Enjoyed your review thanks very much. I am in Australia and just upgraded my GS1200 to a GSA1300 ASA triple black with all the options. Like most people I hated it when I first saw the videos, but now love it, particularly the view when riding and looking down over the massive tank. I am just running it in, and can’t see myself ever going back to having a clutch. It makes the ride a lot more relaxing at 61 years old. I have read a lot of the negatives about it, but like me get out and ride one and you will soon change your mind. Love your work!

Hi, Caledonian biker, once again, your enthusiasm and experience of numerous bikes and riding reviews has made me more aware of the suitability and range of bikes available to someone fairly new to riding, ensuring peace of mind and knowledge, when thinking about the machine of your choice prior to buying it. Many thanks and I shall continue to view your channel and look forward to future biking reviews.

Hi thanks again for commenting and asking the question with the downpipes fitted and an end can 10bhp is achieved taking it to 155bhp. However if you aren't satisfied with that HillTop Tuners can map you up to 170bhp@@jamescurrie1285

Glad your pleased with your bike buddy , unfortunately after having owned the last four models of GS, I couldn’t get on with the looks of the 1300 when launched , but know that looks are subjective, I searched for the last of the 1250,s , to no avail, but opted for a 1250RS instead , to have the same engine, and absolutely love it ,

Great comments I am also using an optimate on the 1300. Radar is a fab option on the tours and uk smart motorways as is the electric screen, I agree spokes are a massive pain to clean you did well chosing those wheels mine are the standard cast ones. After the latest software updates and a service the bike is running very well, it is a class act. Very powerful bike, struggle to use it all without getting in a lot of trouble.
