That is so random.
I test drove one and it was a lot of fun. It was a beast on the expressway and had the feel of a Lexus when I wasn’t on it. I’m going to wait a year or so and pick one up for sub-$50k

If you are going to finance, around Jan-Feb Lexus normally offers 0.9% on certified GS.

I like the exhaust sound on this one! This would be a nice daily driver. As you said it’s smooth cruising when you want it to be, but the V8 comes alive when you activate sport plus mode. The old Lincoln kept you out of trouble 😂

Matthew Oesch I have this car as a daily, it’s like a Japanese version of e39 m5. Not the fastest but it still has the old school sports sedan feel in this modern day.

A GS F with a V8 should NOT be quieter. What would be the point in having a car with that power and engine and you want it to be quiet...
I love the V8 sound and the feeling of power when accelerating. The Powertrain noise is great but my complaint, which I should have specified m, is the road noise when just cruising. For being a luxury car, I was expecting that to be better. It’s hard to have both performance sound and quietness for smooth driving
@@PrimeAutotainment Noise may be due to sporty wide low profile tires with stiff short sidewalls for maximum steering precision. Better to compare noise levels back to back with a BMW M5 or Benz E63.
The noise is due to installing normal side windows in the GSF instead of double pane in the GS350. Most likely for weight saving purposes or to allow more engine noise to get into the cabin
You haven't pushed it to the limit. My gsf is a beast. Why have a quiet car if you driving a beast. Drive a Honda accord lmfao.

How can A v8 be any quieter? If anyone had that they would definitely be suspicious of the engine. You want a quieter engine you go for the V6
It’s not the Powertrain noise...it’s wind and road noise. It’s possible to have a serene cabin when RPMs are low...and still awesome Powertrain noise otherwise. I love the engine noise...but road noise and wind noise was significantly higher than mainstream vehicles

do you have the engine sound piping through the stereo or do you have that turned off?
You bet! It was super fun to drive and sounded great. Most of the video I do. The “ASC” active sound control is a button next to steering wheel and part of it I had it off, but most of it on. It still has a nice induction sound with it off, but there’s more noise with it on
Definitely my dream car.
Also, can’t compare the Sportage and CX 9 to the GS F in sound.
Its a sweet ride! Haha I know, they’re nothing alike...just expected it to be quieter when cruising at highway speeds and RPMs are super low

I just saw this car two days ago and it was BORING looking. Now, it was in a dull black color and it needed to be washed, but nothing about this car was nice looking. Of the cars in this class, i say the BMW M3 CS and Audi RS5 are the nice looking ones. C63 AMG looks like a bug, M4 could use some style, Alfa Romeo QV looks better in real life but it could use some style too. DULL LOOKING
But on the top notch this is more reliable
That mouse pad thing is horrible. I would not get one with that feature again.
