  • In this video I show you what's been happening why I had to pull the Carb the spark plugs, flush out the fuel line etc. The day after this video came out put the rebuilt carb back in adjusted the linkage put one of the rebuilt oil pressure gauges in as well idle and air screw adjusted it is entirely adjustable and it no longer smokes. WD40 works great for taking off a stuck intake gasket.

Even better than what I show here i put it all back together the next day ran it from a clean source of gasoline and it ran fine able to adjust the idle and no more smoke.. Have a nice clean running engine but to keep it running I need a decent fuel tank. But it's running an i know it will drive too

yes a lot of work has been done but have to figure out a new temporary gas tank. but the work being done should never had to be done if the guy I bought the carb was straight with me. So having to do double work I shouldn't have. Thanks for watching

Ron deserves all the credit for rebuilding the parts I just cleaned each section of the carb with my ultrasoinc cleaner. But we need to get this right so we don't ruin the engine anymore than it has been. Thanks for watching Frank

Great seeing you Larry, man Ron's been busy! Nice that he is staying busy while being laid up. LOL Man that acetone really got some gunk out of there!

Yes the acetone sure cleared out that varnish is the fuel lines. Had an idea to hang a small fuel tank off the rear of the truck temporarily. Gas prices here finally stating to come down under $5 a gallon. we were at $6 a gallon in January. Cheapest station here now is the 7/11 down the street at $4.52 a gallon
