    in this video in this video i explained the working principle of single phase / 3 phase, Single Board / plate / circuit card Inverter IGBT or MOSFET, Welder Machine mma 200 / 140 ampere. - Function & Troubleshooting, i demonstrated how to troubleshoot, test and repair igbt dc inverter welder / welding machine.
    this china MMA Inverter IGBT Welding Machine is single phase 220 VAC operated. it have a bridge rectifier which rectifies the main ac voltage into dc voltage, which are connected to pair of dc capacitors through a relay contacts and in parallel 110 ohms ntc resistor. this nts protects from inrush current and upon receiving relay drive signal it switches the rectified voltage to capacitors so, the ntc is bypassed to get full current to drive igbt.
    then these voltage are switched into pulsed dc voltage to drive the primary of the high frequency power transformer, which drives the output schottkey rectifier diodes, which provide the output for welding
    all function is controlled by inverter control board, sg3525 is used to control the pulse width for current mode circuit, low voltage power supply is used to power up the circuit

      best regards for your valuable appreciation
      in your case, first of all verify the dc voltage at main dc capacitor
      then check low voltage power supply for 5 volt 15 -15 volt
      then check the current setting pot
      then verify the IGBT drive, if no drive is there then check control card
      aslo check video number 286, 287, 288, 289, 291, 292 & 293 every video is to discuss each sub section and its components and their function and its test troubleshooting

      best regards and special thanks.
      if it is fluctuating, that means there may be something wrong at inrush protection.
      please check the main relay at input AC voltage (parallel to the NTC / PTC thermistor)
      reply when you verify it. i think this is main cause for restarting of the circuit (causing fluctuation)
      2nd possibility, check low voltage power supply (24 volt smps circuit for regulated voltage)

      sir for you information
      when i measure the output voltage at the transformer it seem too high [40vdc]
      i removed the transformer to have free space
      and i noted that there are a dry solder on a resistor [5.6kohm]
      many thanks for your help
      the machine have already test and deliver to the customer

      first bridge rectifier is operated through soft starter circuit, then it is directly connected to line voltage, because it is high power circuit

    I received a single board. there was not any igbt. when i install 60T60 it doesn't do anything. when i install 60N60 its runs normally but igbt get hot within few seconds even bulb in series and without any load. do you have any idea what could be the season ? Thanks

    I have this welding machine that doesn't weld. i noticed the IGBTs were gone. i have removed and replaced but it still not welding. on the multimeter at 200-ohms reading, the resistance is 20-ohm from gate to source even when mosfet are absent
    am i missing something

      yes we can.
      in welding machine the feedback is based on output current
      to convert it to voltage regulation, the feedback will be converted to voltage mode feedback
