It was so natural and amazing. Pity they ‘man made’ and ‘tourified’ the experience now. Can we not leave anything natural?

Wow, what a place! Small correction though, they don't "add sodium" to the salt before it gets packaged. Metallic sodium is highly reducing, and free sodium does not occur in nature. Table salt is sodium chloride. I assume that what gets added to that is "soda" (sodium carbonate).
Salt plains are in Kutch in Gujarat India . During winter they have special festival called rann utsav. They look similar . I have been in Gujarat India.
Visited Bolivia few years ago to film one of our TV show episode and my guide told me the horizon here is the closest you can get to the edge of the Earth. My inner conspiracy theorist is taking notes lmao. Kidding aside, it must one of those mind-bending places we've visited!
