@@gaylechristensen6285 I just went back from the beginning and started listening to him planning everything and trying to wrap my head around him trying to rationalize everything from his distain for authority to being bullied and Verbally abused. So then he felt the gun as being his Power over people in his school who were saying things to him ? First of all I was Bullied big time in school and we dealt with it in a whole different way. I would end up in fights along way. Some I won. Some I got my ass kicked. But that was the end of it back then. And most of the time I would end up friends with the person that i fought with. But at that point there would be mutual respect and everything stopped. I feel bad watching the parents and listening to the medical examiner giving the reason out loud in court how each child passed on. I Hope Each Parent Finds the Lords Peace.

I was bullied, but girls deal with it in an entirely different way. One of the things that hits me is how hollow his apology is. He was actually expecting people to feel sorry for him, because he has to bear the burden of guilt. I'm an extremely empathetic person, but the time for sympathy for him would have been before he he pulled this garbage. It's so hard to understand. I think some people are just psychopaths.

I really did hear voices as a kid, they never told me to harm anyone but I skipped school and got drunk with friends, my mother got me sectioned when I got home, at the time I hated my mum for doing what she did but thankfully she did the right move as they kept me in hospital for three months and I got out and have never heard a voice since, I personally think the kid was seeking name and fame and took this foolish step which will keep him off the streets until he is a very old man.

No matter the crime, when you are caught and facing time for your actions, isn't it amazing how meek you suddenly become, as though it help you receive a lower sentence!

We need to bring back the old saying "sticks and stones may break my bones but words can never hurt me." It's too bad the crazed person sees their actions as one of strength. If they were truly strong they wouldn't let the actions or words of others get to them. Everyone's going thru something. Someone very wise once said, "Love your enemies". Cut each other some slack and be kind whenever you get the chance. There's not enough kindness on display and many are not getting the true picture of the hearts of most people. We constantly need reminders that we're all more alike than different and we can be kind to one another if we're brave enough to go against the norm.

Spent 12+ years in foster care, group homes, and institutions. 14+ placements, several schools, over 3 states. I’ve been through more trauma than I care to admit before I saw highschool. A knife was pulled on me in school, not the other way around. I won’t say I was not angry in my childhood but I never once felt like burning the village down. .. I saw people who were adopted by families I begged to be apart of, throw it all away. I now mentor and advocate for at risk foster youth and I assure you this isn’t true. A profound statement, that really makes one think but his parents died he was far from not embraced. I appreciate what you’re trying to say though, this kid is pure evil and he was marinated in hate for many many years for him to kill 17+ innocent people for a taste of power. 🥺

This is a human... he spoken of the motive behind why he is going to do what he said he is going to do...He did not beat around the bush not once....Yes he was in the wrong....He’s an angry little dude who didn’t get any credit...of just even being a huma...n he was bullied, belittled told he was nothing ..... That is what triggered him... He had mental issues , yes... maybe he was born that way...No excuse for what he done but all I am trying to say is if people would teach these children of today to not judge or bully another just because of their handicapped these type things wouldn’t happen. Also get to know who your child is hanging around. Reasoning your child could appear as the sweetest thing in front of you but totally different at a far distance. Example nikolas ... his parents seemed to be bewildered or whatever at his actions...j/s
Bullying has always existed. In fact it was worse in the past as bullied kids were regularly assaulted in addition to being ridiculed. We coddle todays children way too much snd they dont learn how to deal with it.
mike Lazembie mental health is also way worse today tho so we have to take care of kids we can’t just tell them to get over it when they are dealing with depression whatever it may be that’s what makes shooters

I think we need to start worring about others and help show that mental health issues is a real thing instead of condemning everyone and I don't honestly think the parents of the dead should be on the news telling their opinion bc obviously its going to be bad and they will say many bad things but two wrongs don't make a right this dude needs help with what's going on in his mind and if people would have cared enough to see that before that would have never happened and believe me I know bc I am someone who suffers from anxiety and depression very badly and sometimes you feel the world is against you and you just want to destroy it all I mean those feelings are real but with help they will never be acted on if anyone sees this and need to talk or needs help I'm here for anyone bc I know this pain and its very real
