IMO, work on main first! Make sure your main is at least 235 and able to efficiently clear arcane dailies. This lets you trade lomien and hellux runs to get your other characters established and skip some of the annoying progression steps. In addition, I prefer to make mules during events like the previous one, which allows you to get multiple event rings just from coin capping.
Take advantage of the root abyss shoes, gloves in black market at grandis, zak cape, pb belt, and japanese equips for fodder to starforce transfer for absolab if you don't have any spares or want to do anymore of those lousy scrapyard weeklies. I personally try to get all my bossing mules to mostly legendary with 15-21% stat and 16-17* equips and that's enough to kill up to lotus and damien at a comfortable speed.
Appreciate this! Currently struggling with a BM main (first char on reboot) but i think i just need to focus on getting it to 220 for that absolab and not worry too much about bossing until then. Just stick to the bosses i can do and then focus on gear after that.

Different classes have different needs for stats due to their own passive skills giving them stats, so unless you're talking about paladin, you could tell us what class you're playing so that its easier to tell you
I have a ton of characters between 200-210 who can only clear easy cyg and hard hilla lol. The hard and fun part is figuring out which one to boost and invest into so I can get into CRA

I main mages, so I started with Kanna (can do up to Lucid), then main my Lara atm. I do have other bossing mules to boost dmg like I/L (though I want to change to FP soon), and BT. I'd like to build Merc and Cadena as bossing mules, but i feel too lazy to level them up from 140 to 200+ :joy:

I didnt mention it on purpose because every class has different needs for their inners. And if you're working on bossing mules you should already be aware of those.
The shanghai quest has the best totems but they aren't permanent and are a pain to keep replacing. But there are permanent totems from the afterlands themed dungeon at level 75. There not as good but I'd rather have permanent ones I don't have to worry about. Warning though the afterlands themed dungeon is extremely long and convoluted. Coppersan actually has a video of him doing it you could follow along with.
I already have 7 bossing mules that can do at least czak, but also i do with another 30 mules easy cygnus so per week i make almost 1 billion meso (in regular server) is tiring? Yeah, but is worth it
Okay, so I got most of the gear that Coppersan has but a lot of the Cubing is made difficult, due to MapleSEA charging its players with Cash rather than Mesos. Anyone got any tips for collecting or gathering Cubes? Maybe even which Cubes to get as recommendations? Just any tips would be helpful, since MapleSEA is severely P2W on double if not triple the rate of GMS.

Btw, I understand it means sacrificing SF vs Fafnir top+bot but given that you can get most of the set via Julietta with ez Epic pots for free and partially scrolled, the meso-saving side of going Amaterasu / Wolf etc has become a bit of a favourite for me (adding in the 160 weapon for full set), which also allows for keeping a 7-piece Boss set alongside it. Any reason you’d say not a good idea for bossing mules?

I've recently started up on reboot and, while I can already deal with chaos zakum on my night walker, my ied stands at a sad 79%, though it will climb over 80 once my Lumi reaches 210 (only one level left). I think I'm seriously hurting for gold and I'm struggling with a lack of potential scrolls and occult cubes to hit double epic lines, and master craftsmen cubes are a little on the expensive side for my current income. Should I just grind my links and legion aside from the events at the moment?
I would say do all the bosses you can easily do, everyday on all characters over 140+ (even if the lower level ones can only do low end bosses.) These will net you money from the boss drops (Sales to the collector,) and quite a few free cubes. Also, make sure you do Ursus Daily during 2x, & maple tour daily. JUST w/ ursus daily & maple tour daily, you can net 450+ mil / week. Get cubes from boss drops and funnel them all to your DB if that's the route you wish to go. As for potential scrolls, there are a few quests you can do that give them & doing Mu Lung weekly can get you points to buy potential scrolls from the trader.

Tbh, choosing absolab 17* is totally not worth it, is best if u could go for Faf + Absolab + CRA helm to trigger set bonus from both item. this way, it is more effective than a 17* absolab weapon, 15* DOM pend is much more better

Getting to 220 is good enough for CVellum because first of all, it's so fast to level up each of three Arcane symbols to 8 level, so you can get an easy 3k stats. Secondly, you will have enough free node slots at this level.

Hey Coppersan, I’ve only relatively-recently returned to MS, and I’ve heard that paladin’s survivability means that he’s basically unkillable in CRA. So I’ve been kicking around the idea of making like 10-20 paladins and having them all clear CRA week after week for mesos. Does this sound like a good idea from a veteran player’s standpoint or is there something I’m missing?
2 major things even if you can ignore mechanics if you go for a barely enough stat to kill cra it will take you around 1 hour per character to do all your bossing up to cra if you only do cra 3 doors and cvell better just investing on a couple lomien mules and it will have better meso rates vs time bossing without counting the time and mesos you will need to invest and the legion card effects you will be missing example (jett shade and hayato for crit damage kanna for bossing damage ) or links skills example (kanna demon slayer, phantom, demon avenger, kain, explorer thiefs, explorer mages, angelic buster, luminous, ark) you can technically still just make a lot a paladins but from the point of view of account progression is not wise to create a single class multiple times

@@gameknight102xx usually people that is on end-game or close to end-game with their main class make the same class again to do like properly progression but for good or for bad maplestory requires you to play almost every class at least once what im planning to do is to pick 2 warriors (already done with these 2 my main adele and secondary dawn warrior future cosmo magic warrior) mages, thiefs, pirates and archers to eventually do 10 lomien mules i really like most of the classes and now since im reaching a point on my main where progression requires billions of meso per equips i will start investing on mules don't plan to do more than 10 mules because currently i do up to lomien on 2 mules and 1 cra mule and its already taking me a bit of time

you forgot ranmaru gear from hard ranmaru. they're good fodders for absolab gear for hammer transfer and good temporary as epics

In normal server this means 5 bossing mule for 1b as per weekly bosses give only up to 240m per char

There’s a lot better solo bossers. Both IL and FP are fantastic. Bishop tho is amazing for team bossing for buffs.

Fafnir is better, so do it asap. If it looks worse, its because the flaming/potential/starforce is not good.

You always pick two handed weapons if possible, the increased damage is better.
