Going for the 3 exp links first is not the best move. If your account is brand new some of the damage links will benefit you a lot more than the exp ones if they reduce the number of hits required to kill mobs.
I don’t agree. I think it’s the best to train those three, and try to fill out ATT / Magic ATT in legion. This is from my experience, and I started my account just a few months ago.
When I first started about 2 years ago I had a free burn to 200 and I remember taking my friends advice and going for Mercedes 210 as my first character.... man... without any damage it felt terrible, nowadays its not so bad to level and such but without any additional damage, even with faf gear, it was hell to grind that out. If I was smart I probably would've started with something stronger back then like Kanna. I don't regret doing it but it certainly gets less painful if you start with some damage links.
@@Nyxilious best first char will always be Aran for me. Nice dmg, basically needs no potions, and does really good in training and bossing. Mercedes is too squishy to start, must have been hard for you.
@@SamDaBest look i dont play reboot and dont know if what you suggest is enough to be oneshotting, but evan and mercedes can be very miserable to play. Aran is the only one of them that i would recommened being in your first 5 characters. I would always suggest starting with kanna as she has great base damage and gives an amazing link for early game
Hey CopperSan! I just want to tell u that i came back to Maple this month and its bcz of ur videos! Love'em. Last time i played this game was like 2011! hahaha
This video was super helpful at least for me being a returning player that hasn’t played since pre BB and every guide I’ve seen was outdated not being sure if it was still useable. So kudos for updating to something I can actually use! Would be great for an updated gear progression guide and/or a video on what to be aiming at certain points in game starforce/flame/ect since that’s where I’m struggling in. But great stuff
I like the hayato link skill early on because it's so easy to get. There's a lot of important skills you want lv. 3, and getting a hayato to lv 120 is good value for the low amount of time it takes. Will help you breeze through those initial levels on all the mules.
I'm using this video to strategize on what to level with the 10-100 boosts going on right now :) looks like the basic idea is crit first, then fill in after for whatever content you're doing so I will work on getting those first~ do you have any specific leveling order you would recommend, like class specific? I know some classes are easier to level than others and may benefit from the boost, but I am unsure of which these are.
Isn’t flat att/matt on links better than dmg% as the dmg links don’t give final dmg? Or am i wrong? I’ve been rocking the flat stat links this whole time 😅
I don't get it, how do I get enough character slots? Like... multiple Mercedes? I don't understand. Am I actually going to need to have like 30-40+ characters for these? I only got like 11-12 slots on reboot.
@@dylancessna3160 glad to help, btw multiple of the same class will not stack in legion, like multiple Mercedes will not give you more than 1 skill cooldown reduction and same link skills wont stack either.
@@dylancessna3160 you’re right, those are the special ones, I just didn’t want you making multiple classes like Mercedes and think you’d be able to get multiple exp boost link skills.
I completely disagree with getting mercedes 3rd. Her 2nd job is actually dogshit and it was such a slog to get 70.... I definitely would suggest getting at least 1-2 damage % links before trying to get mercedes. I made this mistake like 3 weeks ago when i started playing.
Hey cooper, why dont u make a video breakdown about link skill. U mixed everything into this one. It doesnt help new player at all. Do a break down like this 1- Leveling Link + Legion 2- Damege Link + Legion 3- Bossing Link + Legion 4- Farming Link + Legion Also which one u should aim first for each bracket!! That's 4 more videos idea for you!!
He goes through so much information so fast it gets stressful listening to him!! Just slow down and explain what you are doing. I know he does it to be fast and that sucks.
Getting mercedes to level 3 link skill was so draining. To the point I spent nx on a pet with all the bells and whistles just for the grind specifically and i hated everything about that class. Its my boss mule now because the the oppressive 1v1 damage it outputs but i hated farming with it and it was easier to just jump spam the spin attack so my alt and shift key put in some work. After i get all 30 of my characters to 200 and begin the grind to 260 for them. It will be one of the last classes I do again and i will 100% be doing double xp buffs and legion potions on it..
great video but, for bossing links i would recommend not taking rhinne blessing nor spirit of freedom unless you have absolutely 0 hands but there are situational characters that do benefit from it but most classes do not need it. rhinne blessing only gives 10% ied which is absolutely useless since there's so many ways to get ied different ways that its basically a waste of link spot and the -15% damage reduction doesn't work against boss attacks
Spirit of Freedom is very useful-especially for mules (where you least care to sweat). Good for stalling for your burst, set up your burst, or put yourself in a better position during common chaotic situations and mechanics like Gollux, Chaos Zakum, Chaos Vellum, Hard Magnus, Chaos Papalatus, Lotus, Gloom, Lucid and Will's mechanics... etc.
@@RosebudsGMS so no hands like i said if you can't get to will without wasting a link space then get good my guy, i understand people struggling bm+ but most of yall wont get there anyways

9 set boss Accessory and von Leon set until you get CRA
The set effect from both are very good and work in synergy
