes empty and is a fist
