  • A typical Golden Gates Video, Showing the Setting, not finishing the wrap.
I do this so that you can build your awareness of your material. Ask yourself the necessary questions. Is this strong enough? Should I Add more wire? Can I finish with what i have? What would you do next ? IF you want to know what i would do next, follow me on patreon and ask , Much Love GG

I have tried like 5 different tutorials for wire wrapped prong settings, and I have a good feeling about this one. I think this is going to be the one.
Asscher cut is such a fantastic, underrated, and underused cut. It's my favorite, by far!

Dude! I've begun making my own cabs & was annoyed at the thought of having to put so much effort into creating settings. Your vid here just gave me hope that my ADD mind may actually let me do it. Really sorry to hear about your job, but will be back when I'm ready to give this a shot and will find you on Patreon, even if I wind up throwing my hands in the air and just selling the cabs. Seriously, thanks!

I will definitely try your method and see how it works for me!

    Hello GG,
    Thanks for your good movies.
    I've got two questions.
    1.
I would like to create such a facility of prong setting for large stones, for example, a large rough, hexagonal ruby stone, about 4 or cm long.
    2.
I have two anglite stones (they are soft and scratchy, so I have to be careful) in a marquee-like shape, with 3 longitudinal surfaces (triangular width section). I want to make earrings out of them, in which the stones are mounted on such a design of prong setting as pendants.
I would love to receive suggestions and maybe even videos

Ways to get more subscribers and Likes on RUclips:
    1. No music. Don't add music to a demo if you want subscribers. Its very hard on the ears.
    2. What metal wire - steel/ aluminum/ craft wire/ silver plated/ sterling? Makes a difference.
    3. What gauge wire? 20 G? 18 G? 16 G? This is important.
    4. Finish the project. Holding viewers hostage and blackmailing them to see the end of the video, esp when it was a borrowed idea and not even your own, is not good.
    5. Don't make attempts at humor, does not sit well on you and irritates.
    6. Talk less, show more.
