One of the best albums released in the last several years.
Most Definitely!
Radio Silence is an unrelenting masterpiece. Every song delivers with purpose. All tracks are music video and sing along worthy. This is a standout track!
This band is truly one of the best.
nailed it, every song hits the bullseye, rare occurrence!!!!
Agreed! The song writing and performances are great! The band also owes a huge thanks to the producer, Rich Mouser.
This is one of the best sounding albums I've got. It's just really captures the guitars, drums and vocals so well.
Agreed. 100%
I will never forget where I was and what was happening to me when this song came out (tracked by the Scream in the original form) and I never knew that Jamie wrote this. An amazing song. And one of the rare occasions when I like both versions equally.
I don't know how I missed this band back in the late 80's, and why it took me until today to discover them now, but wow am I glad I did! Incredible band and album, and as a massive King's X fan, I was geeking out at the end of this song!
oh I see what you did at the end there, dug ;)
I remember hearing Roxanne do this live in the late 80's...I remember having their demo version come out...then when in Hawaii for my 21st Bday I heard The Scream do this on a Rock station. My immediate thoughts were...man, this sounds good, but I love Roxannes version better. To each their own. Rock on! Great song, and video
THIS BECOMES POSSIBLE when there is an assembly of giants. as a non musician, this is the stuff of dreams, simply wonderful
Really dig the arrangement of that tune. Vox are exceptional. Very catchy hook.
These guys Roxanne, are writing some seriously great solid songs. SONGS. The material speaks for itself, then the talent just kicks it heavy
Yea they are makes me want to get in the truck and crank this up
Great tune, great album! Can't wait for the next release!
How could I have missed this? I was hooked at, "If you never come back it'll be too soon."!! Loved the 'Silent Planet' tag! One song and I'm in.
Nice ending - dUg.
I am glad that Rat Pak put this video up. When this album came out, I called into the radio show in Minneapolis and got to ask Jamie about the significance of the last few chords coming off King's X Gretchen Goes To Nebraska. (I knew Dug had sung on another song the new Roxanne album). Jamie chuckled and said "it was Dug playing it...on a four string". I was overstruck with fan-joy, both as a life long King's X fan and a Roxanne fan. Later I got to talk to Jamie and everyone in Roxanne about this and many things at a small concert in Austin (Roxanne is AMAZING live).
Another great song by Roxanne. I liked The Screams version,...but Roxannes version is most excellent. This album is all killer no filler!!! I'm ready for videos for every song and maybe some live music. RatPak Records keep on releasing the good shit!!! Rock on!!!
Jamie Brown, the singer for Roxanne, wrote it!
Great piece. Dug and Ray are two of the best in the biz. Keep Rockin and be safe!!
Nice to see someone paying some respect to John Corabi, this song was unrecognized when he recorded it with The Scream and the cd is really hard to find these days. Too bad he is best known for his short failed stint with Motley Crue. If the guys from Roxanne are the original creators of this song hats off, love it.
Good medicine- administered through the ears.
Radio Silence is masterfully done! I could listen to it over and over....and I do! Bravo gentlemen
What a killer version of a great song, was disappointed when I bought the new album on vinyl only to find it wasn’t on there, would’ve made a brilliant album more brilliant.Cant wait for the next album cheers from Australia 🇦🇺
Of the many versions of this song... This is right up there with the best! Good job men! 🤘🏼
One of the best albums I've heard and bought in years. I wish I would of found this band a long time ago. They are tight and the three part harmonies are amazing. Having dUg and Ray on this track is fantastic. A whole lot of talent in one spot!!!!!!
I'm so, so in love with this album, it's been too long.
How did I miss this? Fantastic
Seriously, I never thought I'd hear this song covered like this, and this is a hell of a job. Just bought all 3 albums
That Bass !!! Killer tone !!!!!
Absolutely perfectly done cover, that rivals the original! I have had this on repeat all day!
Little known fact: Jamie Brown (lead vocalist) of Roxanne wrote 'Man in the Moon' ✍
@@RatPakRecords - wow, up until this moment, I thought Corabi wrote that as a Scream tune! Thanks for the history lesson!
Really good album....cool track....great performances...and Ray and Dug to boot!! 🤘🏼🤘🏼
Great song! Awesome KX outro!
The song is so awesome! Always happy to play it loud. I Like Roxanne very much!
Just found these guys a few weeks ago. Bought the CD and love it, no bs just in your face killer songs, after my first time listening through the cd I have to say it's the kind of rock I prefer, really love "go F yourself" that song hits hard, hope there is more coming from this band because I'm ready
Hi Steve, they are finishing up their latest album!
Is there a release date ? Can't wait, would love to see them live !
@@450felix later in the year most likely :)
Any chance of a little sample to "hold us over" ?
@@450felix Quite possibly, however, if it's a sample we would post it on our FB and Twitter sites. There will definitely be full-length videos (which will be posted on our channel here) around the time of release.
Bring em on gotta love it🔥🔥🔥🔥
God I love this band!!
AMEN RIK! NO ONE WRITES REAL MUSIC FROM THE SOUL LIKE JAMIE & THE BOYS DO ANYMORE! You can hear so many influences all artfully mixed together and made their own...
God bless and take care...
Great song and great video! Awesome to see Mouser in there as well...
Love these guys!
BRAVO!!!
Diggin that Eames chair... good taste ! Sounds great guys !
super cool !!!! yes I caught the laugh dUg.....wtg
Awesome!
