Please tell Sarru that Akeem's parents (The King & Queen) also performed the voices of Mufasa & Sarabi from the original "The Lion King" that they recently watched😁😁😁
This is one of the greatest comedy films ever BUT without proper context, so many jokes went over their heads, which isn't their fault. I wish they understood all the cultural references and of that time, but I know they were doing the best they could to follow along.
This is such a great movie. And I love/ appreciate you guys and the whole team. Such good hearted human beings that the world needs more of. Blessings and abundance to you all. Thank you for being such wonderful people.

Very old film? Time to show them some classics like Spartacus (the original ofc) and Ben Hur. Those are true classics. Or if you want to show them cinema history a movie like Metropolis, a movie from 1927 but one that was of massive influence for future films.
This channels making me feel old, I was a teen in the 80s, these two young reactors probably weren't even born. 😂 I love the epics though especially the ones you mentioned plus El Cid, The Ten Commandments etc...

The actor who plays the King, James Earl Jones is famous for being the voice actor of Darth Vader in Star Wars and Mufasa in Lion King in the English versions. The actor who plays the prince is the voice of Donkey in Shrek in the English version.
Im soooo happy you guys got to experience the brilliance of Eddie Murphy and so many iconic actors/actress within this film. One of my favorites 😂🙌🏽& I'm glad they enjoyed it as well
Ha, called it!!! :D Only bad thing about this react is that Raeen wasn't with it. I bet he would have enjoyed it. Now, this movie is of course connected with Trading Places, but I'm not sure if that one would be very interesting for the guys. Funny of course, certainly worth watching, but I think after this first impression of Eddie Murphy, Beverly Hills Cop should be soon to follow ;)
Did you guys notice that Eddie Murphy and Arsenio Hall played many other characters in this movie? Pay close attention when other characters start to show up....like the barber and so on.
Another film of someone visiting some place is Ned Kelly, also australian going to America. The thing is there are many films with this name and im talking about a comedy Ned Kelly, cant remember the year.
Thanks for getting Raju back in the game some. I've missed him. Does he have anything for a change of attire? I love when him and Raeen are paired together as it always seems like it'll end up in a fight. Lol I guess Guddu is no longer around?
its so funny the guys think 1988 was a long time ago and that they are shocked to see the metro back then...lol...the metro/subway has been around for a long long time my brothers.also they are in nyc and although usa has a lot of "crazy places" nyc is the capitol of crazy...both good and bad..but nyc is awesome...im from chicago and thats usa second city and its pretty crazy there too..cant wait to see india..im gonna vist delhi, kolkata, mumbai, varkala and goa this december...if i see you guys ill treat you to dinner at my expense..peace from chi-town usa

Some women want the money so they can look better than everyone else. Some women want to look good but have a better heart and soul. My husband tells me that regardless, a man's wife is a reflection of himself. So, the man must treat her right and take care of her so she does not look bad or have bad feelings. A man and woman should be a reflection of each other. They should enjoy the same activities or life could get boring. However, if a woman wants to do things for her husband, that's her choice and it makes things easier when the man treats the woman like his queen - then she can treat him like her king. Also, a man who loves animals and treats his mother right is always a keeper.
@@DanceySteveYNWA I'm not lying to you. Everything Raju reacted to made a lot of sense. They put it all together and summed up the movie with much intellect. It's hilarious how they were praising the Bronx for all these facilities even though it was meant to depict total squalor in the eighties.
@@Trazynn Queens, but yes, they were "fascinated" by "life, real life" 😂
Well, you gotta start somewhere. I saw this on cable as a little kid, and I understood most of it from context rather than direct knowledge.
To be fair that's also why we watch this. The culture gap is kinda the point

And let them know Eddie Murphy and Arsenio Hall played multiple characters in the film, including all the old men in the barber shop
Yes, I hope that later, they know that. Isn't there a bit of "Trading Places" intertwined in this??? Bellamy and Ameche
"She's your QUEEEEEN TO BEEEEEE"
Hhhhaaaaa
"Just let yo SOWL GLOOOOOW, behbeh!"
They have to watch Trading Places now with those 2 old guys this character gave the money messing with Eddie Murphy's characters life. 😂
I wonder how they'd feel to know the first underground metro train in New York opened in 1904!!!
they: "America had metro with automatic doors in 1980, imagine how advanced it must be today!"

And if you want to go back even further, English miners were using steam locomotives as early as 1825.
