Why would anyone be a cop? The media makes you out to be the bad guy and you even go to jail for using force to arrest someone. Even though that's literally their job. But if a drug addict dies when resisting you can get life in prison. Now lets hear from the people who never fought for their lives chime in about necessary force.
The media just highlights how the police really are. Imagine how many crimes cops commit that get swept under the rug or are not recorded because they can turn there body cams off. And most of the time when a cop messes up they get away with it like acorn cop or that Alaskan state trooper who pit maneuvered a car with 3 teens killing all 3.
They are decreasing the amount of officers on the streets on every shift in every district So 20 years ago you needed 25 officer's per shift In 2025 they are claiming that you only need 10 and not only that they are making those 10 officers work / cover/ patrol bugger areas So now 10 officers are doing the job it really takes 25 to do
Be nice if Sinclair Broadcasting would consider that sound in only one speaker of an ubiquitous dual speaker system, commonly inserted into each ear, is repulsive and awkward to listen to.
What good is increasing patrols if the courts refuse to put criminals in jail, if you put the criminals behind bars where they belong it makes the streets safer, the officers job easier and then the city receives more tax dollars because people will go a spend money. The current system of arrests and the revolving doors on the courts is the major cause for the city’s decline.
This police patrol shift is not helping the City of Baltimore stopping the crime attacks. We have to pray even more for us to be careful out there in 2025.
The David shift consists of about 4 officers and a sergeant for each district. The staffing constant (minimum required officers daily) is about 3 officers per district. The David Shift officers are on the same leave schedule as the other shifts, meaning at least 1 of those 4 officers are off daily. Now you’re at your 3 required officers for the constant. BPD upper command did not account for officers taking sick time, FMLA time or regular vacation/leave time, meaning that realistically you will never be meeting that 3 officer constant. Just another game of smoke and mirrors by PC Worley and the Baltimore Police Department command staff.
Be nice if Sinclair Broadcasting's Fox45 WBFF News Producer caught the lack of a lower-third for Betsy. This is a very confusing mistake for audiences; the intent should be to share sourced information, Not to have a running narrative from some Rando-talking-head.
Be nice if Sinclair Broadcasting had a standard of production quality that didn't cause low level producers to keep PQ at the top of their "to-do list."
Glad I left that filthy swamp 2 years ago
You where in bpd
Same here I moved out that sh*thole 15 years ago best decision I ever made in my life change my whole perspective on life and lifestyle
Amen.
I've never even visited Baltimore and I moved 12 years ago!
Wasn't that the whole purpose of defunding da police So it would be less police people should be happy they got exactly what they asked & vote for
yeah they went about it the wrong way. lawsuits should come out of a cops pension rather than tax payer it would of freed up millions
@razzor222 i agree 100% not to mention when cops get caught breaking law they need to get double or triple whatever the time holds

Yeah. We pretty much make it out to be not an honorable job and the corruption in PD doesn't help either.
Are you referencing George Floyd because you don’t have to strangle a person to death to be a cop

Authorities suggest locking your doors and staying inside your residence should bring down the crime rate 😂😂😂
Talk about polishing up 💩 so lieutenants become majors and majors become colonels, and the mayor becomes governor 🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮
Tell the citizens to act like responsible humans and you wont need so much law enforcement.
Yes that will work just ask criminals nicely to not break the law 😂
So basically 50 officers get screwed out of overtime because of the overlapping hours?
That's why Maryland is in Debt now

"Short staffed", then shows a dozen cops standing around.
That's the whole district lol
Be nice if Sinclair Broadcasting hired competent staff to digitize their dailies.
Be nice if Sinclair Broadcasting would consider that sound in only one speaker of an ubiquitous dual speaker system, commonly inserted into each ear, is repulsive and awkward to listen to.
Be nice if Sinclair Broadcasting would figure out that having audio in only the Left channel does not render things in Mono.
Be nice if Sinclair Broadcasting would realize most people actually get their news from watching things on their smart devices, with earbuds.

Be nice if Sinclair Broadcasting considered uploading their stories in stereo or at least dual mono as important as getting B-Roll.

If only you offered more money than Surrounding precincts…..
I wonder what would happen
funny how no one wants to be a brown shirt... also... my right ear ?... anyone?

IF YOU GUYS KEEP ADVERTISING AND PROMOTING THE SHORTAGES ENOUGH, EVENTUALLY IT WONT MATTER. WELL DONE.
