Being honest, your channel has been both a blessing and a curse. I now have a difficult time watching other channels. Many of the solo riders come across as self-absorbed and dramatic. The others riding with their partners come across as corny and fake. You both come across as people I would not only love to ride with but have a beer with. Thank you for the great videos and for ruining the rest of RUclips for me.
For a moment there I was thinking what could be interesting about a salt flat, how wrong I was, quite extraordinary and a amazing. Thanks guys, this was worth waiting for, what a place to visit. And the Train Cemetary also. Hope you enjoyed the 'hotel', that has to be a unique location. Great video.
The ambience of your ride very beautiful and amazing. We can see in your video this time that it offers a very interesting view of Bolivian salt flats. Thank you for sharing it with us. 👍👍👍
I watched a couple of your videos before finding this channel. Do you collaborate? I'm binging on the channel and notice similarities in music, map animation and editing style. Do you use the same editing service?
@@Wheels2Dirt Ahoy! Since you're responding to 2up & Overloaded's comment, I'm not sure your questions are directed at us, or them... But, I (Chad) can tell you that despite having met Tim & Marisa a couple of times on the road, we have never ridden together or collaborated. Rose and I do 100% of our own editing, including music selection. I use a wide-array of genres from Roots Rock to Acid Jazz, but since I don't really watch any one else's content I can tell you that any similarities are either just parallel thought, or other creators borrowing our soundtracks (which unfortunately, is becoming common). My musical selections are an intentional middle-finger to status quo of overly-dramatic music set to sub-par riding footage. Sometimes it hits, other times it misses, but either way, it's 100% authentic...

An articulated Garratt, built by Beyer Peacock UK. Three parts to it, water up front then boiler, last the tender; configuration 4-8-2 2-8-4 (8 being the driving wheels having weight of water and fuel directly above them, traction) Boiler in between. Thinking way back to my childhood and our half train half bus 2 day journey to boarding school in Mbeya up in the highlands of Tanganyika near the border with Northern Rhodesia aka Malawi as it’s called, I digress, due the extreme gradient of the rail track I am sure we had one of these massive iconic powerful steam engines to haul us up.

Another GREAT video. Too bad about the drone. My first drone, a Mavic first generation, while I was on a motorcycle ride, the vibration dislodged the gimbal/camera protection. Some of the very fragile gimbal wires broke. I tried only changing the wires but I failed, my lack of fine motor skills... So I bought a new gimbal/camera, easy plug and play. It still works today. Another drone, the air, had routine calibration problems and would not fly outside of the US. I changed the accelerometer and it worked very well since then. Until I was in the Majuro Atoll, in the middle of the pacific, on a very windy day and I got greedy, and took it up and it flew away into the lagoon and had no power to come back. The battery eventually died and it sank. LOL. Anyway, great photos, great story, can't wait to see the next chapter.
Thank you!! That little DJI mini lived a good life. Lost it a few times, crashed it more than once... We got the mini 3 pro, which was a huge upgrade. But that hasn't stopped me from losing it and crashing it... 😅
