Why , How & What to Consider when Burning Old Journals

- I did it, I burned some of my old journals. I filmed my experience, process and thoughts on the topic in hopes that it might help you if you were considering getting rid of or burning some of your own old journals.
I answered how I decided which ones to keep vs. get rid of. As well as how I put together my burning ritual / spell.
Would / will I do this again? Yes, Yes I would.
It's such a freeing and liberating experience.

I love this idea. It is all about the process in the end. Perfect timing to watch this now that camping season is here. I only have so much space. I have a few old ones that I could let go of.

looks like a great journey. could u feel any of the emotions release from the pages?
Not so much in the moment as I was distracted by filming and other things going on around me. But I have noticed that after doing it, those past memories don't pop into my head randomly as much as they had in the past.

Do I need to tear all the pages off from those notebooks with metal rods?
That is up to you and will depend on what method of burning you are going with. I chose to leave them intact and remove anything from the ash after and throw that away, but please use your own best judgement based on your situation.
