This is one of the greatest comedy films ever BUT without proper context, so many jokes went over their heads, which isn't their fault. I wish they understood all the cultural references and of that time, but I know they were doing the best they could to follow along.
It's hilarious how they were praising the Bronx for all these facilities even though it was meant to depict total squalor in the eighties.

Very old film? Time to show them some classics like Spartacus (the original ofc) and Ben Hur. Those are true classics.
Or if you want to show them cinema history a movie like Metropolis, a movie from 1927 but one that was of massive influence for future films.

Now, this movie is of course connected with Trading Places, but I'm not sure if that one would be very interesting for the guys. Funny of course, certainly worth watching, but I think after this first impression of Eddie Murphy, Beverly Hills Cop should be soon to follow ;)

My husband tells me that regardless, a man's wife is a reflection of himself. So, the man must treat her right and take care of her so she does not look bad or have bad feelings. A man and woman should be a reflection of each other. They should enjoy the same activities or life could get boring. However, if a woman wants to do things for her husband, that's her choice and it makes things easier when the man treats the woman like his queen - then she can treat him like her king. Also, a man who loves animals and treats his mother right is always a keeper.
