Nice video! What does it mean by torque steer? What do you think of Highlander should I buy one?

@@innovationcafe7478 torque steer is when a vehicle is front wheel drive and the open differential sends more power to one wheel than the other causing the steering wheel to go in that direction unintentionally. That’s why cars like the Civic Si and Integra manual, have a limited slip differential which allows the car to appropriate equal amounts of power to both wheels so you don’t experience torque steer. The Mazda 3Speed is notorious for horrendous torque steer. You can probably find some good videos of the Mazda 3Speed displaying really bad torque steer.

@@innovationcafe7478 and yes! The Highlander is a great vehicle with solid reliability and good resale value.

@@innovationcafe7478 I’d be remiss to not tell you to cross shop the CX-90 Mazda as well. Similar price point and MUCH nicer to drive and live with. Similar maintenance and warranty as well and it’s a beautiful vehicle.

Yeah I don’t like that it shuts off when you unlock the door after remote starting it. That leads me to believe that you wouldn’t have to give it a “true” start like with an Acura if it didn’t shut down which makes it prone to theft. IDK?🤷🏽‍♀️

Yeah I think it’s a safety measure but with an Acura, if you don’t have the key, it won’t unlock. If you’re desperate and break the window, it won’t go into gear, and will shut off as soon as you hit the start button. So Toyota needs to copy Honda/Acura and allow the car to stay on.
