I definitely resonated with this. this is something i need to do, even if i don't burn i need to get rid. Thank you for this.

Thank you so much for sharing your experience with us. Something I need to consider with diaries that I started keeping 8 years ago when I was first diagnosed with chronic illness. 🤔

I love this idea. It is all about the process in the end. Perfect timing to watch this now that camping season is here. I only have so much space. I have a few old ones that I could let go of.

So happy to hear that you liked the idea! Ooo yes, camping season would be a great time to do something like this. I totally understand the limited space problem. I hope you enjoy the process!

looks like a great journey. could u feel any of the emotions release from the pages?

Not so much in the moment as I was distracted by filming and other things going on around me. But I have noticed that after doing it, those past memories don't pop into my head randomly as much as they had in the past.

Do I need to tear all the pages off from those notebooks with metal rods?

That is up to you and will depend on what method of burning you are going with. I chose to leave them intact and remove anything from the ash after and throw that away, but please use your own best judgement based on your situation.
