Just...wow! I had my doubts that it would be worth 20 hours on a bus, but it seems I was very wrong! Between the salt polygons, the island and cacti, a beautiful sunset, and a look into the local culture, this seems like a phenomenal excursion!

The salt flat looks amazing! I loved seeing the sharp and distinct difference between the endless salt flat polygons and the Cacti and rocks rising above. What an interesting place; certainly worth a lengthy bus ride! So glad you got an opportunity to visit one of Earth's wonderous places. So cool. It was pretty spectacular and my favorite of three really excellent excursions that I took while in Bolivia! That sunset was next level!
I think still there is a plane from la paz to uyini i took it some time ago.

I especially loved the shot at the end with your extremely long shadow in the background!
I thought that was very cool, as well. I didn't notice how lengthy that shadow was until I looked at the footage on my computer!
