      That sounds fantastic! Tallow is indeed a wonderfully nourishing ingredient with a rich history of use in skincare. It’s packed with essential fatty acids and vitamins that can be incredibly beneficial for the skin. Your addition of castor oil, frankincense, lavender, and carrot seed oil sounds like it will make a lovely and well-rounded product. I’m sure your friends will appreciate the effort and thought you’ve put into creating a natural, chemical-free option. Sharing your passion and knowledge can really help others understand and appreciate the benefits of these nourishing ingredients. Thank you for sharing

    Hi I use the same tallow:) question : I just blended with the oil without heating it came very soft… I noticed all people heat first and than blend it why u need to heat the tallow?

    • @beautybooster_diy4848
      @beautybooster_diy4848  2 дня назад +1

      The reason for heating the tallow and oil before blending is to ensure that the tallow fully melts and mixes evenly with the oil. Tallow is solid at room temperature, and heating it helps to break it down, making it easier to blend smoothly with the oil. This results in a consistent, creamy texture once it cools. If you skip the heating step, you might end up with a softer, less uniform mixture, which is what you might experience. Heating also helps to better incorporate any other ingredients you might be adding. Hope this helps!

    Any way to still make the balm without using any oil(s)? I avoid them like the plague...

    • @beautybooster_diy4848
      @beautybooster_diy4848  Год назад +1

      A balm is oils & butters, you could so something like - 1/4 cup beeswax
      1/4 cup cocoa butter
      1 tablespoon shea butter
      1 teaspoon vitamin E oil but that still contains butter, but a good base to build on if you don't want liquid oils. If you wanted to add tallow replace the cocoa butter with tallow.

    Can you freeze extra for future use? Thank you!

    • @beautybooster_diy4848
      @beautybooster_diy4848  2 месяца назад

      Freezing my tallow face cream can help preserve it by slowing down oxidation and microbial growth. Storing it in an airtight container is crucial to prevent any freezer burn or absorption of other odours. Thawing it in the refrigerator overnight or at room temperature for a few hours before using it ensures it's ready for application.

    Where i live its very hot n humid weather, so to keep it in room temperature or in refrigerator?

    • @beautybooster_diy4848
      @beautybooster_diy4848  2 месяца назад

      In hot and humid climates, it's essential to store this cream properly to maintain its quality. Due to the heat it can soften or even melt, affecting the consistency of the cream. To prevent this, store it in a cool, dark place away from direct sunlight. If your room temperature exceeds average levels, consider keeping it in the refrigerator to maintain its solidity and prevent separation. Ensure the container is tightly sealed to prevent moisture absorption. Before use, allow it to come to room temperature to soften slightly for easier application.

    Y’all add Spilanthes Extract for Botox effect

    • @beautybooster_diy4848
      @beautybooster_diy4848  2 месяца назад +2

      When adding Spilanthes Extract to the oil-based face cream, proceed with caution. Dilute it adequately to prevent potential skin irritation. If the Spilanthes extract is water-based, it's advisable to incorporate a preservative into the cream to prevent microbial growth. Conversely, if the extract is oil-based, a preservative may not be necessary, but ensure proper storage to maintain the cream's integrity.

    Seed oil is a non no for the body. Research

    • @beautybooster_diy4848
      @beautybooster_diy4848  2 месяца назад +4

      Seed oils like jojoba, rosehip seed, grapeseed, sunflower, and argan oil are great for hydration and are generally non-comedogenic, meaning they won't clog pores. However, some seed oils, especially heavier ones, may not suit all skin types and could cause breakouts or irritation. It's essential to choose the right oil for your skin type and patch-test before using it extensively in your skincare routine.
