Trip Ends Early From Hail and Heavy Rain | 3 Day Solo Backcountry Camping

On my last day in Kawartha Highlands I spent the day viewing a series of waterfalls and cliff-sides as I travelled my way around the remainder on the Long Lake Loop. After a few portages I found myself on my final lake but before setting up camp it started to hail and turned to heavy rain so that is when I decided to push on and finish the loop instead of staying an extra night. All in all it was a great adventure and perfect little trip to start off the season.
