    Love how you lock in the ring size. My rings tend to get smaller and smaller. I think this will work for a rectangular cab, not emerald cut. I'd just need to position the prong wires at 90 degrees apart. Yes?

    It would be less snagable if you pressed the loops flat to the face . Id just would have folded a double end insead of loops but it is a glass stone so probably lighter.

  • @puggychu

    I like the weaving part of the ring but the setting doesn't seem that secure & I will be afraid of losing the stone when it get snagged on to something then fall out during normal wear.

      Watch Wyatt White video on how to wrap a cocktail ring, he uses three wires, bringing the third wire up around the sides. very secure.

    I am no expert; dare I say a novice to wire weaving/wrapping, and ring shaping. This tutorial has made my understanding of this technique increase exponentially. I can see this video is 1 + years produced, nevertheless I must ask are the kits still available? . Thank you for your expertise.

  • @HumanResource-sp6fg

    I love the weave design for the shank, but there is no way this setting will hold. The wire is way too soft and it has no seating. The first time you hit it , you are going to lose that stone. I would re-do the video with a better setting

    hello - is this flat wire or round?

  • @jimmyhurley504
    @jimmyhurley504 Год назад

    Prongs are too thin for the stone size. Gonna bend the first time it gets snagged. You could modify it easily enough.. As far as tutorials i give it a fair 8 out of 10 overall.

    Everyone is asking things that you have already said or that they can lookup??? Ugh my question is what is the size of your gem? That’s not mentioned nor can I look that up. Can you please let me know? Ty so much! As always people can adjust to their own satisfactions and if this video was so “boring” then don’t watch and skip it instead of “dogging” her.