I love it so very kool ! Sounds like a hit to me 🫶🏻🤟🏻💋
But what about Raleigh from the Commie Compliance Commission??? :D
Excellent song.....👍
Sweet!
fantastic recordings
Love the King's X tribute at the end. As the drummer from Anthrax, Charlie Benante, recently said, Gretchen Goes to Nebraska is a flawless album. I rank it right next to Led Zeppelin IV. This Roxanne album is very solid, hope they do a follow up!
Music for my soul..\m/
Awesome! 👏🏻🤘🏻
On my monthly Roxanne kick. Love this band. Love John's guitar work.
brilliant song, love it
I remember them playing at the Mason Jar Phoenix in the 80's/90's. Idk why Man in the Moon wasn't a huge hit. They put on a killer show, wearing board shorts & flannel long sleeve shirts, bouncing around, lol. I still have their cassette, maybe cd from the day, they were selling them for about $5 . I did hear it once on the radio but by The Scream.
God I hope you guy's make it Toronto some time !! I live about 3 hours away but would make the trip for some real kick ass music !
ROCK ON !
take back CALI FROM THAT GEL HAIRED TYRANT.
You tore that The HELL Up! 👍🤘😜😁
Miss you ✌️🧜
Brilliant record.
I was waiting for this soooo long
Wow this is great!!! Has some OOTSP(kings x) first album hints. Love it!!!
Great version of a great song. Pretty cool that every version out there is different but always good, guess that is a sign of a great song.
Besides Yamaha, there's nothing like that Ludwig sound!
Love the groove and really like the olive and blue badges on the drum kit = good Ludwig shells that pick up killer in studio.
One of my favorite tunes from Roxanne (Robbie Bell)
GEIL!!!!
That kicks ass
Hell Yeah 🤘
SOOOO damn good!
Unbelievable!!! Great cover of the scream! Made John corabi proud for sure!
Actually, Jamie Brown is the one who wrote the lyrics and music to this song. John made it famous :-)
Really?!? Shame on me! But here in Brazil is hard to have some information of the scream, they were so short living band, my bad.
@@MrGarccia No worries, most people don't know that...it would make a great trivia question ;-)
@@RatPakRecords for sure!
Ratpak always has great bands
So weird seeing Ray play Ludwig drums. Fantastic song though!
Rad-Tastic!
🤘😆🤘
How am I three years late to the party!?!?!!
Better late to the party than not to arrive at all ;-)
I dig it rock on 🤘
Shared for you on Female Metalheads United \m/💙\m/~Dark Angel
🍻
The debut album is one of my favourite of all time, even though production was very poor, tinny guitars cardboardy drums still don't take away from the great quality of the songs... Would love to see a reworked recording with current musians in Roxanne...
Someone has got some 1st class 👊👊now how can we get y’all to play there??!? THAT would amaziballs!!! 👊👊💪🤘🤘
This kicks fkn ass
Kicks so much ass.
Love it! Will this be available on Spotify?
Fuck I love John Corabi writing.. this song on guitar is pretty hard to play
How is It not mentioned anywhere that this is a cover version of The Scream?
Because it isn't a cover version. "Man On The Moon" was written by Jamie Brown, lead vocalist for Roxanne
@@RatPakRecords Thank you for the clarification.
Long live The Scream. John Corabi is God! Great job guys
Lol
Went to high school with Jamie
What MORE could you want from a song? A subtle and soothing acoustic intro followed by a bombastic thundering drum section, well written lyrics & vocals, rocking rhythm guitars and a bottomless thumping bass line and... AND what then, THREE fucking lead SOLOS all within the same song??? GTFOH...
Hey ratpak records it's me kingdaddypops check out on RUclips songs by sober Otis and asylum Suite money great music just can't get break ,,,you listen you likey 🤘😜 would love 2 have ratpak t shirt ,,lynch say you hook brother up😎
NO WAY! Sorry RatPak, you're a great label and I love Ray and Doug BUT John Corabi absolutely crushes this guy! For those unaware check out the original version of this track from the band "The Scream"! "Let it Scream" is one of my favourite all time albums! I recall vividly back when it was released. It never reached the acclaim it should have. As far as that goes same thing for "Motley Crue" which Corabi fronted. If I hadn't have heard the original I'd be ok with this. The music's great, but the singing?.... My opinion will not be popular here, I realize, but I felt an overwhelming compulsion to express my view. Cheers!
I think you nailed it and also Ray is a great player but i still like Walt over him on this song.
@@Thelearner1000 Thanks so much my friend! Ray is spectacular! - good of you to mention. Also glad you gave props to Walt! It was a great vibe back then indeed.
Ah,.... Jamie and Roxanne wrote this tune and gave it to Corabi and The Scream to cover it....get to know your rock history,.....js
@@DonElstad There was some contribution, but that's not my point. John Corabi is listed in the song writing credits. "Gave it to Corabi" you say, I'm not sure about that. This was always known and performed, originally, as a Scream song. That's the rock history I lived through. I'm 49. I'm not disputing who technically wrote it.
I agree.... the Scream Corabi version is untouchable.
I knew this song from THE SCREAM(Corabi ex band)
Did you know that Jamie Brown (lead vocalist for Roxanne) actually wrote that song?!
@@RatPakRecords oh wooow,never heard that,thank u!!!
Awesome!
I like the Pak
@@kxmrock Thanks so much, we appreciate the support!
