Hi nice video. Was this tour going clockwise oposide to the standard route where you visit salt flats on the first day? Why did they do it this way? Did you have a choice to do the standard route instead? What are the advantages going this way? Im considering to book a tour with this tour operator. Thanks
That's a good question! We didn't really have a choice. The standard group (which starts with salt flats) probably didn't fill up on our dates and we were joined with a group that began a day earlier. I don't think there is much difference, except that when you start from the salt flats - the altitude is lower and there is more time to get used to it. We took special pills for the altitude, so it went more or less well.
