Thats a tough question. I think it boils down to.. are you after amenties or efficiency? With the Platinum you'll be getting everything except the hybrid MAX engine. The MAX Limited will miss out on the Drivers HUD and I think the panoramic roof. The MAX Limited does get better fuel efficiency in the city... but I think its a wash on the hwy. My opinion is the Toyota GH will NOT get a v6. Outside of the Tundra/Supra I dont think any other Toyotas will get a V6. That will stay exclusive to Lexus to help seperate the brands. Could you tell me how many inches are there from the interior top of the driver side windshield to each sunroof? If I understand correctly, the 3rd row can only accommodate 1 child seat with anchors (Right seat) There are 2 tether strap anchors on the 3rd row ( Right and Center seat). Thank you for the compliments! I'm not a mechanic or an expert but I think that since its a turbo engine it will require more care and maintenance. I'm not seeing any recalls for it so that's good considering some of the other new vehicles out there already have some. Toyota has been pretty reliable and they are using hybrids across a lot of their fleet so I would give them the benefit of the doubt and hopefully these will be some reliable engines. Thank you for the feedback! All of the GH's transmissions are electronically controlled. There is a gear select knob/grip to select what gear you want. It is not a rotary control or anything like that. Does that answer your question?
I don't know that I can give you a number, but I would say work with any dealer that doesn't have markups or silly add-ons on top of the MSRP. What you see is what you get for the most part with Toyota. If you want the upgrades you have to spend more to move up. A lot of people complain about the difference between the similar Toyota vs Lexus models. Your not gonna get the premium features without spending the money. This is true with most manufacturers
Very hard at the moment to find the right grand highlander hybrid with with te desired specs... I guess not many ppl want the bench second row seat or even finding a hybrid Limited is kinda rare.. It's either XLE and Max atm or gas in most cases.

Not much of an advantage for the platinum over the limited. I hate the friction tilt wheel and think both limited and platinum should have a power tilt wheel. None of them have leather on the doors or center console.

Thank you for the feedback! From a quick check the biggest difference is just that the GH has Toyotas latest and greatest. The regular highlander is now a generation behind. Engine is pretty much the same, seating capacity the same... but the GH seems to have better tech and more standard conveniences across the board.

Every 4 cylinder turbo I have seen in the past requires premium gas. They will never last as long or be as trouble free as the V6, which gets the same amount of MPG and power.

Thank you for the feedback. Unfortunately I dont believe the Grand Highlander can do any EV only miles. The hybrid motor just assists the engine. Thank you for the feedback! All of the GH's transmissions are electronically controlled. There is a gear select knob/grip to select what gear you want. It is not a rotary control or anything like that. Does that answer your question?

I don't know that I can give you a number, but I would say work with any dealer that doesn't have markups or silly add-ons on top of the MSRP. No has explained evry single trim better than you. Question, do you know if the GH Hybrid limited is coming a sunroof or is something that you can add on??

I see one in Tampa Bay on transit with almost 6k add on for xle hybrid for more the 58k 😮 I think the Telluride is going to be better option

The packages for the Grand Highlander appear a little sparse, at least at this time (just answered this in another question as well) The only package options appear to be for 8 passenger seating or for the panoramic roof. It seems if you want upgrades, Toyota wants you to go to the next higher model/trim. Appreciate the question. Thank you for dropping in and commenting!
What you see is what you get for the most part with Toyota. If you want the upgrades you have to spend more to move up. A lot of people complain about the difference between the similar Toyota vs Lexus models. Your not gonna get the premium features without spending the money. This is true with most manufacturers
I still don't get why they went with the softex and "leather trimmed" crap instead of full leather like the Palisade and Telluride.
The normal hybrid only gets 175 lb ft of torque?? Doesnt that feel a bit anemic from stationary?

Very hard at the moment to find the right grand highlander hybrid with with te desired specs... I guess not many ppl want the bench second row seat or even finding a hybrid Limited is kinda rare.. It's either XLE and Max atm or gas in most cases.

Not much of an advantage for the platinum over the limited. I hate the friction tilt wheel and think both limited and platinum should have a power tilt wheel. None of them have leather on the doors or center console.

This guys monotone voice and the speed with which he was talking, did not make this video, at all hard to follow. I am still stuck on trying to fiqure out which trims are which. Theres the xle, hybrid xle, limited, hybrid max limited, platnium, and hybrid max platnium. After that I have no idea 🤔

My friend got hoghlander hybrid LE 2023 on jun 4th and grand highlander hybrid was in store on jun 27th dealer did not told him that GH is coming and he just called 3 or 4 dealers and got onecavailable in lot and he paid 44k msrp with titke tax excluded
Now he is regretting bcz xle hybrid grand high 2024 is just $600 more
My question is his highlander has safety 2.5 not 3.0

Thank you for the feedback! From a quick check the biggest difference is just that the GH has Toyotas latest and greatest. The regular highlander is now a generation behind. Engine is pretty much the same, seating capacity the same... but the GH seems to have better tech and more standard conveniences across the board.

Can't stand the thin tires on the upper models. Standard tires for me, forever.
The rear is a super sized rav4 and the front is super sized Chevy spark.

I looked at the grand highlander last week, what a disappointment, the inside looks so cheap
No tail pipes for platinum and limited hybrid. What a joke!
Every 4 cylinder turbo I have seen in the past requires premium gas. They will never last as long or be as trouble free as the V6, which gets the same amount of MPG and power.
Toyota needs to put the v6 back in the game!
Right….. semi trucks are turbocharged and they only last 2-3 million miles….
