350 miles in range in Swedish winter. I’m part of Volvo team and we did the work with polestar team on polestar 3 and 4 in Sweden Gothenburg. The polestar cars is the greatest evs on the roads.
Cool. Tried to sit in both of them a couple of weeks ago, and I have to say Polestar 4 gave a better feeling than Polestar 3. Both in front and in the backseat. Do you agree with me on this?
I am so excited for this. I’m just getting into Polestar and while I’ll probably never be able to afford the 4, I always rent a 2 when I want to escape the city for a bit. And it’s just such an awesome experience. I’ve been looking for a good EV to latch on to. And as much as I want to like Tesla (the acceleration on those things is just pure joy on a highway on ramp), I just can’t support a garbage human like Musk.
@@itselectricvideos Never been a fan of Volvos designs. Too much body vs window ratio. Imho it looks too much like a Skoda Enyaq, which I would, if I had a gun to my head, would choose over the Pole Star. Sorry.
Great idea but they haven’t solved the problem of the water on the camera. It blurs the entire picture worse than water on a rear window as the camera only requires a couple of drops to ruin the vision. I am dying to see the Polestar 5 launch as the pre concept looks amazing.
@donoakes85 Oh, and the have no flush or something? Should Maybe installed air blower, heator or something? I agree about the Polestar 5. Looks amazing! You've seen my video about it? ruclips.net/video/S7hKaHHbkW4/видео.html
It's a good looking car, but prices for these cars are a bit too high for regular people. About software. Google make the software and is thought to be among the best.
I agree with you. Polestar 2 is a bit cheaper and may be the ev for regular People. I also thought that the software from Google would be awsome, but based on comments on the videos og Polestar there seems to be a lot of People complaining about it. You havent?
@@itselectricvideos I just sat in it and tested the infotainment. Feels like an Android system nothing bad and you can use voice commands. Better than most.
I see. I'd be surprised if Google wouldnt deliver as expected. I guess Tesla and Google are the top notch and the others have a Long way to go catch up.
@@itselectricvideos that is assuming that the P3 and P4 sells well . P4 will be launched in China soon and so far from what I gather , competition is very tough even from its own sister brands like Lynk & Co which is more affordable. As for the P3 , let's hope it will launch on schedule this time and no more delay...which was what had caused the stock price to take a massive beating when it was delayed this year
Oh I wish they did, but no. Just a big fan of their evs. And sorry to hear that you found the video average. I'd love to hear how we could made it better so that we can improve the channel for future videos to make you all Come back for more.
Polestar has crap software. Nothing to see here. Head lamps are lame. No NACs - Crap charging network. Looks aren’t everything. 3.8 - 0-60? It’s not that fast. My 2016 MX is faster 8 years later. 😂
Well, at least some of those things you mentioned is going to change: Polestar on June 29 signed an agreement with Tesla to adopt the new North American Charging Standard (NACS) which will enable access to Tesla's expansive Supercharger network for all Polestar drivers in the U.S. and Canada
Charging network? Only Tesla have their own network and they have to allow other cars to use it by law. Yes the charging speed isn’t so great but it is reliable and well made. Neither can be said for the more expensive Tesla.
@@fearnpol4938 Tesla doesn’t have to let anyone to use their charging network. There is no law that says they have to open it up either. In fact, TESLA changed the name from TESLA SUPERCHARGERS to NACS (North American Charging Network) to basically get people from stop using CSS. As for your “well-made” comment, I now have 88k miles on our MODEL X from 2016. We have never had it serviced other than tires. I have never in my life have ever owned a car with 0% maintenance and in fact, my car is faster today than when I bought it. I own a lot of cars and swap them out every 2 to 3 years. My BMW X5M had panel gap issues and a $3600 brake job at 47k miles. My Aston Martin has had electrical issues. My A7 has had brakes, air conditioning and window alignment issues totaling $6,500. My 2022 Mercedes had panel gaps issues that could not be resolved and oil leaking in my garage, pissed me off. My Maserati is littered with maintenance issues. Beautiful car, but our TESLA has spoiled me. I never knew a car where I could just drive it. I bought it because my wife liked it. Brakes have about 15% wear after 88k miles. Best car I have ever owned. Blown away…
@@itselectricvideos this is why you don’t buy a damn polestar until it has fully adapted NACS. Until then, morons are buying outdated tech and the value of their car will drop considerably the moment they add NACS to their new cars. No reason to buy a polestar right now with brutal charging.

I really have to try the Polestar 2 to compare it to Tesla Model 3. Have you tried Tesla Model 3?
One second into the video if that first one feature isn’t self charging, then it’s not worth it. Let’s watch the rest of the video to find out
Watched the entire video and there is nothing there of interest to make me purchase a pole star, unless I was at a strip club.
😅What about the design? Do you like it?

Doesnt matter if it goes from 0-60 miles/h in 3 seconds, if the range is less than 350 miles, that's garbage range
The cars range on numbers is 380 to 390 miles. In reality in Swedish winter it does 340 to 370 miles.
Good company run by a characterless CEO and hopeless PR team
I agree that he's not exactly Elon Musk, but who is 😅
But if you were running Polestars PR team, what would be the first thing you would change?
