That scripted banter where Mike would come back to the workshop and wonder why the job wasn't done yet just got a bit tiresome. Penetrating oil effectiveness is a function of time.
Welcome back, Edd! it is nice to see you wrenching again and the focus being on a quality job without rushing about from the previous series.
I know you never really left but damn I'm glad you're back. We all really missed seeing your mug.
"Meanwhile, while Edd is sorting out the mechanical stuff, Im gonna pop right over to a good friend of mine who refurbishes wheels". "Hello, are you Mike? I am Mike too. Can I use the sandblaster? I like to say that I have done my part in this. Can I push this button?"
Y do you hate Mike so much?

😂
That scripted banter where Mike would come back to the workshop and wonder why the job wasn't done yet just got a bit tiresome. He was actually better in the early seasons where it wasn't quite so formulaic, international viewers would also need to figure out the cockney rhyming slang. "3000 quid ? Are you having a turkish ?" They had to tone down some of the humour as well for the american audience. I remember in one episode he said "of course the electrics are unreliable in this vehicle, it was made in America".
@@djyems1021 - it saves time.
From New Zealand , you are the man . I've learnt so much from your easy to follow approach to fixing cars that most people would run a mile from .you didn't need the other guy as you did most of the work 😀😀keep going Ed
Those have to be one of the most beautiful set of tools and cabinets I’ve seen. As if the almighty had a shop and Edd was a grease apostle.
Truly we've moved back into the blessed timeline.
Also no idea if the editors read through these but it might be worth leaving up comments/questions etc on the screen a bit longer to give people a chance to read them.
What about pausing the video?
@@Carr9T2 I mean that's always an option but the ideal is you don't need to. Having a textbox take up some dead space to the side doesn't really negatively impact anything, vs constantly pausing every now and then.
He read them out. You don’t need to see them at all.
Just the right vehicle to start off with, thanks Edd. I am hoping for a full renovation of that beauty!
Like to see edd with a junior mechanic, guiding him in a parallel project! Way to keep some interaction and pass on that know how and passion.
I agree 👍🏻
News:Edd china's new epsiode streaming on youtube
Fans:I need to watch now
Glad to see you back! You used to have to do all the work under serious time constraints and you can now relax and do it on your own time. I used to work on my own cars until the '80s when started putting in ECUs.
So glad to see Edd on the screen again, My only wish is that these episodes were an hour long.
💯💯
You're back, properly back! OMG EDD CHINA IS BACK! At last! The master has returned, brilliant, so pleased to be able to watch this, been praying since you left the awful one this would happen and here it is 😊
I like how you are breaking up the show. Mechanical and then some questions. Then back to the project .
I'm loving this series, it's great to have edd back.
Yessss fresh Edd, love that you're back and better than ever
Can't wait to see this Range Rover all fixed up and looking clean again! Can't wait for more!
Welcome back Edd.Greetings from Turkey
