I love how they made this scene to help people of all ages who don't have a degree in genetics help understand how they made dinosaurs in a very fun and cute way.
Mitosis is the splitting of cells to create new ones. Interrupting it means having control of how the new DNA strands split to prevent any complications, since we're dealing with spliced DNA.
I would believe this statement if it had to deal with actual dinosaurs but because in the movie they explained how they had to fill in the dna with other animals because of “missing” code. Therefore the behavior of the “genetically modified” dinosaurs is different compared to real ones from millions of years ago. That’s just my take on it. I would love to hear what you think about my thoughts!!!
You see, a few years back on a routine dig for dinosaur fossils, a landslide broke out and nearly broke my leg in two! They had to operate quickly, so they used the dinosaur bone i found to fix my leg. Ever since, I’ve had what they call DINO DNA. The doctor says it makes me stronger than your average joe.
There was a movie that came out in the 1950 called Destination Moon, about a private venture to land people on the moon. In one scene they use a special Woody Woodpecker cartoon to describe how flying to and landing on the moon would work. I think that's where Spielberg got the idea for this scene.
He meant to ask if they were "animatronics" but forgot/confused the words. It's more for comedic effect than some sort of actual important piece of dialogue.
hey guys what would happen if us humans extinguished gorillas from king Kong & after that we as us humans make bio synthetic hybrid DNA splicing of both chickens turkeys & komodo dragons then we bio synthetically engineered & it depends on how you bio synthetically engineer them in stuff that's all of course
IRL, there's very little chance of finding any living Dinosaur DNA in a mosquito preserved in amber. And even if there is, the holes would be too big to fill to create any sort of complete code. And even if they weren't, the DNA of a frog wouldn't do the job.

"Are these characters auto...erotica?" is such an understated and funny line
Regardless of what happened, how many of us would still have liked to visit Jurassic Park/World?
ay.
@shawntipton5078 Well they did acknowledge the DNA filling through using frog DNA - although that totally won't work in real life, of course.

Better it be a rich person place to go
@@ShaggysMovingPictureBox It was intended to be in the original book. John Hamilton was far worse in it.
Main thing I learnt from this scene is that John Hammond has the strength of 3 people... in just one arm. (Case and point) 3:56
The best what Mr. DNA gives us is a genetic science lesson on the art of cloning dinosaurs.
I was happy to see Mr. DNA again in Jurassic World and Camp Cretaceous ☺
R.I.P. Greg Burson and Richard Attenborough.

“How do you interrupt the cellular mitosis”
I wish I was smart enough to understand what that means.

I love this part.
"DINO-SOUR" 😆
Dino-sars!!!!
Dinosauer, the German Dinosaur.
"Dino-sour" a southern dinosaur
Us Texan's say Dina-saur
Dinosauw

Yeah, you can argue the reason these big girls aren't feathered or colorful is because the DNA from other species negates those genes.

3:26 Why did Gennaro ask if these scientists are ' autoerotica ' ?
He meant to ask if they were "animatronics" but forgot/confused the words. It's more for comedic effect than some sort of actual important piece of dialogue.
So clever!
1:09 Ya know something that always confused me; if its his DNA how come it has diffrent accent than him !?
Hammond probably didn’t have the energy to voice act.
Welcome to Jurassic Park
This is interesting
