stand up comedy scene in San Antonio?
I know there are a couple of comedy clubs in town, but I personally have never been to them. I know people go to see comedy shows at them or at the larger venues when the bigger names comedians come through, but I’m not certain on how big that scene is for San Antonio

I appreciate the video. Having the HVAC serviced twice per year is usually overkill. Find an honest HVAC service company. Listen to their advice. Follow their advice. With minimal maintenance that anyone can do, you can go years between have it serviced. An anecdotal example, just replaced my 34 year old AC unit. Not because it was unreliable or failed, but because technology changed an recharging it would cost $2000. Time to replace. Sad, because it had many more years in it. I would appreciate it if you spoke more about roof maintenance. Other than checking it for defects, I'm not sure what is involved. HOAs are becoming more common and that's too bad. While many are well intended, it's just not worth it. Run! Seriously, if you don't do as they say, they can often take your home from you. Again, they don't start out that way, but the potential is there. Avoid! Internet costs are trivial in most situations.

I can’t afford it at $420k. I’m just not at that level which I believe not many others are as well.
Standard builder grade construction. Same drywall finish, same baseboards, same paper doors, same tiles, same windows, same closets, where is the luxury? Because it’s new and clean?
What can be used besides drywall finish?

They have one available at $479,900 and then there are multiple in other communities around San Antonio with different pricing. I actually have the model home for the 45s coming out on Wednesday, but I can get out there and get a few other homes filmed if they have some far enough along in the construction process. It'll be about 1-3 weeks before they're here on the channel though

How is the real estate photography scene for photographers?
There are around 12,000 agents in San Antonio according to Google, so there's definitely a lot of opportunity there
Yeah I’ll do that, in 5 years when the market crashes and they aren’t 200k for a one bedroom!
Lots of people have been waiting since the recovery of 2008 for the market to crash again and it hasn't happened yet. You could be waiting for a while and missing out on the opportunity to build equity and ultimately wealth through real estate

SA has super high property taxes.
Unfortunately, Texas as a whole has high property taxes, but there is no state income tax
@@LivingInSanAntonioTexas_although true, that is not (the) reason why. My state (also) has no Income tax, and property taxes are about half of tx. DONT move there. It’s a mistake
I lived in SA for 22 years but moved back to the PNW five years ago. We left because of several reasons but mainly the weather, politics and the culture, the first two are self explanatory and the latter one quite complex to explain. Two of my kids still live there, SA is home to them and contrary to me they love it there.
I've only lived in SA, so I can't compare it to anywhere else in terms of culture.
The culture is pretty bad. Brain wash kids early that anyone from texas is better than anyone else in the country. It’s a joke. super closed minded. Think they are their own country

This home would be perfect if the hallways weren’t so narrow. I don’t like the finishes in the primary bathroom shower or floor.
I think the ceiling height may make the hallways seem more narrow than they are, but Highland Homes has other floor plans available as well. Also, if you wanted to build a house with them from the ground, you can choose the finishes for the home. Would you like to schedule a time to chat some more?

For a luxury home, that is an affordable price! Everyone has their own level of comfort when it comes to affordability as well

I don't consider this a luxury home... orange peel walls, ceramic tile, carpet, small kitchen & island, small lot - no green space.
a lot of homes in the San Antonio area have orange peel texture, ceramic tile, and carpet and each lot is different as far as size and is dependent on the home built on the lot. I appreciate your feedback!
