    Glad I found this channel! Me and my girl are planning on moving to Texas, but Austin seems to be economically out of reach.

      I’m glad you’re checking out my videos! Haha Austin is about double the average price point of San Antonio, but there are several options between the two cities

    we lived in dallas for 4 years the biggest thing we needed to know was that it is about 80 degrees overnight from july to fall. for my family that is the main reason we are leaving texas after 4 years. the summers are way too hot. you can't walk in texas because of the heat and humidity. if you love the heat then maybe texas. if you live somewhere cold or normal weather I wouldn't recommend texas. we regretted moving to dallas. I am from the northwest and my husband is from kentucky. texas is like sleeping next to the wall heater or putting your head in the oven. extremely hot!

      yes, San Antonio (and Texas for that matter) are quite hot in the summers, especially if you're used to the colder parts of the U.S.! I've lived all my life in Texas, so I've gotten used to it. I'm sorry you guys are leaving Texas, but thank you for at least giving it a shot down here while you did! 🙂

      @@LivingInSanAntonioTexas_ my question is, is texas is muggy hot heat or dry hot heat

      @Goldarlives 28 дней назад

      It’s muggy hot. It’s like walking into a bowl of soup. You can feel the moisture creating a film over your skin.

      Dallas is the northern part of Texas. You gotta go further south to get the real heat 😁

    The price of gas in Southern California today as of April 22, 2024 is $5.44 per gallon. Still expensive. But it is not $7-$8 dollars as you stated in this video.

      Not that long ago I saw gas stations in LA at $7

      There are around 12,000 agents in San Antonio according to Google, so there's definitely a lot of opportunity there

    I lived in SA for 22 years but moved back to the PNW five years ago. We left because of several reasons but mainly the weather, politics and the culture, the first two are self explanatory and the latter one quite complex to explain. Two of my kids still live there, SA is home to them and contrary to me they love it there.

      I've only lived in SA, so I can't compare it to anywhere else in terms of culture.

      The culture is pretty bad. Brain wash kids early that anyone from texas is better than anyone else in the country. It’s a joke. super closed minded. Think they are their own country

    SA has super high property taxes.

    • @LivingInSanAntonioTexas_
      @LivingInSanAntonioTexas_  15 дней назад +1

      Unfortunately, Texas as a whole has high property taxes, but there is no state income tax

      @@LivingInSanAntonioTexas_although true, that is not (the) reason why. My state (also) has no Income tax, and property taxes are about half of tx. DONT move there. It’s a mistake
