This guy is a great teacher, his voice is clear kind and understanding, it’s as if he knows that he’s teaching amateurs so no over complicating things…Loved it❤
I have tried like 5 different tutorials for wire wrapped prong settings, and I have a good feeling about this one. I think this is going to be the one. Asscher cut is such a fantastic, underrated, and underused cut. It's my favorite, by far!
Dude! I've begun making my own cabs & was annoyed at the thought of having to put so much effort into creating settings. Your vid here just gave me hope that my ADD mind may actually let me do it. Really sorry to hear about your job, but will be back when I'm ready to give this a shot and will find you on Patreon, even if I wind up throwing my hands in the air and just selling the cabs. Seriously, thanks!
Great tut, GG! You made it so easy to follow and did it with your usual sense of humor. Sorry to hear about your job! I hope this means we’ll be seeing more vids from you while you’re looking for another gig.
Great video and I'm glad to see you back. As soon as I'm able I will try to support your channel. Much Love and Blessings to you and everyone here. 🕊💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜🕊
Superb, you make it look so easy. I'm not on Instagram, but I will sort that as I want to support your channel, see more of your lovely work!..thank you..
How is it that this looks so easy when you do it but when I try it, I end up with soooooo much scrap wire and a lot of dings in my wall where the wires hit the pain 😂😂😂 I will definitely try your method and see how it works for me! Thank you for sharing your methods and techniques 💋
Love your videos, and was wondering if this method would work with a round faceted stone as well? If so....will there be a future video featuring this method or other method with a round faceted stone?.....Hopeful😍
Great 👍🏻 thank you very much for the video 👍🏻 do hope and wish to make wire jewellery which is for teenagers so they can afford 👍🏻 so far do have stone so try my best to make 🙏🏻
i know im asking the wrong place but does any of you know of a tool to log back into an Instagram account?? I was stupid lost the password. I would love any help you can give me!
"what is that, the width? length? height?" ok I'm just beginning jewellery making and it's good to know I'm not alone in never quite immediately knowing which is which haha :)
I've inherited a bazillion lose faceted gems.. BUT I have only dabbled with wire, I have no real experience.. I can set so many of these with this technique, thank you so much!!! Will this work with round stones?
Hello GG, Thanks for your good movies. I've got two questions. 1. I would like to create such a facility of prong setting for large stones, for example, a large rough, hexagonal ruby stone, about 4 or cm long. 2. I have two anglite stones (they are soft and scratchy, so I have to be careful) in a marquee-like shape, with 3 longitudinal surfaces (triangular width section). I want to make earrings out of them, in which the stones are mounted on such a design of prong setting as pendants. I would love to receive suggestions and maybe even videos
Ways to get more subscribers and Likes on RUclips: 1. No music. Don't add music to a demo if you want subscribers. Its very hard on the ears. 2. What metal wire - steel/ aluminum/ craft wire/ silver plated/ sterling? Makes a difference. 3. What gauge wire? 20 G? 18 G? 16 G? This is important. 4. Finish the project. Holding viewers hostage and blackmailing them to see the end of the video, esp when it was a borrowed idea and not even your own, is not good. 5. Don't make attempts at humor, does not sit well on you and irritates. 6. Talk less, show more.
Not into having to go somewhere else to see the piece finished. Don't think it's a good idea to be forcing people to pay you to see finished pieces. Blocking your channel because of this. It's a waste of time compared to all the other channels that FINISH stuff. Bye.
One of the best explanations I've seen about wire wrapping on stones with no holes. Excellent tutorial! 👍
This is a great video! I have a box of cut amethyst and see lovely stones all the time that I don’t know how to set. But now I do
Glad it was helpful!

I would need to see some picture to understand , here’s my email and maybe I can help, beanub@gmail.com
This was great but my gem is teardrop shaped 😫x
So for the point of the pear , make the prongs a little closer to hold the point
Thankyou heaps, still trying now though with the same gem,on my 3rd reel of wire 🤣😂,on here again tonight xxx
This setting was created by Raftark Jewelry, he's a genius
👏👏👏👍
👍
Here is the original video this idea was taken from: ruclips.net/video/O9dKFyj_d0s/видео.html
